Bought the Frank Thomas black and red venom boots last Sunday 18th of feb from Newcastle/metro store and the sides have come apart with no way to clip or attach back together so I’ve had to super glue them and press them back in hoping for the best, £120 for them to come apart after a week is fkn appalling.

Great service from Jay B in the New Malden store. Took time to find the right type of boots for me - Alpinestars SMX-Plus. Then some Knox gloves in the right size. Good price, good availability 9f stock to try

Bought a arai tour x4. From the Edinburgh branch. They did a price match to another retailer. Helmet is spot on. fantastic service. I’ll be back

Went into the Doncaster store today for some new boots, the first young chap was really polite and helpful. He went to help someone else and I spent some time looking at his recommendations. I was surprised at 2 staff who stood either side of me simply looking at me and pretending to look at stock. I asked if there was anything wrong as I felt they were treating me like a famous shoplifter, they responded with a grunt so I decided to visit Sportsbike in Leeds which was a much better experience. At 57 I really dident expect to be treated like that so won’t be returning.

I ordered 2 alpinestars hoodies in jan sales, I ordered them online 6th jan, they were sent out via dpd service, I got 2 emails stating been delivered when I got home dpd slip saying near motorcycle, went out to drive and nothing, did not request that by the way... spoke to j&s as dpd online showed neighbours door saying delivered there... its 3 weeks and im still waiting for either a refund or replacement from J&S I get investigation has to be done, but its got this silly today DPD sent the original driver to my home to start an argument stating I told him to leave near motorcycles on drive, which I didn't.... J&S when I rang and via email, got basically told I should have informed dpd as to what to do with the parcel, and download the app to explain that, and every time ive contacted J&S they just state its an investigation..... im the customer, and J&S and DPD have tried to put it on me.... its an absolute joke..... no hoodies, no refund.... apparently it takes 3 weeks to investigate and an attempt by dpd to get driver to bully me into saying its my fault.... both these companies.. if you want customer service, do not I repeat do not buy any products from J&S, go to sportsbikeshop...... ill never see the products I purchased, and clearly they dont give out refunds to customers who never received there items.... if I could give negative feedback I would absolute crap... J&S will respond to this stating an investigation needs to be done, but 3 weeks joke, and to send dpd round to my home to argue on my drive.. cause I didn't receive items..... day light robbery.... by J&S.....

Excellent as always went into the Leeds shop for a new helmet and gloves the adventure helmet I wanted wasn’t in stock in my size but thay ordered it there and then it was delivered the next morning as promised excellent work highly recommended definitely will be returning

Jay at Morden J&S. He knew right away what size and type of heated jacket would fit me even though he had never seen me before. We had a good conversation while I tried on the jacket. He made the purchase effortless.

Popped in (28/11/23) to get some new boots and claw gloves.
Chap who served me was really personable and helpful.
At the till, the other three assistants were chatty and friendly too.
Got what I was after, and warm regards to all at J&S New Malden.

Excellent quality and service. I’ve purchased a full set of gear from them online. It’s been delivered timely and the quality was amazing but unfortunately I wasn’t able to use it due to health conditions and they have accepted full return even 3 months after a purchase date! No questions asked!
This is a company you can trust!

Take your money elsewhere. Stay away from these crooks.

To preface, I purchased a ton of motorcycle gear from their Hamilton branch. The staff were friendly and helped me choose the correct items, even allowing me to try on different helmets and see how they felt over 15 minute periods.

That's where the positives end.

My RST S-1 boots have completely fallen apart in 5 months. Part of the toe box leather coating has peeled off, and both boots have begun separating from the soles. This is all within 5 months.

I contacted J&S to enquire about a replacement as their warranty states 12 months.
I was met with the most unhelpful customer service representative I have ever come across.

I sent multiple pictures displaying the condition of the boots and offered to send a bank statement as proof of purchase.

I was told the boots would have to be sent back allll the way to the importer and checks would have to be done before any decision would be made.

I was also quoted "wear and tear". You don't get £120 boots falling apart from wear and tear in 5 months. I don't run marathons in them.

I rhetorically asked if it had been a faulty helmet how would someone return the helmet and wait all that time legally unable to drive. For me and these boots however this is a safety concern. Not a legal concern. This was just to make them understand my point.

I would have begrudgingly understood if they offered a refund, as I could buy a new pair of boots out of my own money to continue riding safely in the interim, but they don't offer any refund. Just repair or replacement.

I've learned my lesson and will thoroughly research warranty terms with each online motorcycle gear company and choose which one offers the best service. J&S won't see another penny.

By all means use them to try on items in store, but don't throw your money away at them.

I’ve always had good service from Doncaster store but occasionally I order online I ordered about a week ago cruiser hotgrips by oxford I received them in the time I expected I have fitted them and everything works fine I have only given four stars as only a couple of black tie wraps and couple of nut’s missing luckily I had spare I do realise this is oxfords fault but I think they need checking

Recently had a shocking experience with Dirtbikexpress so ordered from J&S, the price was more but I spoke to Phil who was extremely helpful and priced matched without issue I received printout and the item was new this time not like the previous company

I decided to order a tank bag for a bike and the the online process is easy and quick. Bag was delivered the next day! Well packaged and exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend!

I visited the store in Uckfield with my 2 daughters today, none of us having any knowledge of biking. Jamie spent time with us taking us through step by step what equipment my daughters would need without being pushy. We bought a helmet, jeans, jacket and back plate.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the store and was grateful for the advice and guidance provided, I am certain we will be returning.

I had some J&S gloves given a a Chrismas present,I don't know where they came from and the gloves have done less than 1000 miles on a Suzuki GSX600f. (Photographs sent to J&S via email)
They have large holes in them after a very short time I am 62 years old and look after all my equipment .
I contacted J&S at Doncaster and explained the situation regarding the Chrismas present and that I would be embarrassed to ask where they came from and how much they cost etc only to be told they required a receipt in order to progress .
Not really interested in viewing the gloves in person (never mentioned returning for inspection)
So please beware if you have been given an item of clothing etc from J&S and not got your receipt and the item is faulty you may as well throw it away and go to a different outlet .

Great service from Wolverhampton store. Boots had an issue, out of warranty but no issue, refunded and bought other boots. How problems should be addressed

Great service from these guys, online order came the after two days, which was great. Jacket and gloves as ordered, gloves, (Frank Thomas Review summer gloves), however we're a little tight. Took a ride over to the Leicester shop and the guys there sorted me out in a few minutes, brilliant service, Thanks.
