We have been harassed for 2+ Years by some dumb guy who spams our feed posts then deletes his account to make a new one over and over after we block him. Thousands of people have complained about harassment issues but imvu hq doesnt care enough to take action, they just care about the money they're getting. Hundreds of people have asked them to implement the option to only allow Feed Post comments by people in their friends list but they ignore that too. the ability to block actions from other avatars should be available to everyone as well, not just to VIP users. by the way, this idiot found some of our social media accounts when we dont know how. HQ NEEDS TO ALLOW US THE OPTION TO TURN OFF FEED POST COMMENTS TO ANYONE NOT IN OUR FRIENDS LIST BECAUSE THIS IS TOTAL POOP. I am tired and exhausted from blocking his accounts just to have him make more and start all over again. Imvu used to be a great company/program but has gotten worse over the years because they have gotten greedy. They need to listen to their customers before something huge happens and they end up having a lawsuit on their hands.

Just stay away from IMVU, they will ful you,continuosly beg you for money, enjoy to delete your account for stupid reasons and blackmail you for to get it back, they very well know that you made friends and you miss them. This is the worse thinkable social platform EVER, do not waste your money on imvu, you will regret it.

im literally pissed off with this game they put my account on hold just know that i had a account 3 years ago in 2019 that was HACKED and my account now is on hold all of a sudden even tho i have paid for credits since. and i apparently owe them over $350! that they wont even explain why this game is bs they will scam you out of money do not play my account is still on hold until i pay them that ridiculous amount quit while u can.

i will sue imvu, by not giving my account back. because someone hacked me, and abusing against rules.

It’s disappointing because phone users who don’t have a desktop can’t have access to the game like ap and marriage etc, and there should be free access to some things or challenges that award better credits. It’s not nice and glitches etc can really be avoided also kids younger that 17 should not be on this app? Even if ap isn’t on phone a 13 ur old can use it on pc so?

Think imvu should be took down its Absolutely disgusting full of sexual predators on it and scammers one guy fellow me on it used a fake profile name Paul Tomas 1982 then he change it again to a Canadian profile block him straightaway I deleted my profile ladies you need be careful how talking on there should be took off absolutely disgraceful

Banned because my roomate used my pc to log on! I contact the terrible support and worked with them answering questions which i feel involved giving very personal info.

The Agent Joryll then called me a "liar" and I am not paraphrasing here he actually called me a liar and claimed I was lying because my roomate used my bank card, which I allowed my roomate to, then told me I can't allow other use MY CARD this agent Joryll actually tried to tell me how ot use my card!

So after 15 years of being on the account, I was banned, for "impersonating staff". Why? Because I had an IMVU logo on my profile. But seriously why may you ask. Well I was protesting IMVU for a while on forums giving my opinions about the state of the community and IMVU in general. One day I was super done with the platform considering IMVU seemingly allows racists and bigots on the software to say disgusting things for years with seemingly no punishments, to where multiple people knew exactly who these people were. I also had my disagreements and opinions about the ever lasting problems on the site and the "new" now more expensive VIP system. I had posted a picture on my profile icon with the IMVU logo, but huge red lettering infront of said logo saying " I dont support IMVU ". I guess that's grounds for "impersonating staff" from their " safety specialists" in the office, because yes I called them. No other evidence, NEVER had I ever done such a thing, secondly haven't been on for a month and just watching friendly only pulse. Thirdly, I have never received a warning before this all happened, nor have I ever actually received a warning on IMVU in my time here. What justice huh? Thats IMVU's justice. Way more malicious people in the community but man, that picture was so awful wasn't it. They have the ability to wipe the profile picture and gave me a stern message saying it was bad (granted I would still have ranted about it but not on this level) Ya. Well, Run. Because if that's a technicality that they can get you to just to silence you and or ban you for any reason. Why be on it, just going to wait for trolls to false flag you off the platform, and that happens alot. And sadly their are KNOWN users who make multiple accounts daily to do malicious things, many of them actually have tumblrs dedicated to this, and no matter how much we complain and have proof as such, nothing happens.

IMVU has a very toxic community. I don't feel it's good for anyone's mental health. Pedophiles run rapid on this app. Internet bullying is a daily account. Suicide is a common topic. Rather it be people saying the want to commit suicide or telling others they should comment suicide. The staff does nothing about flags. The staff also spams your inbox with advertising to buy more credits at least 5 times a day. Almost all the rooms are either silent or full of drama or sex. Creators are not given proper pay for their work. People steal creative work with no repercussions. All in all it is not a safe or healthy environment and I would not recommend it for anyone ever

A good build-up. I can have access through my mobile phone. I've always updated the system properly. Even the clothes are affordable and good to use. Plus many culture come together and make a nice pretty fashion show.

