Also fell victim to the 'fully refundable £100 deposit'.
Paid £100 on Saturday 12th Aug 23 to secure a BMW X1 which I saw on Autotrader. Requested to test drive on Sunday but was told it would not be possible as only two members of staff are working on Sundays and therefore a test drive on a Sunday would not be possible. Accepted this and arranged to test drive and collect car on Monday 14th at 6pm.
Called on Monday afternoon to double check everything was in place and was advised there was a problem with the battery and car wouldn't be ready until Tuesday. The manager offered to deliver it on Tuesday free of charge and told me if I wasn't happy after test drive they would just take car back and refund my £100 deposit.
Tuesday arrived and I was told car would be delivered at 5pm. I was then called to be told it wouldn't arrive until 7pm. At 6pm I checked the MOT history to find that the MOT expired in 7 days time. I called them back and told them. After reminding the lady the advert states 6 months mininum MOT or they will arrange for a new MOT they told me they would put a new MOT on but they wouldn't be able to deliver until 9PM. I explained I didn't want to look at the car in the dark and they told me there would still be plenty of light at 9pm or else I could just go to a petrol garage to look it over. I wasn't happy about this and it prompted me to check out reviews and was shocked when I came across so many negative reviews. I informed them I no longer wanted to proceed and requested a refund. They became quite pushy at this point but I knew I didn't want to take any chances after such incompetence and terrible reviews. I have been chasing the refund for weeks now but I simply get ignored. I have now raised a dispute with my bank so hopefully I will still get my money back.

Please please stay clear of these cowboys, they sold me a dodgy BMW, paid for in cash, no finance sadly otherwise id have stopped the payments. Literal criminal who sell fancy cars but have NO knowledge or understanding of a good car, they are just in it for a quick buck and seem to be making it probably due to their location. I have had a quote of nearly £2000 to fix my car. I am sure this is just a side hustle for other criminal activity but I am going to court with evidence of their utter lack of decency and criminal dealings. STAY CLEAR, shut these con artists down!

purchased here through car finance 24/7 and I rang up about the car which I was told Needed an mot and new back light..

Waited about 3/4 days to be told the car is ready and was awaiting payout which took about another day. I then made arrangements to go and collect the car which I rang in advance to be told they will have it ready.

When i arrived horror struck, the mot was done in house and was DODGEY the rear break light was smashed with sharp edges which is a Failure and the back tyer was bald.

I then started the car to be hit with an error message RDC failure which was the bmws tyer pressure monitoring system when I flagged this up I was told its OK we will send you a sensor and nothing to doo with the car its just tyer pressers I am no mechanic.

The leather interior was washed upon arrival but the car was in bad condition and covered in dust and dirt from the area being ripped up at the dealership. That I get but the inside was also covered while this was being discussed they had a skip delivered which then blocked my car in so was unable to drive away so 3.5 hours wasted and when you look down the drivers side you can see the drivers door has a clear reflection but passenger door is blurry indicating passenger door has needed to be resprayed.

I raised all this with car finance 24/7 and they rejected the car straight away when I provided the photos and evidence and was not happy with the response.

They have then with held the money for the full seven days which car finance 24/7 are now paying out the money and will seek legal action against them if its not payed with in 7 more days.

The company may have nice cars but I assure you just do your research and read there reviews and you will see the compleate con artists and time wasters that run this place if I could leave minus 5 stars I would.

I went to view the car, saw the engine light was on but was assured that it was going to get looked at by a mechanic and serviced. Went to collect the car, light had gone but the bonnet sensor was broken, the service now light was on and the A/C didn't work. I then started to drive the car. There was a rattling underneath, nothing too concerning but annoying never the less. or so I thought. I brought this car to drive to Nottingham for my grandmothers funeral. It made it to Nottingham but the rattling was getting worse. Then on the day of the funeral the check engine light reappeared. The car then completely broke down. The RAC person came to look at it and it is multi engine failure... 2 days after receiving the car! I was now stranded in Nottingham with no way of getting home. I rang Flexy cars several times a day to get a refund. I didn't trust them after all of this and there were times I called and they were rude and getting irritated I wanted to sort it out. I ended up paying 300 to get the car back to them and extra £40 on a train ticket home. I dropped off the spare key and got my money back ( it did take a week to get it back). I would NOT recommend you buy your car here, I wasted a lot of money for a car that worked for two days! Would avoid.

Bought a car 3 days later it was smoking, had faults with both passenger and door side windows, when i asked to fix it on my warranty they have not provided me with the paperwork for the repairs, its been over 2 months.

