I am writing to raise a serious and urgent concern regarding an individual named Steven (Steve) Bradbury, who I understand is associated with Heron Foods in some capacity.

It has come to my attention through multiple sources that Mr. Bradbury has demonstrated highly inappropriate and disturbing behavior toward underage girls, with allegations including the grooming and impregnating of minors. These claims are extremely concerning and, if true, may constitute serious criminal offenses.

Given the nature of these allegations, I strongly urge Heron Foods to conduct an immediate internal investigation and report this matter to the relevant authorities if you have not already done so. In the interest of public and staff safety—especially for vulnerable young people—Mr. Bradbury should be suspended pending investigation and ultimately banned from employment at any Heron Foods location globally if the allegations are substantiated.

I trust that your company takes safeguarding, ethical conduct, and legal compliance very seriously and will act swiftly and responsibly in addressing this matter.

I am willing to provide further details to the appropriate parties if necessary and hope this issue is escalated with the seriousness it deserves.

I begin by being honest and there were quite a few members of staff around but when I arrived at the till was waiting what I considered to be an unreasonable time to wait for service at the till. So I said "any time will do" but not in anger.

The shop assistant appeared stating "you need to ring the bell & that's how we know customers are there. I didn't know that there was a bell to ring: which I politely mentioned. I had my card in my hand ready for the payment to be made. The shop assistant said that I should have informed her that I was going to pay by card... I said" there are a lot of things I have to do & wished her a lovely day.

Just as an additional note whilst writing this. The shop is quite badly clogged up with metal crates and difficult most of the time to get around and would not recommend for people with mobility issues.

Prices often competitive compared with other outlets.

Newton Hall staff are terrible. They are too busy talking to each other and when they eventually come to serve you at the till (still shouting to colleagues out in the shop) there is no "please" or "thank you" and you can tell that they consider it a hardship to have to I terribly their chat with their colleagues pals. I won't go in there again.

Do not deal with this company, especially the one in Intake Doncaster, they are in hand with a bent car parking firm, issuing £100 fines to anyone who uses the stores parking. Shop spend money, still get the £100 fine. I wouldn't even give one star.

The branch manager and two white elderly ladies who work at the Watling street branch Ribbleton Preston have a very bad attitude and are extremely difficult and rude. They can never make a mistake and even when you point out a mistake, they look at you and say, SO WHAT !! The branch manager Lanky Box as all the customers refer to him as is extremely rude and abrupt. The guy served me day before and I had bought 3 bottles of coke zero for a pound and when I realised at home that I bought a wrong flavour, I went back to change it and he refused to change even though the till receipt were not working he was still adamant that I needed a receipt. Now how bizarre is that. Absolutely diabolical customer service. He ought to be sacked. All good staff have gone and the rubbish is left. Ridiculous staffing throughout 🙄 😒.

Don't shop and park near the Myrtle Street Heron Store!
About 10 days ago, my disabled wife
parked in Myrtle parade just opposite the Heron store. She did about 10 mins shopping there displayed her badge and still received a £60 fine for parking there to shop!!!! AVOID!!!

l went into herons to get some snack but then l ask one of the staff how there day as been and the aggressively said why do you need to know

I called them to say that a pack of Salmon I bought stank to high heaven. I was asked a week ago to e-mail them with details, which I did on the day. Needless to say that they haven't responded as yet. I have received a generic acknowledgment that says it could take them 21 days to respond. In the meantime, I am out of pocket.

I applied for a job ,and when they call me I accepted all their terms and conditions and they still not give me the job, they rejected my application because I m student, it's a shame 😔 😞, something for sure it's wrong with this company, looks that they put fake jobs and don't value the people

My recent trip to Heron Foods left a sour taste, not because of the products, but due to the abysmal customer service. The store assistant on duty was outright rude and displayed a shocking level of ignorance. Their demeanor made what should have been a quick and easy purchase into an unpleasant ordeal. It's truly disappointing when a member of staff seems to go out of their way to be unhelpful and dismissive. I expect a basic level of politeness and knowledge when shopping, and unfortunately, this was completely lacking. I'll be hesitant to return after this experience.

The till operator was untruthful. Disrespectful in helpful and rude

Very rude assistant in heron food on the raynor road fallings park, black lady on the till, very short hair ( no name badge) talking constantly through the headset, I was obviously an inconvenience, also had to play guess the price, and no please or thank you, lovely customer service

After visiting my local Heron on Endyke Lane in Hull, I felt it needed to be brought to your attention that customers are sick to death of having food shoved to the end of the serving station and piled high then huffed at while they have to wait to be paid. If you pay before you have fully paid then they start sending the next person's shopping down into yours. Some of the staff have no patience and would rather talk about what they're doing or have done recently with their friends and family who are in store ignoring the person they're serving. They are rude, ignorant and need a major lesson in customer service. I appreciate this is a hard store to work in due to the quality of some of the customers and the abuse they get but this is no excuse to treat everyone this way. There is only 1 female member of staff who actually interacts with her customers and will smile and chat whilst serving them. Price wise the products have jumped considerably in price and im finding that other local shops are becoming cheating and more pleasant to visit.

Prices up on single items. As an oap I don't have a big freezer or fridge for several products. Its all buy 2 or 3 for a discount, to reach the price it was before on single items!

After my visit to Ramsey store where I neglected to pickup a receipt, I rang Customer Service to explain I needed to return a pet product but as I was only visiting the area at the time of purchase would it be possible to visit my most local store, she kindly arranged for me to return the Item to Wisbech after speaking to the Manager on my behalf. On my visit to Wisbech today the Manager knew exactly what had been arranged, she was kind and most helpful along with the young lady on the checkout. We are all quick to complain when we have a problem but today at Heron Foods I left feeling a most valued Customer, thank you 😊

Hello, i saw their add on Instagram. Look good. The quality of their tropical food is excellent. My fish love feeding time now. Lovely big flakes I've never saw fish going this crazy since a was a boy. Had fish tanks all through my life. Always bought supermarket flake food. Never again. I'm sticking to

My local Heron is in Great Bridge, Tipton. I went there after work around 6pm on 26.03.25. Whilst i was shopping and I was on the phone 2 men came into the shop walking towards me i froze as 1 looked like he had something in his pocket the other a big bag. They raided the shelves and took what they want! No security at all and now i feel unsafe shopping in there! The 2 female staff could not do anything i felt so sorry for them staff arent even safe working there! Shocked at Heron as clearly they dont care about the staffs safety let alone the customers! This is not the first time its happened at this store! The area is known to all that these theives operate there so why arent you doing anything about it!

I have been going to this store since it was first opened years ago, it's bigger than the Skegness Store. But For the past month the floors have been dirty, the shelves and freezers have more gaps than actual produce, anyone would think they're selling air. The language that I have heard this past week from 2 male staff is disgusting and the don't care attitude they give, with one of them shouting about shutting a kid up when a customers child was upset, I've never seen them work there since this week. What a shame, what WAS a high standard inviting shop, ruined. Won't be coming here again.
