Today on Christmas Eve, George delivered a new appliance. George kept me informed of his arrival time. My property is hard to locate but George had no problem finding it. He was very professional, helpful and friendly.

Very good
We are very happy with the entire process, from purchase to delivery. The tumble dryer we ordered arrived at Gillman’s damaged, but they quickly contacted us and rescheduled delivery for just a day later. We are satisfied with the product so far.

Apologises that the item has arrived to you with the packaging in poor condition. Usually the items are packaged in an additional outer cardboard box for protection, sorry if this did not happen on this occasion.
Small table top fridge
I ordered a brand-new tabletop fridge, but what I received was clearly not new. The fridge arrived with deep scratches, dents, removed protective film, and poor packaging. Extremely disappointing experience and misleading sales practices.

Apologises that the item arrived with you in poor condition. The item was ordered directly from the manufacturer and sent on to you in a sealed box. With the item being sent by a courier occasionally items do get scratched or dented in transit. We did offer to replace the item for you the next day.
Superb delivery service
Will and George delivered a new washing machine and big fridge freezer today to a brand new property. They listened to our wishes of where to place the washing machine and ensured it would fit - he went and found a longer inlet hose so that it could go exactly where we wanted. Many Thanks.

Quick and friendly service
The service team set up a service call quickly and checked our warranty for us. All the calls were friendly and helpful. The engineer who visited us was thorough and careful. He called to introduce himself before arriving and during his visit explained what was required clearly. He cleared up after his work and left everything as we wanted.

I had an oven from them which arrived…
I had an oven from them which arrived broken. They wouldn’t help me with an Exchange told me to go via the manufacturer. I contacted the manufacturer who didn’t believe it was new due to it being such an old model. I was left with no cooking facilities for 3 weeks whilst they had to validate it was a new purchase and order the parts. Tillman’s have a legal responsibility to repair or replace but they refused
Today I had a washing machine delivered- purchased form a charity. They delivered it I signed for it and they left. My dad is on his way to install it for me . Before he got here Gillmans were back forcibly entered my property and took it away. They scared my husband as they pushed past him, he is disabled and has learning disabilities so didn’t understand what was going on. They told him they had to take it and he had to let them in and because he doesn’t understand and was panicked he didn’t know what to do
I have just rang to complain about the driver letting himself into my property and her excuse was he probably thought you was out . Thats even worse imagine going out and coming home to find your washing machine gone. How distressing that would be to think it’s been stolen!
Their reply is full of lies and inconsistencies. The driver did not go back to his van he actually drove off . It wasn’t left in my back garden it was delivered to my back door and we was home so it wasn’t left unattended in the back garden like you imply. Your back garden is indeed private property and legally you do not permission to enter it .

Thank you for submitting your review, we have investigated your serious comments and can confirm that the oven was a Beko supplied on the 02/10/25, this was installed as part of the instructions from the charity who supplied this to you, as part of the installation it was was checked and confirmed as fully working. If a Beko appliance does have a fault, the manufacturer has their own team of engineers who come out to fix these or arrange a replacement, we are unable to provide your details to them without your permission, they would also need to speak to you directly to arrange a visit date which was mutual to both parties.
The washing machine was booked in to be delivered on the 21/11/25, in line with the charities instructions we had to complete the installation, the driver called you to confirm he was arriving, you were out so the delivery had to be re-booked, in normal circumstances we would make a charge for a failed delivery, however, this was not done as a charity was supplying the goods for you. This was all explained by the driver at the time.
On the 05/12/25 we attempted to re-deliver, the driver had unloaded the appliance ready, you again requested to leave the brand new appliance in the back garden. The driver left it here while he went back to his vehicle to called the supervisor to confirm that this was acceptable. Permission could not be gained to leave the appliance in your back garden. We were instructed to remove the appliance and the charity would confirm when we are to attempt a third delivery to you.
To be clear, the driver did not force his way into any property, he spoke to you and you requested he leave this in your garden, he was told that we cannot do this, as it must be installed, so he simply removed it again, he did not meet, see or speak to your husband at anytime during the delivery. If he had, we could have completed the delivery and installation for you at the time.