I do not know what they have done to the car. They had the Car over 3 weeks and have no paperwork for what has been done. they also curbed my wheel and charged me for work that they didnt do regarding the windows

When enquiring and asking about condition of car they advised the alloys were scuffed but they would repair before we collected it as we live a distance away and couldn’t return, this was in exchange for if we didn’t want the car we would lose our deposit.this seemed fair enough and we was reassured everything else was ok with the car. we agreed to visit the next day by train.That night realised only mention of service history in advert was what they had done it and then became extremely worried when reading lots of negative reviews inc those that basically say the service they provide isn’t worth the paper it’s written on and in some cases it’s been found they haven’t even done it, so I phoned them. The car has no proof of service history, it’s a 5 years and 1 month old Mercedes & 1 owner with higher than average mileage (the car should clearly have service history !!) how can 1 owner lose all their service history !! Especially with Mercedes is all electronically but only owners and dealerships can access the information. When speaking to them I knew they wouldn’t give deposit back and this was confirmed but it gave me a real insight into what they would be like if I did have to go back to them for anything. They reckon they don’t care about if a car has service history or not because they look at it & put everything right !! How can they not care, service history is proof the car had been looked after and maintained, I’ve now realised from reading reviews across many websites that major things are wrong with some cars and People saying cars are repaired to last only a few months before they start going wrong I wonder how true this is. Looks like we dodged a bullet and only ended up £100 out of pocket. Also it seems this company was owned by a reputable company but was sold some time ago and some of these positive reviews related to when they owned it not the current owners. You would only know this If you had local knowledge

Picked up audi q 5 brought on the aa website .. drove it back home with numerous faults lots of damage to interior . Eventually gave the car back to finance had a quote from garage of 4500 to get it back to standard .
Just make sure you do a thorough inspection of the car before you drive off ..
Better car sales about without the fibs

Bought a car back in July 21 from Flexy cars, all appeared great from the outside. However quite a few things cropped up in the first year of owning the car. When we took it for its MOT the mechanics asked if the car had been in a crash as the front sub frame was not the right one for the car which meant there was no bracket to attach the exhaust system to. Flexy cars did not disclose this to us prior to purchasing. We were also asked when was the last time the car had been serviced as the filter was a really old one. Flexy cars said they’d serviced it in 2021 in the log book but the mechanics opinion was that this was unlikely. I would avoid this place if you can/ if you don’t have good car knowledge.

The car looks great cleaned ready for collection, but after having the car for a month there is all these little issues. For example, the ISO fix adapters in the car are all falling out. I’ve had my mechanic double checked the car and the brake discs are absolutely rotten. Once the car gets to 66 mph it shakes Quite vigorously.
There is a lot of things that our been out of the woodwork‘s things that I assume can be fixed when you finance or pay for a car, the car to be in a very good condition or at least inspected, and you are made aware of what things need to be looked at everything that is currently causing issues was not explained to me at all.
I’m also waiting for a call back regarding the missed inflation kit also!

I purchased a VW Golf from flexy. It’s been super reliable for the past year and very happy with their service.

Purchased a Ford ranger through t£17k plus VAT. Delivery was supposed to be at 4pm
On a Saturday. It turned up at 10:30pm
It was pitch black so I could check it over properly.
The next morning the ranger broke down after losing 1/4 taken of diesel. £150 to get it recovered. They picked the vehicle back up and they arranged for it to be fixed.
I was then told the car had been on a 400km test drive??? It was delivered back to me a week later where it broke down outside my house.
The car should have been checked over before selling it.
I did get my money back however I am
£450 down due to taxing the vehicle, recovery costs but I’m just glad it’s not my problem any more. The owner was polite on the phone but the company could be run better.
The Ford ranger is still available on their website at the moment so stay clear of that one. I’ve also learnt that AA approved doesn’t mean a thing.

Very bad service. They are as lovely as they can be when they want your money. However, Problems after a week.
Very difficult to get problems sorted afterwards (4months, still trying), and false advertising is put down to admin error, even though they have priced vehicles based on spec and functions advertised. Although I have now had some things rectified, compensation for overpricing has been rejected by owner Bilal Zaheer.
I expect more after spending 8k cash.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They sell really bad vehicles that have had no checks and will scam you out of as much money as possible. I have had to have the police involved as they threatened me and refused to give my money back or the keys, number plates, log book etc for my part ex. Please do not use this company, they are horrendous!!!

