Looking for some walking boots/shoes for our regular Lake District visits with the dogs/family. Excellent range available; almost too good as relied on the advice of the staff to choose a pair! The store was welcoming, tidy and well laid out to find what we were looking for. Caitlin, the staff member who served us was polite, friendly and knowledgeable; how customer service should be- if there is an employee of the month in place, she would be MOST deserving! She’s a credit to the team!

Harry at chequoute was most helpful, pointed us on the right direction for what we needed, held some items whilst we shopped further and was interested in our travels from the USA into Europe. Very helpful & friendly lad.

Waiting at the till to be served, a very pleasant member of staff waved us over to the till, asked if we had found everything we needed and was very professional and polite, honestly if more staff gave as much to their job as Harry, that place would be even better

Harry did a great job, first on the phone, then at the store. Clear, keen, active manner. A pleasure to deal with. Sadly, he and his manager were selling me the wrong product, and I drove for two hours only to find the part didn't fit. In talking to several GO stores trying to put this right, I found a wide variety of abilities, so when you do find a Harry in Stoke, or a Tom in Shrewsbury, appreciate them.

I had to return a tent which had an issue with the small porch air beam. Josh B and his manager Jo were extremely understanding and helpful and offered to either swap over the individual air beam or exchange the entire tent whichever I preferred. It was all sorted very quickly and efficiently. Great customer service and despite the small issue with the porch the tent which is a Berghaus 600xl is an excellent tent and very good value for money.
