Ingoldmells The store looks half full it’s not like its usual standard. Prices are wrong having to get refunds for items that aren’t there price the ticket says and new staff I heard swearing on the shop floor I won’t be going back

My wife gave a20 pound note for items totaling 5.80 was given 5.40 change when she's questioned about it she's asked for a receipt she's was told it hadn't printed one out so there was nothing he could do about it this happened today at hartlepool it is not the first time she's has been robbed by herons it is agood job I wasn't there as I would have demanded the manager to check the till won't be back ever

Just been shopping & took 3 year old grandson his new book was in the basket,
When to pay and some thief has stolen his book

I think they have perhaps grown too much or maybe the owners have become greedy. I went yesterday and a number of products where unto 50% more than in Sainsbury's, many others where simply just more expensive, like anchor butter, Dr oater pizza, peperami, steaam fresh birds eye rice. You used to be able to get decent bargains there, but now you seem to get fleeced

Went into Gainsborough store, no staff member on the till and 3 people in the queue to be served, someone had in the queue had to shout for a member of staff .
When we eventually got served was overcharge and even before paying said I think that three is a mistake to the reply I ain’t got time to check .
Yes overcharged on items , called the manager who was rude and never gave an apology.
Whilst in there loads of items well past there sell by date some by over 2 months .
Went to phone customer services to complain and you get cut off after 2 minutes.
Awful customer service ..

Another con artist company. 3 times I’ve been in there and all three times been over charged by £1.90. £2.50 and 80p I pop in late evenings to grab reduced stuff and the receipt is that complicated it’s hard to understand . B and m own this company and I don’t think is the staffs fault it’s the system on the till. Double check when buying from these .

Staff member was rude and has she is a manager that is not good all I wanted was to change some more biscuits as they where soge and didn't taste right but in stead she call me a liar and said that they had nothing they can do but I brought them from herons food on garage way in Runcorn I will advise you shop somewhere else

I shop at my local Heron in liscard , Wallasey & have always found it good, well priced, friendly staff , manned tills.
BUT since the new manager has taken over a lot of stuff isn't priced, hardly any staff on shop floor, and when there are, they're too busy chatting on headsets to collegues. The manageress can be quite abrupt & unfriendly & shop looks unkempt quite often.
It's just not a nice place to shop any more ....

Great shop , everything you need at affordable prices. Lots of special bargains on a regular basis . All the staff are polite helpful and very friendly , nothing is too much trouble for them . Excellent all round , so pleased Heron came to Clipstone .

I use a mobility scooter, i couldn't thank Amy Medley more for how she helped me today. She packed all of my shopping in my bags, she was very helpful and polite.

Bought a packet of After Eights £2 in Deane store, Bolton. Mint had separated from chocolate settling on bottom of packet. A sticky mess on opening, not edible.

**Terrible Experience with Expired Products at Heron Foods**

I recently bought 2 trays of strawberry trifles from Heron Foods, each containing 3 trifles. Both trays had a sell-by date of December 5th, but when I ate a bit of one on December 4th, it was already spoiled. This is completely unacceptable, especially when the product is still on the shelf with a "next-day" sell-by date.

It is disgraceful that Heron Foods would place food with such short shelf lives on display, and it's clear there is a lack of proper quality control. I understand the trifles were only £1 each, but the issue is far bigger than the £2 total cost. It’s about trust and ensuring customers receive safe, fresh products.

I will be seeking compensation for these spoiled trifles and want to warn other customers about this problem. Don’t risk buying perishable goods from Heron Foods unless you want to deal with the same disappointment. I will also be sharing my experience through a bad review to help others avoid this issue.

My husband went to herons food ravensthorpe dewsbury picked some chocolate bars but was busy so put them back & 2 Asian security guards followed him to the next shop & asked to look in his bag & then left him with out apologies so thanks for the embarrassment & we won’t ever step foot back in your shop again & instead of looking at innocent genuine people they should be watching for proper criminal behaviour

Heron foods are becoming a disgrace they are becoming the masters of shrinkflation half there stock is getting much smaller and they are more expensive than most shops and supermarkets around just a few examples monster munch and wotsits 6 pack crisps have shrunk to 12 gram bags potatoes have shrunk to 3 lb bags they are also 3 pints milk,bread are the most expensive things like soups beans are also the most expensive things locally this list could go on but it would take forever

hi, I have a problem with the payment at heron foods, they took my payment 3 times and each one was canceled. and the application shows that the money has been withdrawn. The woman manager refused to issue confirmations of canceled transactions. She was rude, shouted at me and said that she was not interested and that she wanted confirmation. She told me that I should call the management of Heron Foods. I do not recommend shopping at heron foods leicester city

I went into heron on orford lane Warrington this evening whilst I was being served by Rebecca I noticed I had been overcharged I pointed this out to her she just mumbled “so“ the till says it’s this price I told her what the price was on shelf she just said the same thing again I asked her if she wanted me to show her the product she said no just pay I asked her if she could get the manager to come and sort it please she gave such a huge sigh sound and said she just wanted to go home she dragged her feet going towards the back of the store ( she wasn’t very well presented with a clean ironed uniform and frayed pants so untidy ) then Callum came out I explained the situation shown him the price on the item I was buying he was so helpful and sold me the items at the correct price he apologised for Rebecca’s appalling customer service and informed me they were trying to get rid of her anyway as she is not customer friendly as I witnessed if Rebecca doesn’t want to do the job she shouldn’t be there I work in pharmacy and am customer based I want to go home but wouldn’t dream of acting and treating customers the way she treated me tonight
Please don’t ignore my complaint you really need to teach her some manners and customer service skills if she is going to be continuing to work for heron foods
