The best doors !
This is second Hale pet door. Just put it in our vacation home. My handy man was so impressed ! He took a picture and saved the box to refer to other clients .

Nice door. Would definitely buy again.
Quality is quite good. The self-framing saves on labour. Instructions are good enough. Overall, a quality product. While it may cost more than the big box store's dog doors, the difference in quality and ease of installation is so significant that even someone as cheap as me saw the value.

We have purchased 4 pet doors,2 for us and 2 for our kids. We love them. Great doors and dogs learn very quickly how to use them. Love the security panel and lock. Added an extra lock near the bottom left side for extra security .

I tried calling both numbers listed to reach hale pet doors. Customer service and sales number one rang disconnected, the other was always a busy signal.

Very nice door
Can't say much about it yet as we've just installed it. I will say it's well made and the instructions for installation were excellent. The sales person on the phone was very nice and helped me save money on my order. I'm very happy with the company in general. I'll know more about the door itself when I see if my dog destroys it or leaves it alone.

Get ready to wait & wait
Long order cycle time, 7 days from order to ship plus Fedex transit time. No notification order was going to ship late. Poor inventory management, item was out of stock. Unwillingness by customer service to refund shipping charges. Never coming back.

Great flap replacements, but expensive!
This is the second time we have replaced the two flaps on our Hale Pet Door. Instructions how to do so are clear and the process does not take long. Just wishing the replacement kit wasn't so expensive!!!

Replacement Flaps
My Hale Pet Door flaps were over 20 years old and needed to be replaced. The Nevada heat had taken its toll. I was thrilled to find that Hale pet door was still a viable business. Ordered my flaps, my 19 year old son easily replaced them along with the magnets and weather strips. I do highly recommend watching the replacement flap video.
