I run a small family business and we are leasing our second van from Global (handing our previous one back and getting a new one). Our first experience was fine, we were delayed getting it from them and had to hire another van to bridge the delay…fine. Whilst waiting for our second I kept receiving emails from Global’s finance company (ALD) for payments relating to our first van which included the balloon payment for the van (£13.5k). I got in touch immediately and was reassured that everything will be sorted before the payments went out. I kept receiving the invoices as it got closer to the date of payment at which point messages and emails I sent to Global went unanswered. We eventually received our new van after another delay in getting it but we did get it and everything seemed fine. (There was a week where we had both vans which was inconvenient!)
Then whilst we were on holiday (our first family holiday in over a year) we saw that the balloon payment for our first van, we no longer had, had been taken out of our account putting us to the bottom of or overdraft and unable to pay wages for our staff or any other expenses! We ended up cutting our holiday short in order to try and sort finances so people could pay their mortgages and we could continue operating as a business. We were in touch with both Global & ALD to try and recover the money, both of whom “passed-the-buck” between each other. It’s been over two weeks now and we still haven’t received our funds back. (We applied for a direct debit indemnity but are still awaiting that as well). There has been no offer of compensation. This has been the single most stressful experience I’ve had with a company. I’m only sad that we’re tied in with them for a second term.

I had an excellent experience working with Connor and the team. From the start, Connor was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on finding the right vehicle for my needs. He managed to source a Citroën Relay at a very competitive price, making the whole process straightforward and stress-free.
Communication was excellent throughout, and Connor kept me informed every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble, and it was clear he genuinely cared about providing great customer service rather than just making a sale.
I'm extremely pleased with both the vehicle I’ve ordered and the overall experience. I would highly recommend Connor and the company to anyone looking for a commercial vehicle and will certainly use them again in the future. Thank you for all your help!
