Go woke, Go broke
Go woke. Go broke.
Shambolic advertising and a gamble that'll destroy your company.
Shame.
But other companies will learn from your broken "woke model"
See you at the liquidation courts next year.
An ex Jaguar fan
Cancelled my order
Because of all these bad reviews I have not gone ahead with my order, it's shameful that jaguars are so poorly made these days, I've had 3 in days gone by when they were better made.., goodbye jaguar
And I hate the new ad
Jaguar's recent rebranding feels like…
Jaguar's recent rebranding feels like they’ve abandoned their traditional values in favor of pushing a leftist, "woke," and LGBT agenda. The iconic legacy of Jaguar is being sacrificed for trendy marketing buzzwords. As a loyal customer, I am disappointed and will never consider buying their cars again. This approach alienates their core audience and tarnishes their heritage.
Woke logo rebranding??!
Looks like the company is having some issues with identifying itself? You lost me as a customer. It's JAGUAR Not jaGuar 🐆
potential customer - not woke
I'm a potential customer of Jaguar - retired recently - looking to buy a Jag (F Pace) next year - I've always wanted to own a Jag. The recent rebrand would suggest old laggards like me (totally reject the woke ideology that has infected most and clearly reflected in your recent rebrand) are not your target customers - what a pity. I suggest you focus on your core customers - and listen less to the woke left who appear to run your marketing team - I doubt you'll listen - maybe you will when financial reality hits you. I'll look towards the German or Japanese for my next purchase - what a pity - I so wanted to buy a British Jag.
From the chic decor to the impeccable…
From the chic decor to the impeccable service, every visit is a treat. The staff is incredibly professional, and they genuinely take the time to understand your preferences and offer personalized recommendations. I’ve had several services here, from haircuts to hair extensions, and the quality is always top-notch. The stylists are not only talented but also care deeply about your hair’s health and well-being. They even helped me find the perfect shampoo and conditioner that suits my hair type, which has made a huge difference in keeping my hair shiny and healthy. Every time I leave, I feel like a million bucks.
after 40 years I will not be buying another Jaguar
I have been a loyal Jaguar owner since mid seventies through all their trials and tribulations and still LOVE driving them, however, I take exception to their current WOKE advert and this is where my Jaguar journey ends! I will not be buying another Jaguar !
Disappointed by Jaguar's Woke Agenda
I have been a loyal Jaguar customer for years, but my recent experiences have left me utterly disillusioned. It seems that the brand I once admired for its luxury and performance has decided to prioritize political correctness over quality and innovation.
Jaguar's recent marketing campaigns are filled with forced diversity and social justice messaging that feels disingenuous and out of touch with the brand's heritage. Instead of focusing on what made Jaguar great—exquisite craftsmanship and engineering excellence—they are now more concerned with ticking boxes and appeasing social media outrage.
The vehicles themselves have also suffered. It feels like the focus has shifted from creating powerful, thrilling cars to producing bland, uninspired models that cater to a specific agenda. The driving experience that once set Jaguar apart has been compromised in favor of a narrative that alienates long-time fans.
Customer service has also taken a hit. When I reached out to express my concerns, I was met with dismissive responses that seemed to echo the company's new priorities rather than addressing my issues. It’s clear that Jaguar is more interested in virtue signaling than in listening to its loyal customers.
In short, Jaguar has lost its way. If you’re looking for a brand that stands for quality and performance, look elsewhere. I can no longer support a company that has chosen to go woke at the expense of its core values. Save your money and invest in a brand that truly understands what luxury and driving are all about.
New Jaguar logo and ad campaign are…
New Jaguar logo and ad campaign are shit.
Great service in my experience
I happened to look up Jaguar here and was somewhat surprised by the very poor reviews. I’ve had my Ipace for 9 months and it has had a couple of faults that related to each other. Part of the electrical system was replaced after the infotainment screen stopped coming on, then a related problem took the car out of action completely. But the service I received was good. I got the car in to be looked at within a week of the first non critical fault, and when it fully broke down they came and fixed it at my home. Service was really good in both cases
I also really appreciate the extended warranty that gives me peace of mind compare to say a Tesla. The car is also lovely to drive and be in.
Overall I would definitely buy again.
NEVER BUY JAGUAR
I bought a 1 year old 2020 IPace 3 years ago. Basically speaking, Jaguar released this model with many, many faulty components. These include the charging mechanism, the in car electronics, and even the hydraulics that open and close the boot.
I have spent close on GBP 10k fixing it in the past 12 months alone. I am desperate to sell it - for any number frankly - but it is never out of the garage long enough for me to do so. It has been in the garage for far longer than on the road. The Jaguar dealership charges GBP 288 just to diagnose a problem; and GBP 350 per hour labour costs. Think about this.
