GO Outdoors - MetroCentre Omdömen 

Went to go outdoors to look at some new hiking shoes for myself and the staff were very helpful and friendly i asked for a couple different shoes in my size and they brought them out and explained differences between them which was very helpful. When paying I was served by Lewi and he was very kind and patient!

The customer service was second to none.
I needed a replacement tent pole and Lewis and James , with their expert knowledge spent 45 mins fixing my existing tent pole saving me a lot of of money. They laid all the poles out on the floor and worked together to piece it together.
Brilliant service.
It is so refreshing to retail workers who are passionate and knowledgeable about their products.
I would highly recommend this shop .

We did not even know there was a GO Outdoors in Gateshead until today. Came in to get some new hiking shoes and we had Daniel help us who was absoutely brilliant! Came out with twp brand new pairs, can't wait to wear them!

I visited today and my kids (and me) loved the colouring station set up.

Shopping with 2 kids is never easy but this was a life saver. I could get what I needed without them saying I’m bored.

These guys are awesome! The store itself (Gateshead Metrocentre) is a really decent size and is very well stocked. I have a tent that ripped at a recent festival and Josh, who served me, was super knowledgeable. We decided the tent probably can't be repaired, but he wasn't pushy at all in terms of selling me another tent. He listened to what I needed and gave me excellent advice. Got some banging hiking boots too after recommendations from a canny lass (I didn't catch her name, apologies).
Will definitely be stocking up there in future!

Only started using recently but was a great experience overall. Easy to take membership purchased online and then use in store. Really reasonable prices aswell with the membership card.

I've been looking for walking boots for ages, mainly due to my odd shaped feet..... I've tried lots of. places over an extended period of time including LD mountain centre, with no luck. Until I met James at the Metrocentre shop. What a fantastic, knowledgeable and approachable guy. He was so patient and took time to both listen and to explain my different options. I had an idea of what I wanted when I went in and tried on several pairs but James suggested a pair of Meindl and they are perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for new boots- he's a real asset to your firm.

Tom T was absolutely brilliant in helping me find new walking boots. Super knowledgeable about all of the options, what to look for in fit and how to maintain the boots longer term. Really patient and helpful. Very impressed with the level of customer service I received.

This is my 2nd visit to this particular store, the first time was good it was just a straight forward purchase with pleasant staff. Today's visit was special the staff and manager were exceptional the service was second to none, The manager was so helpful and pleasant, give him a promotion he deserves it

Struggled for some time to get a walking shoe with a wide fit. Daniel was knowledgeable and super helpful in finding me just what I needed.Unfortunately I am between sizes and many styles don't come in half sizes.
However On my second visit Tom went above and beyond informing me that my preferred shoe was available in a half size but only through the makers website. What a generous act, putting customer support front and centre, I can't thank him enough.
