Love this service, easy trip to North Yorkshire and London, good value.
Would be 5 stars but since the departure times changed to 9am and 11am it's not quite as convenient for us

The booking process was seamless, the staff were courteous and professional, passengers were informed any development as the journey progresses and the environment was clean coupled with seat numbering and availability of toilet facilities but there is no enough room for boxes though there are lot of spaces for hand luggage. In all, it was a wonderful experience and l have been using it since 2022 till date.

Two trains in 3 days and no WiFi and coffee machine was broken on both journeys.

It’s 2026, get with the times.

Brilliant staff and service from King’s Cross/Sunderland staff was first class and always asking if I was ok from booking to getting here I’ve no complaints at all

Absolutely terrible service delayed 1&half hours said I’d be in for a partial refund I’ve sent the copy of tickets twice but each time says it’s not showing details which it clearly is so writing this review to say as with other bad reviews over 1 thing or another it’s a terrible service run by unprofessional people pretending to know what they’re doing & provide a good honest clean reliable service which this is definitely not. Keep the refund grand central I’ve made the review instead.

My journey from Bradford to London King’s Cross with Grand Central has been extremely uncomfortable. Coach D has no working air conditioning, and with temperatures around 30°C, the carriage is unbearably hot. There is no ventilation or airflow, making the environment stuffy and difficult to breathe in. All coaches were completely full, so there was no space available to move to another carriage where the AC was working. This meant passengers had no choice but to remain in the overheated coach for the entire journey. For a long-distance service, proper ventilation and functioning air conditioning are essential. This experience was unnecessarily difficult, and I hope Grand Central addresses these issues urgently.

Excellent company, on time, kept abreast of all issues in a timely manner, comfortable carriages, no hesitation recommending for your train travels.🙂

Several delays, seat changes, cancellations. But also these trains are so unclean, in all the services I have been on it’s the same filthy seats and carriages. Sort it out Grand Central

unfortunately you can only order food if you use qr code and I couldn't get on their WiFi the whole journey so take your own food and drink

Really easy booking procedure. Staff visible in the stations snd all through the train.
Train was clean and seats are roomy. Both the train up and down ran in time no issues despite lots of other companies cancelling trains due to the weather

The journey with Grand Central went really well. From departure and arrival on time, to having the comfort of reserved seats; things worked out as planned (which is always nice but can never be guaranteed). Overall a very good experience and I would recommend Grand Central for long distance travel,

The train was lovely and cool considering it was so hot outside! It was clean and welcoming too. The staff on board were very helpful and there seemed to be a few passing through regularly, should any problems have arisen. Thanks for a very pleasant journey

Was great experience on this service.
It all went fine when booking my tickets and there was no problems at all when they were being checked by staff.

It was very useful that there was a buffet shop where I could help myself to something during the journey.

The service I was travelling on was a few minutes delayed along the route but I didn’t mind because it didn’t impact my next plans straight after.

It really was a pleasant journey for me because it was nice and quiet in the Coach I was travelling on.

Extremely comfortable seats, given the choice I would always go with Grand Central because there is so much leg room. Very friendly and helpful staff, too
