Good variety of products and kind personnel.

All of the staff were helpful, friendly and courteous. The shop layout was good and clean. Good choice of stock great prices. Grateful for the toilets!
My only issue was the loud music at the entrance on the day we visited. I didn’t mind the music per se, but it was just too loud. Once the music stopped, I could concentrate on what I wanted to purchase. I think it was a one off promotional gimmick. Despite that, enjoyed my visit and found everything I needed.

The store didn’t look much different from visiting a few weeks ago. We arrived early to claim a goodie bag as well as to buy some camping gear but we were apparently too late for the goodie bag. It wasn’t helped by the fact that some families had more than one bag each which clearly showed that it wasn’t organised or monitored well. Some people even entered the store to claim the bag and then came straight out after not having bought anything. My children and I awoke early specifically for a goodie bag and some excellent offers for our upcoming camping trip and we came away very disappointed.

Plenty of assistance within the store on such a busy day ,pleasant staff..

Having had an item in mind, I asked staff earlier in the week about discounts on the day of the "event", and was told that they weren't aware of anything extra to normal! I then had a leaflet through the post stating that there was 15% off "almost everything" I duly went to the store this morning (event day) and chose the item I wanted, went to a member of staff and enquired if the discount was applicable to the item I was holding, and was told "Yes, it's off everything" I went to pay, to be blithely to,d, "there's no extra off this as it's already a sale item. I still purchased as I wanted the item ( a Rab gilet at just under £90). However, I could have gone at any time to do that rather than arrange things so I could go there on a specific day. To say I am disappointed is putting it mildly. The staff/management communication seems as dire as it is in many organisations. I would point out that the staff on the shop floor are only doing what is asked of them, and are always polite. It all leaves a rather bitter aftertaste as far as customer service is concerned, and when your customer is left disappointed as they leave your store, they think twice before coming back, and also relate the disappointment to others.

UPDATE: Having spoken to the store, they have offered to refund the 15%, so much better final outcome.

I needed a new pair of work boots and I was really pleased with the help and advice Ade gave me. He even delayed his lunch break to continue to help me find the right pair of boots. I'm so happy with my purchase. This man needs a rise he's great.

Ade was brilliant, he really knew his stuff, he gave some brilliant advice and things to think about which really helped in my product selection. I feel really confident for my expedition!

Good selection , easy to purchase and fast delivery .

Came in looking for hiking shoes for me and my partner. Stock was a little limited due to closing stages of a refit but found 2 pairs of shoes at a good price. We were assisted by Tina who was amazing. She was polite, friendly, patient and knowledgeable and without her help I may of left empty handed. Her customer service was excellent. The young man at the till was helpful and friendly too. Thanks to these 2 staff members it made our shopping trip a pleasant experience rather than a chore.

Visited today to purchase some sport tops and a cap. Found the staff to be very helpful especially Simran, Vicky and Abigail. The store is a good size and there is always plenty of stock and sizes available which is good.The staff are friendly and approachable.

Been today and there’s a lot of work going on in there. It is however a great store. I’m hoping that the fishing section will rival Kidderminster stores. Ann-Marie served me she was pleasant helpful and knowledgeable so 5 stars for her and 4 for the store. Hopefully be 5 after the refurbishment.
