Ordered 2 coats to store, had to pay upfront. Had a refund on the one the same day I picked them up. Returned the other one a week later. Staff said they were having trouble with the till so will have to initiate the refund with PayPal through the tablet. She gave me a written receipt and assured me I would receive the refund in 3-5 working days. Never received it. Returned to the store where they said I would have to call customer service(said they weren't able to do this for me!) Rang there and then. He asked for a picture of the receipt as he said there had been no return made. He then assured me that he had started the return and I would receive it in 3-5 days. NO REFUND!! I had to raise a case with PayPal to get my refund, which I have just received. PayPal said go outdoors didn't respond to their complaint.
ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING COMPANY!!!!! DONT ORDER INTO STORE AND PAY BEFOREHAND OTHERWISE YOU WON'T GET A REFUND!!!! THEY ARE A DISGRACEFUL COMPANY

Great in there and abi was great couldn’t ask for more

Staff have gone above and beyond with their customer service. They put by some walking boots for me for 2 weeks which was when I was travelling up from Worcester to attend a hospital appointment at New Cross. They also honoured the sale price even though the sale had finished and technically the boots were full price again. A big thank you to Vicky and Simran.

Vicky was very kind and helpful and made our visit a pleasure.
I was with my son-in-law preparing for an upcoming trip to Iceland.
Vicky helpfully showed us the available choices and took time to discuss my needs. She demonstrated patience, kindness and humour along with excellent product knowledge.
Only after having made my main choices did Vicky mention that she was the manager.
She showed good skill in helping Simran check us out efficiently at the till.

There were four of us who needed new walking boots and the lady who helped us was very patient, helpful and had great knowledge of the products. I’m sure it was a challenge trying to fit four people with very different needs at the same time but we all came away with a pair that we are very happy with.

Great service! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Was served by Ann-Marie she was welcome and chatty and very friendly to our son.

Always a great place, I do believe the quality of clothing and styles are so much better then the high streets! Great shopping experience as always, a lot to offer and great customer service. I was served by Annn Marie who was pleasant.

Fast becoming a favourite place to shop for my outdoor needs, always helpful and very aproachable and patient, Ann Marie was especially helpful and a credit to the company with good communication and a happy smile and willingness to help

I went in the store to look for walking boots. After selecting 4 pairs to try on I couldn't find a sales assistant so had to go back to the tills and ask there. A member of staff who was doing another job was quite polite and phoned another member of staff. I then saw the man he was phoning, propped up on a rail and talking to another memeber of staff. He came over at the request of his colleague. I asked to try the boots in my size. He said he could give me 2 of the pairs to try but the other 2 didn't come in my size so would I put them back. He presently brought me the 2 boxes of boots and put them on the seat. I had replaced the other 2 pairs. I tried on both pairs of boots , trying the ones I eventually bought , twice. The sales assistant was standing a few metres away and staring into space---he made no attempt to discuss the products at all , ask if I needed any more help or information about the products. I had the impression he couldn't care less whether I bought them or not. He didn't appear to have any manners!! When I had decided to buy one of the pairs I took them to the till without any reference to him at all ,as I felt annoyed. As there was a sale on I mihght have spent more time looking round the shop if he had been more interested in me as a customer. The young lady on the till--ABI was quite different, being polite , friendly, helpful informative and interested. It's a great shop --what a shame!

Simran was a excellent at customer service she provided us with all the information necessary and showed us how to get excellent discounts give this lady a pay rise immediately 😀

Simran at the checkout was most helpful saving me a further 10% off the price of my new Berghaus tent. She was also very pleasant and informative.

Denton is a real credit to the store, his knowledge of hiking and mountaineering boots, clothing, and equipment is outstanding and incredibly helpful.

Kieron is another credit to the team, and the manager was also amazing. Overall, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the visit a pleasure. Highly recommended.
