Very helpful, friendly and informative staff.
One negative from us though. Given how spread out the various type of jackets are through the store could do with more spread out mirrors. There didn't appear to be any near the ski wear/till area.

We had the pleasure of having Jed assist us with choosing my son’s bike for his birthday. Jed was very knowledgeable and took time to highlight the pros and cons of each model we were looking at. He gave us exactly the support we were looking for. Jed is 100% the reason I brought the Nike from go outdoors rather than a website. Fantastic customer service. Sadly a rarity these days.

Everyone in the store was helpful. The guy that I spoke to in the jackets section about waterproof jackets knew everything there was to know about them and the guy Daniel on the till was great, good service, polite and very helpful. All a credit to Go Outdoors. Well done.

Visited the Canterbury store today with some boots which were leaking. Despite not having my receipt,Dannie checked my address details and located the original transaction. Without hesitation, he offered to replace the boots there and then. Brilliant customer service from him and will definitely use this store again. Thank you Dannie

Staff in Canterbury were very helpful and knowledgeable, especially Adam - thanks for taking the time to answer what was probably a bunch of silly questions to find me the perfect items for my next trip!

Came to buy some walking shoes on Boxing Day. Despite it being very busy, the sales assistant, Dannie, was very quick to offer help. He must have been getting shoes out and offering advice to at least 4 different people at the same time but managed it all quickly and efficiently. After trying on at least 6 different ones, left with some shoes I liked.

It was easy to find what we needed. The member of staff that served us was really helpful at the till his name was Donnie, he went through our transaction and even found an item we bought was on an extra discount.

Adam was so helpful in helping me find the perfect walking boots. He had a great depth of knowledge regarding the boots and bought me so many pairs to try. Nothing was too much for him and resulted in me buying the perfect pair!

Danni & Jemmy made the whole experience a great one. Had a pair of walking boots that were letting in water, we spoke to Jemmy over the phone who said bring them in and we will refund or exchange even though I was just over the year. We went in and saw Danni who was so helpful and exchanged my boots for me. Really professional friendly staff.

Whilst the store itself is friendly, the ridiculous voucher and discount system is just so frustrating! Whether you buy instore or via mail order the “Personal” or generic discounts never seem to actually apply to any items! Having just bought a bunch of “Black Friday” labelled deals after a Black Friday email offering an additional 20% off, we discovered that every BF labelled item was actually excluded from the BF discount. Frustrating to say the least.

The staff are always amazing at the canterbury branch, advice on some walking shoes from Jamie on the tills was invaluable, they are perfect.
