Homebase - Harlow Omdömen 

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of garden plants and diy stuff. We always use homebase as first choice and usually get what we want.

Susan had very helpful recognised I was struggling with my purchase and offered to get help for me to get my purchase to the car. I thought that was good customer service and she gets a thumbs up from me👍

Sale assistant very helpful and warehouse staff helped put box into the vehicle as very large.

Found what I needed online and easily able to check whether in stock. As my local Homebase was out of stock it was easy to check availability in next nearest store. Harlow store had what I needed so a simple purchase online and pick up in store. Friendly young man handed over my order. So overall great.

I visited just a moment ago to purchase some tiles for my kitchen. The staff were exceptional. A member of staff saw I was struggling picking up the tiles and immediately helped. He then asked if I needed help to my car at which point i politely declined as I didn’t want them to have to come out in the boiling heat! I then went to the till and Charlie made it so easy for me coming round to scan the tiles so I didn’t have to lift them - was so friendly too! Then when getting to my car another employee who I believe he must of been on his break then helped me with getting them into the car! What an amazing team - so helpful and made the whole experience really enjoyable

I ordered in just a few seconds, jumped in the car and headed to the store. By the time I'd got there, my product was already waiting for me. A seamless process. Thank you

Charlie was very helpful and helped locate items from out the back that were on display. Polite and cheerful. Saved me a trip to another branch.

Whenever i come to homebase i seek out Cluve as he us the most heloful and most consciousness staff member ever. Thanks again.

I was served today by a delightful young man in Homebase Harlow - Charlie Gill was so friendly and helpful. He cheerfully directed me to the garden paints ......and then towards the exit after I'd paid!

Fiona was so helpful with the paint samples I needed mixing and checked finishes available. She also checked whether an old favourite paint colour was still in the system.

Best Homebase garden center I’ve ever been too- the plants were beautifully organised and inspiring! A lot of care and attention clearly is given here and it was a joy to walk around and select the plants I wanted to buy.

Used click and collect, the ready for collection email soon arrived and there were helpful friendly people at the click and collect point. Thank you to the Homebase colleague who kindly came after us with my car keys after I left them on the counter. A good experience.

Hi I’ve been looking for a satinwood paint in a particular colour couldn’t get it anywhere so I went to Harlow Homebase oooohhh no joy I spoke to a young lady called ELLA who scoured the shelves but no you didn’t have it to which then she told me “we can make the paint up for you “ I was shocked I said to her “ but I thought it was only on emulsion” “oh no”she replied “ we also do it in satinwood and gloss etc” well my goodness she was amazing helped me find the colour I wanted then she even made the paint up and then served me at the till she was the most helpful polite and friendliest assistant I’ve come across in a long time so I’ve come home finally with my paint excellent service definitely shop there again xx give the girl a promotion !!!

Found what I needed (a watering can) in and out in a few minutes!

Ordered a double wardrobe we designed in the Harlow store with customer service assistant, no problem. Wardrobe was delivered, no problem. After emptying the boxes they had sent wrong parts - 2 shelves instead of the top and the base of one wardrobe, had to wait till the next day to contact Harlow store for them to re-order the correct parts and had to wait a week for delivery. Once the wardrobe was up it was then discovered they don’t include the really important part of connecting the wardrobes together so we had to sort that out ourselves. Then discovered the ‘slow closing’ contraptions for the doors were faulty and the runner for the doors was bent. The piece of metal that connects the doors to the runners was bent and the doors kept falling off. After a lot of phone calls to their ‘customer helpline’ and not being able to understand a word what was being said by their very unhelpful call centre in India, and the Harlow store, and being told it wasn’t their responsibility to fix the wardrobe they did send someone out to inspect it. He totally agreed the parts were faulty and damaged and arranged to have the said faulty parts delivered and he would come and repair the doors and fit them correctly. Informed Harlow store the parts were in to be informed some time later after chasing this guy up it wasn’t their responsibility to fix the doors, apparently this guy hadn’t written in his report that he agreed to do that, so basically it’s our problem to sort out and fix. Terrible service from Homebase, no customer after care whatsoever, they don’t care if the goods they sell u are faulty, absolutely DO
NOT recommend their bedroom furniture or buying it from the Harlow store. We are now left trying to fix a sliding wardrobe that doesn’t slide and is dangerous as the doors kept falling off. Shoddy all round Homebase !!!
@HOMEBASE … your response is just as shoddy as expected … just like the store’s help in fixing the problem