All for a 4 year old car which should rarely need any work.
Needless to say Jaguar don't stand up for their awful product. I am seriously considering scrapping it.
You have lost a loyal customer
What can you say! I had to replace a battery. I had a bit of fun fitting it. Got the old one out and positioned the new battery back in the well. Didn't connect the terminals as we had visitors just when I was going to do it. 2 hours later went out to the Jaguar XF to find the boot closed and no way to open it so I could connect the battery terminals. Phoned Jaguar Reading who were useless. Said I needed someone to come out to open boot. That would have cost a pretty penny. They gave me a Jaguar help line but once again a total waste of time. I finally discovered I could open the middle section of the back seat and squeeze in to release a larger back seat. Once done I could reach the terminals and connect the new battery. With the boot now open, I could finish the job. Once I discovered how to get to the battery (which took 60 secs.), it took two minutes to open the boot. Jaguar - you have just lost a loyal customer who has now had several Jags. All for someone to tell me, on the phone, how to do a five minute job.
I-Pace for 8 months in workshop
After 60k km, the car had a battery fault. The official woskhop has it parked for 8 monhts now and unable to repair it or give a timeline for repair.
What a company.
Power Steering Failure on my 2018…
Power Steering Failure on my 2018 FPace. Sudden power failure (EPS fail). Car towed into JLR as a breakdown at my own cost as I couldn't move the car. Diagnosed with the very common fault of the crack in the steering rack not that JLR will acknowledge this. Repair cost over £3000 JLR only contributing 20%. There is a brilliant facebook group (JLR Power Steering Alliance Group (Jaguar FPace & Range Rover Velar) now with 946 members all experiencing the same issue. Awful customer service from JLR Client Care with DVSA confirming there are no recalls planned despite the serious safety issue of a total steering failure. Many years of the models of Fpace and Velar affected and an uncoordinated, discriminatory, uncaring response from JLR. Some customers have had a full refund, some partial refund or no financial assistance at all. So called prestige cars with low grade parts and an even lower grade of customer service !! don't risk your safety or waste your money and time with these negligent clowns!!
Don't buy a Jaguar
Jaguar cars are a nightmare the quality and after sales service is appalling, constant breakdowns, normally outside of warranty. I purchased a top of the range XFS Portfolio in 2014, cost not far short of £58k, so far I've spent around £8k on breakdown and recoveries and repairs after the warranty expired. The Alloy wheels are not forged, they're castings and crack easily, so far had to replace all four rims, cost £3k. The air intake manifolds are no longer Aliminium, they're plastic and they're guaranteed to crack around 80-100k miles, cost to replace mine £2k. The CJB failed at 65k miles due to poor design of windscreen washer bottle which incorporated the pump and wiring in the bottle, water wicked its way up the wiring into the CJB, cost to replace mine and program it £1500 after waiting for it on back order for 2 months. Steering wheel column locked fault is the last one and last straw, car wouldn't start just warning "steering column locked. Fault diagnosed as both CJB and RJB corrupted needing reprogramming and a replacement Lock Module, cost £1500. My advice to any one considering buying a Jaguar is DONT
The worst
Disgraceful service. Accrodimg to JLR a warranty repair such as main battery failing can take months. No updates at all, should be closed down by trading standards . Not had car for 5 months now. 21 times it has been in prior to this most recent known recall faults
Problems sonce 261 miles. The car is great its JLR not putting things right that is the issue and franchise dealers who with respect are plainly rude nevermind never actually repairing the car and blaming customers or head office rather than doing their job. Nothing short of emabarassing
2023 i-Pace broken down twice in 2…
2023 i-Pace broken down twice in 2 weeks and Jaguar Tonbridge refused to accept it in for repairs. Both times 12v battery issues and now electrical issues with headlights and windscreen wipers.
Great car when it works but I would never buy Jaguar again.
Misleading and rude
Jaguar provides service quotes for specific jaguar authorised centres based on the 3+ year scheme. However when you phone the retailer they quote something different.
When i contacted customer services by webchat I'm just told the retailers set their own pricing and only some adhere the pricing structure.
Couldn't tell me which ones and completely missed the point that they shouldn't be misleading by quoting prices that aren't true
Disgusted by jaguar
If i could give a minus i would, the customer service is atrocious ( calls herself “ a customer experience advisor “ ) its a joke she is nothing more than a robot repeating the same drivel i will never ever buy a jaguar again and i hope many people follow this, its a shame they don’t put any effort into after care they only want your money and their prices for repair are well inflated 😡🤬😡 they want in excess of £21.000 to replace and engine that they have replaced in future cars because they know it faulty !! Any other decent car company would recall it , not jaguar, my previous 3 cars were Honda s and Mitsubishi , ill be going back to them as they never had any problems!!!
