Brilliant service, to collect and deliver the laundry to me at home.

Our washing machine broke down so thought this would be a good alternative. We ordered a collection and they didnt turn up in the specified time.

We requested a refund, and they said they wouldn't return the cash and would be charged a cancellation fee.

This is outrageous as they've failed to meet their obligation. Would never use again.

Good communication from driver who collected the laundry. All deluvered in good time.

Having read the reviews here I was a bit worried. Just got the items back (my first order with them), it's actually quite good. I sent 4 items for dry cleaning, the pick up time was changed but I was informed in advance (I was at home anyway). They send a tracking link for the driver's location 30 mins prior to the pick up. They were delivered on time during the slot selected next day. Items were clean and presented nicely. When I emailed they were responsive (and on chat as well) so I would recommend, maybe they are changing for better?

The actual cleaning of the clothes was fine

The communication on the other hand is awful! Clothes were meant to be picked up by 21.30 they showed up at 23.35. Meant to be delivered next day was told not going to be possible when I asked for a time for the following day I was ignored

Pricing seems crazy do believe we was overcharged

The cleaning quality itself was fine, and the online chat was responsive when I asked questions before placing the order. Unfortunately, everything after that was disappointing.

The instructions were clearly included in the online booking, but I was later told that different instructions were followed based on what was (or wasn’t) communicated to the driver. In my view, the service should be carried out according to the online order, not verbal instructions at collection. The driver also arrived around three hours earlier than the slot I had requested.

As a result, I was charged £130 instead of the £60 shown at booking, with items billed per piece rather than as the service selected. The first-order discount was also not applied.

Customer service initially replied quickly but seemed more focused on closing the matter than understanding it. After I asked for the charges to be reviewed, they stopped responding altogether.

Despite acceptable cleaning, the lack of clarity, overcharging, and poor follow-up mean I wouldn’t recommend this service.

They did not return one pillowcase from my order even though their 'sign-off' sheet declares that two were included. They TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY for the error. My advice - *OPEN THE PACKAGES BEFORE THEY LEAVE. YOU CANNOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE*. Alternatively, just find someone else to do your cleaning

Booked a delivery slot of 19:00-21:00, driver turned up at 15:30 and dumped the bags of laundry outside our door. Half of the clothes that were in a black bag they provided/put them in were still damp and smelt bad. When I emailed to express these concerns I was told “we texted you when a driver was on the way” (they did not) and “we recommend airing out the laundry when you receive it to dry it” - which A. shouldn’t really be the responsibility of the customer who is paying for clothes to be cleaned and dried, and B. wasn’t recommended to me before the service and there’s no mention of these conditions on their website. They have since ignored every follow up email I’ve sent. Judging from the other reviews they are not a good company at all. AVOID at all costs.

Washing machine broke so used a cleaning service. Late on pickup (booked at 13:00 - 15:00, they emailed to say they’ll be late between 15:00 - 17:00 - wasn’t an issue I was in. Didn’t actually arrive until 21:15. Unacceptable.

Late on drop off, was scheduled for 15:00 - 17:00. No communication until I chased and actual drop off 21:45/ 22:00 (Sunday evening)).

Very poor cleaning with a weird smell (damp?? Not all clothes fully dried).

Didn’t check the reviews before using so my mistake but avoid this company. Terrible service all round.

I scheduled a booking with Hello Laundry on Saturday the 8th of November, 2025 at 9am. I had found them via a Google search, and I confirmed on their website that they serviced my post code.

Pickup was set for between 1 PM and 5 PM, with everything to be washed and delivered back within 24 hours. I needed this washing for the next evening, as I was packing for a trip out of town.

They waited until 5:05 PM to let me know that they didn't have any drivers, and according to their representative, they don't service my post code after all. Needless to say that was problematic, as it was far too late for me to find any alternative service to get my laundry cleaned in time. Why they couldn't tell me this when I booked at 9 AM, I couldn't imagine.

There are better services out there. Give your money to a company that cares.

Do NOT use this company! I’m extremely disappointed with this company. I paid £85 for what was supposed to be a premium laundry service, yet my experience has been anything but.

When my laundry was returned, everything was completely damp - I had to hang 27kg worth of washing all over my home to dry it myself. I was charged for 30kg of washing, when I challenged this, I was told to weigh on delivery - which I did (it came to 27kg) however as the laundry was delivered at 10:30pm, I didn’t check inside the bags. The next morning I discovered the washing to be wet, which of course added to the extra weight!!! The collection was 10 hours late, and delivery didn’t take place until after 11pm, which I initially overlooked. However, it’s now clear that the service was not completed properly.

To make matters worse, they damaged both buckles on my dungarees, and despite multiple emails and complaints, no one has responded. The lack of communication and accountability is appalling.

I’m heavily pregnant and had clearly explained how important it was to have this done correctly during an already stressful house move. Instead, I was overcharged for a service that caused more hassle than help.

I requested a partial refund since the drying process - a core part of what I paid for - was not carried out, but I’ve been completely ignored.

Avoid this company at all costs. They do not deliver what they promise, and their customer service is non-existent.

I will be pursuing this issue to get the refund I’m entitled too.

Good service and quick collection and delivery times

This was my first experience with Hello Laundry, and unfortunately I regret ever seeing their name. Usually it takes me 2-3 days to wash, dry and iron my laundry. This was an occasion that I needed to wash my family bedding faster, and there were several dry cleaning items ready to clean, so I thought, why not outsource it, by the claims on their website Hello Laundry seems like a fast and professional service. I had sorted and labelled my items in 3 bags - whites for wash and iron in one bag, bulky duvets in another bag, and coats and curtains for dry cleaning in the third bag. Hello Laundry came to collect the bags with 3 hours delay. They took the bags without transferring into laundry bags and without leaving me any confirmation that they have collected anything from me. 24 hours later I received a strange email that Hello Laundry cannot wash my duvets or coats, but individual cleaning would cost £50 per item. It felt wrong, as their website definitely offers dry cleaning and bulky items cleaning, at different prices, not £50 per item. The email requested that I either approve the prices for these items, or cancel them. I figured that I can dry clean the coats and curtains at my regular dry cleaners, so I asked them not to bother. Two days later, they brought back all my items. They were mixed and matched, whites with darks, coats with duvets, etc., in the same non labelled bin bags which I provided. Not only the coats or curtains were not cleaned - NONE of the orders was done - no washing, ironing, nothing. I'm afraid I have become a victim of a scam company, and now I am checking my credit card account daily to see how they use my account information.

Book 2 slots one for collection and one for delivery. When they missed the collection slot, I tried phoning, but the telephone line wasn’t working. I finally managed to get through to chat online and was told that my laundry would be collected within the next two hours. I said that was no good as I was going out and had specifically booked a slot for that reason. I was then told that they would come within the hour which they did. My delivery should’ve been this evening, but strangely I received a phone call this afternoon to say they were delivering my laundry back. I was out which is why I arranged it for this evening. Very disorganised. I won’t’ be using them again.