Worst customer service I’ve actually ever received. I bought a car from Flexycars after finding it on auto trader. I was supposed to hear from them the day I bought it as to when it would be delivered.. didn’t hear anything so I called them no big deal. I was told my car would be delivered that night at a cost which I then took out of the bank ready and waiting.. I was told they don’t deliver until after 7pm and I live just over 3 hours away so it would be around 11-11.30pm.. again no big deal. I then received a phone call around 9.15pm telling me the delivery man’s car had a flat tire. Of course I completely understood this as things happen so Fahad said he would call me in the morning to rearrange for tomorrow. The next day I hear nothing again.. bare in mind I have actually bought this car and am paying for it to be delivered (cash in hand as requested) I called 3 times the next day to be told Fahad was busy and would call back once he was done with a customer. I never received a call back until later on that night where I was told my car would definitely be delivered that night.. so once again I cancelled my plans so I could be at home to receive it.. by 11.50pm the car still wasn’t here. I then text Fahad to ask how far away he was to be told that the delivery man’s car has broken down again. Isn’t this a CAR STORE? And they break down just delivering? Anyway I asked how far away he was and I would come and meet him.. bearing in mind I was told he left at 7pm to make a 3 1/2 hour journey.. At 11.50pm he told me he was still 85 miles away. From Fahad’s replies “where did you break down?” “25 minutes ago” “no I said where” It was clear by now he had never even attempted to deliver the car and was probably sat in a pub somewhere. I don’t know about you.. but if I have someone waiting for me.. anyone not just a customer.. the FIRST thing I would do is contact the person waiting.. I’m my case I had to contact him to be told he broke down 30 minutes ago. I was told once again he would call me in the morning.. around 2pm after hearing nothing I text Fahad to be told he was trying to source a truck.. this company offers UK wide delivery so not sure why this is such a difficult task.. anyway I asked for confirmation it would be delivered that day and was ignored. I got on to my finance company right away to inform them of what was happening and explain I’ve been unsuccessful in trying to get the car delivered. My finance company called Flexy cars who told them he would call me.. again he didn’t. I called the finance again who spoke to Fahad and he informed them of how this had never happened before and was still trying to deliver the car that day (Saturday) but if not it would 100% be Monday. Monday came and once again I had heard nothing and no car. Car will now be cancelled. Whilst waiting around for my car I decided to look at the ‘real’ reviews and I think I may have dodged a bullet with this place. All the cars they seem to sell look to be bodged up enough to last a few months before things go wrong. Definitely the worst customer service I’ve ever received from anywhere. If they lie about the small things god knows what else will be a lie. Good luck to anyone that gets caught up with this place! I will absolutely avoid Flexy Cars in future.

Promises made but never kept

Where to start with this abysmal dealership. First of all they were really pushy with trying to have me sign all the paperwork to buy the car. Secondly a lot of extras they were boasting about while trying to sell me the car didn't exist when it came around to parting with my money. I remember the day I came to pick up the car I was arriving via public transport and the gentleman on the phone said "get to to Southall station and give us a ring and one of us will pick you up" got to Southall station and I called and they said they don't offer station pick up. There's many other problems I could raise. All in all just avoid this dealership and go somewhere else - they're not the only one selling vehicles.

Sold me a 2017 Ford Focus (Silver, 1L) and the car developed faults (Whining turbo, shaking / rattling exhaust, no tread on driver side front tyre) and had to continually go back to their mechanic to get it resolved. (This was the first complaint I raised and this took 6 calls and two long journeys to get it sorted out)

I eventually returned the car back after 2 months of complaining and going back and forward with them (and the finance company) after finding out that the car had no service history. I bought the car under the guise that the car had full service history and the owner advised me to call ford to verify a sticky note with some information that never existed. After doing some investigation, I find that not only is there no service history, but that the WHOLE ENGINE was replaced 5 days before they bought the car on the 1st February (which they didn't disclose). They lowballed me by offering a service and an MOT to "squash" the issue but this was swiftly rejected and the car returned back (after much stress and numerous phone calls via the finance company) to them. To be honest, the customer service was very good, but the aftersales was shocking to say the least.

In future, please double check and triple check any car you buy from them as you never know what faults may be hidden!!

Don't even think about buying a car from this dysfunctional dealership. From the very start their utter lack of honesty and incompetence made the experience a nightmare. If the car I wanted was available anywhere else I would have not gone ahead but I did. And I regret itl There were many things that went wrong and most annoying was the fact that we were lied to over and over again. For example, a few times we were told the car would be delivered and we would wait and no one showed up or even bothered to text. Another time we were told the car was valeted and ready to inspect and when we got to the dealership the car wasn't even on the lot. We waited 45 minutes and it still wasn't brought so we had to go home. But by far the worst issue was thanks to their staff forgetting to send in the new owner forms to the DVLA, (even though they promised they had sent them), our car was clamped and towed while we were away. We got back to find that the car was all set to be auctioned at the car pound so we only just managed to retrieve it, at a cost of around £1,000. We complained to Flexycars but were told the staff member had left the company and there was nothing they could do except offer to send the papers to the DVLA. These guys will tell you anything to sell a car but beware, they are easily the least professional dealership I've ever experienced. AVOID!