Locked me out of 2 accounts I paid for usernames for(I hadnt logged into the game in a while). I have a feeling they have resold my usernames. Customer support is useless. Cash-loss

Déjà je trouves qu’il y a beaucoup de personnes malveillantes, vulgaire, toxique et j’en passe..
Et leurs chat virtuelle est purement commercial, tous les vêtements, meubles pour les rooms etc sont très cher à long terme.
C’est de l’argent dépensé inintelligemment et foutu par la fenêtre juste pour un monde virtuelle.
Une honte ce genre de plate-forme qui font payer les gens pour des débilités pareils.
Sinon à part cela, j’avais réussi à me faire plusieurs amis avec qui je m’était attachée mais qui au final j’ai perdu de vu et oubliés.
En conclusion je n’aimes pas du tout ce chat virtuelle.

I love this app people that has very negative comment should keep thare mouth shut because IMVU made this site and app possible for us so we can make friends and have fun I love this app because they want us to have fun they want us to make friends and not be lonely so ya I think IMVU is a safe place to be as long as you don’t give information out to people you never met on FaceTime so Thankyou IMVU for making it possible for us you guys are the best

They really should call it IMFU with as much as they do. I have recently had my account "put on hold" due to inactivity. I have been with IMFU for over 9 years. Sure, I gave it up because it was quite boring. But I came back to see if a few friends of mine still were here. Nope. But, In the mean time I had to create a support ticket to get my account taken off of this "security hold" they put it on! Well, get this, when I did, I was told to give them all my information. (Keep in mind its been YEARS since I have registered any sort of information) emails change, things change over 9 years and I really can't keep up with every single email I have had. So after answering their questions at least 100 times over, explaining to them I even took the liberty of shutting ALL of my PayPal accounts, they still INSIST that I give them the PayPal information to the account. Even though, I know for a fact, they don't have MY information because its all closed. It has been for YEARS. They have every other piece of information I have given then, correctly mind you, and yet they still focus on this. I say don't bother wasting your money. Its a waste of time. If you want a REAL game? Try Second Life! it ups IMFU way more! And you don't even need credits as there are alot of free places to shop! Far superior too with graphics and the freedom you have in game play to move around!

These snake oil salesman have to be the most deplorable company in the industry, and one way or another I am going to have my pound of flesh. Age verification is a joke, and PA is a balls out lie. They pretend to allow sex but nope, only if you are a lesbian because get this, every single male organ is flaccid and that is a deliberate decision. Fraudulent and it reeks of sexism and fraud, if they do not refund every cent I wasted on this rubbish then I am reporting them to the ACCC, and that will just be the start. I am going to rain hellfire down on these thieves, a scam like this has no right to exist and I will make it the business of my remaining years to destroy them utterly. Not just them either but everyone who backs them, including Menlo Ventures, AllegisCyber Capital, Bridgescale Partners, and Best Buy. They are all a bunch of charlatans and they deserve to be tried in the Hague. Respect yourself, do not do business with any of these companies.

My account has been hacked twice. I was not informed for a password changed nor email change. I was a small creator and had about 30K credits, I had made the account in 2006. My account was permanently banned for suspicious activity as well as my brother's account was banned because it was attached to my IP. Despite providing evidence of ownership and billing information they did not refurbish my account and kept it banned.
I had not done anything to be hacked, as I do not message people and would rarely joined chat rooms. There is no second authentication, no notification of email/password change nor any confirmation email. I would give this a 1 star if my actual site experience was terrible but I was quite becoming successful until this happened. For a chatting app you'd expect security to be the bare minimum.

For years now, IMVU has committed multiple scams and harbored scams. They will more than likely ban your account for so much as talking to their out-sourced customer support that have no ability to do anything outside of forward your payments, and ban your account without appeal. They constantly violate multiple user and consumer rights, and multiple laws across the locations their app is accessable. Avoid using this program, or giving them any money.

they never fix any issues with the classic client, it doesn't sync with the beta or mobile client while in rooms. they take features that used to be available to everyone, and put them behind a pay wall. they are removing the standard VIP plan, and adding a tiered vip system that doesn't benefit the users. it only forces you to spend more to get the features you had with classic vip. years ago they totally disrespected and hurt the dev community by taking away their option to sell credits they earned for products they made, just so they'd have to go thru IMVU, so IMVU can get a second cut of the credit profit. the greed and lack of care they show towards their users is just insane.
