Delicious high-quality fish every time. Varied selection so each box is a very pleasant surprise.
Options to add/miss delivery, or even to select from a very wide choice of seasonally available produce.

The company was doing very well and still is great. The produce always very fresh. I however miss the langoustines that they used to supply and also don’t get salmon in my pack, unless I order separately. Crevettes are newly introduced and that’s a welcome. Would like a balance of fish and sea food. I do miss fish with bones for curries as they don’t do this. On the whole fish is the freshest I have had.

We’ve been buying our fish from Fishbox for several years now. It’s a brilliant experience to eat a variety of fish that I would never have considered as well as all my favourites. The fish always arrives on time and is as near straight from the sea as I’m able to buy.

The website is very good and easy to use .
The choice of fish is excellent. We like being able to indicate on line which fish we particularly like and those we do not.
When we plan to be away we can use the website to take a holiday from our fortnightly delivery.

Always good quality produce. On the very, very rare occasion that there has been a problem with the courier the excellent fishbox staff have sorted things out.

Fishbox always provide an array of good quality fresh fish, landed locally, smoked locally and tasting delicious.
The choice of fish is way beyond that available in supermarkets and most wet fish shops. And if like me you want to add additional fish on offer to the box there is always plenty to choose from at very reasonable prices and according to the season.

I highly recommend Fishbox. The portion sizes are good on all fish and shellfish. Even the dog is catered for.

It is money well spent with no waste. And I feel I am supporting a local economy.

At first I ordered Fishbox as a special treat as I thought it was quite expensive. However, having subscribed for nearly a year, I realised there were many more benefits than I first thought. The fish comes already filleted and packaged so I usually put them straight in the freezer. I take them out as needed and defrost them in the fridge overnight. Even when I’m feeling tired, it’s so easy to put a couple of fish fillets under the grill and rustle up a quick salad or vegetables. Much quicker, easier and tastier than a takeaway, plus fish is good for you. I love the fact that you get whatever fish is caught and so you get to try many other fish varieties that you never see in the shops - I’ve not been disappointed with anything I’ve eaten so far! Sometimes they throw in other things such as samphire, which I had never tried before. The best thing is the fish is so fresh that you don’t get that ‘fishy’ smell you sometimes get from high street fishmongers. Anytime you want a break, you can put in holiday dates and your subscription is paused. What’s not to love!

I love the variety and freshness of the fish. It is worth every penny!

We love getting our fishbox every month - there is always something in it that you would not necessarily buy from the supermarket. There are a couple of things that we never seem to get that would be nice such as crab or prawns - but in general, it is a nice mix of produce

I first started using Fishbox because I was fed up with buying fish from local shops and suppliers and the fish was contaminated with a smoke flavour and not aways the freshest. I have been receiving a monthly box from Fishbox for the past 3 years and have found there products and services to be first class. As a chef and nutritionist I am always looking for new produce to try and create new recipes which Fishbox has enabled me to do. The other service that Fishbox offers is that you are in control of the fish you receive rather than having to put up with what is being delivered. It is a fantastic company to get your fish from.

Always a nice selection of fish in the box. I'm able to identify which fish I don't want - so I never get something I don't like. The fish are well packed and always totally chilled when they are delivered - even if its in the afternoon on a hot sunny day.
