On the plus side they had the size and…
On the plus side they had the size and colour of tile we wanted at a reasonable price. Sadly the four boxes of tiles arrived on a pallet with half the tiles in one box broken.
I can be creative in the way the tiles are laid to mitigate the damaged tiles but somewhere along the line the logistics of this organisation hasn’t worked.

We are very sorry about this, we use third party hauliers and as tiles are fragile items they can occasionally get damaged in transit. If you contact our customer service team at service@johnson-tiles.com with an image they can arrange foc replacements for you.

The driver was extremely unhelpful
The driver was extremely unhelpful. He dropped the tiles directly in front of the house, blocking the walkway, and then left. He could have easily placed them in the garden, which was only about three metres away. My wife was home alone with a toddler and couldn’t move them, so they were left blocking access all day. This was very unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour. I will not be using this service again.

Apologies for the inconvenience, we use third-party hauliers who provide kerb side delivery only, this means they will drive to the nearest access point possible to the intended address and you will be required to collect from there. We do state this on our website and our order emails. If your shipment contains a pallet then you will be required to take the individual packages from the pallet into your home. You will not receive any assistance from the driver. Some drivers are more helpful than others so we can only apologies for the inconvenience caused on this occasion.

Excellent service for samples
Excellent service for samples. I have always loved the simple purity of the prismatics range and the current colours are great fun.
I am currently planning a 1960's inspired modern kitchen with a total of 5 front colours and with classic prismatics splash backs in complementary colours.

AVOID - Terrible - 'out of date' Adhesive supplied - badly 'clumping'
Terrible. Tiles were delivered on a different day (late). One bag of tile adhesive had a tear in it. The proclamation about Johnson's tiles being made in the UK is untrue (on the back of one of the packs of tiles, it proudly states 'Made in Portugal' even though the box says 'Johnson's tiles'). WORST OF ALL, they supplied me with (effectively) OUT OF DATE tile adhesive which was 'clumpy' through bad storage. The bags appear to be dated 19th November 2024 (on the bag it says to use within 12 months) yet were supplied on 11th November, 2025. Have contacted the manufacturer's to check details.
THE MANUFACTURER OF THE ADHESIVE HAVE SAID:

Hi
The codes on what looks like bags of TRADEFLEX show this stock is from batch 404778 manufactured on 19th November 2024, so this stock is just over 12 months old and may have been stored for too long in a cool moist environment.
Johnsons may not have rotated their stock
The grout bag is from July this year and the sachet sealed powder within it should be OK.

Johnson's refunded one bag because it had been damaged in delivery, but it is hardly reasonable to expect a customer to use short dated bags of cement with a week to expiry date, particularly when it has been so badly stored that it has clumped in the bags.
I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THE LACK OF EVEN AN APOLOGY... notwithstanding that I was charged for a product which is not of merchantable quality and another that is misdescribed as being made in the UK.
I'll be complaining to the Advertising Standards Authority about the fact that Johnson's are lying about where some of their tiles come from.
AVOID THIS COMPANY - CERTAINLY FOR BAGGED PRODUCTS.

I believe our customer service team have already been in contact with you previously, and you were refunded for the bag of adhesive with the tear in it. We apologise again. The rest of the adhesive was supplied in date when delivered. Whilst we used to manufacture in the UK and still have stock remaining, we also supply product from partnering factories outside of the UK.

Massive help with trying to find the correct tile for a Barrat Homes house, had an issue with a sample being the wrong sample sent out but Danny rectified this quickly and got me sorted!
