SCAMS & FRAUD! Will overbook a hotel with no rooms and charge your card with no way to get a refund!
EDIT: EMPLOYEE INTENTIONALLY OVERSOLD ROOM BOOKING AND I WAS LEFT WITH NO ROOM WHEN I SHOWED UP WITH A CONFIRMATION NUMBER. Front desk manager said this happened to around 12 customers in one night and that HotelPlanner.com along with several other sites sell you a room with a confirmation number knowing the hotel in question is completely booked. He said it is a popular scam for these online booking sites with foreign customer service/outside USA service.
HotelPlanner.com still charged my card and I couldn’t get in touch with anyone to get a refund.
AGAIN, I HAD NO HOTEL ROOM AFTER WORKING 14 HOURS OUT OF STATE AND I WAS HOURS AWAY FROM HOME. THE ENTIRE CITY WAS BOOKED OUT WITH A COLOEGE GRADUATION EVENT AND MULTIPLE SPORTS TOURNAMENTS THAT WEEKEND. There were no rooms for HotelPlanner.com to even sell and yet they did anyway!
I was dangerously exhausted and pissed off. Not a good combo. The extended stay manager guy was so upset that I was scammed. He had a whole lobby full of pissed off customers who were scammed. Twelve couples!!!
Hotelplanner.com doesn’t know what they are doing and they can leave you stranded hours away from home and exhausted with no room. And they will charge your card with no way to get a refund! What a scam!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, this is what I thought at first…. Now I know that this website is full of scams and fraud!!!!!!

Employee did a fantastic job helping me. I was traveling out of state on a busy weekend for local hotels. She helped me choose a hotel within my budget and within distance requirements from where I would be working this weekend. She had to check multiple hotels. She was very careful to take my budget concerns into consideration, as well as distance from the event I was working. She was very pleasant and attentive to details.
