Great experience at Go Outdoors. The staff helped me find exactly what I needed, and it was a great price. They were friendly and took the time to engage with me, which is unusual in a lot of stores lately. I'd happily go back again.

Chris T was incredibly helpful to us when purchasing items for my son’s upcoming trek. Very grateful to him got his expertise. Managed to source most of what we needed from there and at a reasonable price. Thank you!

Thanks to Chris and Claire for their advice and great customer service when I came into store today. With my son doing his D of E expeditions and not being an outdoor adventurer myself I needed to speak to someone who knew what they were talking about and offering so many tips and advice. You don’t always get that at the bigger stores and certainly not online. Thanks so much!!

Went into the store to discuss issues I had with some boots. There was no quibbling and the advice on the purchase of another pair was excellent. Left the shop with the best fitting boots I have ever had after the advice given by Chris.Definitely my go to store now.

This shop is as asset to Altrincham. A really friendly store with a good level of stock. The staff are really welcoming and really know their stuff about the different clothing and equipment. I was served by Claire who was really helpful in getting the right clothing for my next hike sorted.

I went into the Altrincham store looking for a shorter length waterproof jacket and was served by Claire, she was very knowledgeable and found exactly what I was looking for. Claire then told me about the aftercare from the manufacturer- all in all very pleased with service, will buy from here again for sure

Recently paid £27 (£18 each, but buy one get one half price), for 2 camping chairs. Order cancelled not long after and a refund of £9 was stated in email. Never received the refund or chairs.

I came in looking for a pair of hiking boots, the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and the selection of boots on offer was good.

I spent about 45 minutes buying a pair of boots and was served by Claire and Christine, who were both amazing at helping me meet my very specific needs, and very friendly as well. I will be dragging my wife here at every opportunity in the future for our outdoor needs.

I bought some new walking shoes today,I got great advice and help from Jade and Christine who were very knowledgeable about the product.

I went in on a busy Thursday lunch time to look for some walking trousers. Ri and Claire could not have been more knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They answered all my ‘silly’ questions with kindness and patience, something that is lacking in their competitors store in the town. When it was time to pay they realised that I was on my lunch break and made the transaction a super speedy process, whilst still checking I had everything I needed. Thank you Ri and Claire, from now on I will shop here, not at your competitor, you made a difference.
