I had an amazing experience climbing mt.triglav. It was my first real summit using via Ferrara and I am already planning my next adventure.
My guide Mitja was very knowledgeable in regards to the mountain and showed a real commitment to our safety, always checking the weather and had us make the summit in the perfect timing, weather was due to turn and it did right as we returned to our accomodation , All in all a great experience. I can’t fault it

I recently climbed Mount Fuji with Cveto as my guide, and it was an incredible experience. I appreciated his full attention, knowledge, and support every step of the way. The views were unforgettable. Cveto made the climb smooth, safe, and truly memorable. Highly recommended!

Booked a guided ski trip to Hokkaido. Great guide, whole process was very smooth.

Poor customer service

Explore-share team - your reply shows that you still didn't get it! The problem is not what you have explained below. It is easy to turn things at the customer, but problem can never be one-sided, and I hope you start seeing what's actually going wrong from your side! In my case, you didn't even try - so poor customer service!

Facts (I wish I could upload screenshots of our emails but there's no provision so just a summary!):

1. Booked 23-Jul for 8-Aug hike. Due to unforeseen personal issue, I reached out next day 24-Jul (not last-minute change as you claim - please check your mails) for possible reschedule. Both customer service and the guide refused. Customer service sent me "terms and conditions" as response.
2. Customer service offered to "cancel" and refund 50%. Reason they gave was, guide has "blocked dates" and it will be a loss for him (remember it was the very next day I requested for possible reschedule and the claim of him losing business is a bit farfetched, don't you think?).
3. I had paid a few thousand dollars, so I had no choice but to make the trip work. So, I informed customer service that we will stick to booked dates and make it work. (You gave me an unfair choice - your processes are that unfriendly and inconsiderate on the other party!).
4. The guide was truly horrible. Right from the beginning it was clear he had no intention of making us summit. He came up with every reason possible. So, we gave up, quietly stayed at the mountain hut to avoid further displeasure, and returned next day without a summit - a total waste anyway!
5. Funny thing is, I went back to Mt Fuji without the guide the next day morning, reached the summit by mid-day, completed the whole trail in 7 hours, and returned back down by sunset.

I fail to understand how you get such high reviews. When you don't know how to handle legitimate exception cases like mine and display your "terms and conditions" as an inhuman shield against people who find themselves in helpless situations, I still think you don't understand customer service and yours is "poor customer service".

Even though snow kept us from reaching the summit, climbing Mt. Olympus was still incredible. The scenery was stunning, and the guide made the whole trip fun with great conversation and easygoing vibes. An awesome adventure I’ll never forget!

I'd thoroughly recommend Explore-Share. I used them to spend a wonderful five days in the high Alps, climbing seven 4000 metre peaks. Their communication was very responsive. I would certainly use them again.

Giorgi was mindful of my interest in how to approach the mountain, Giorgi said he would match my pace and wait whenever I paused to take a photo. It was clear he truly enjoyed what he did, he was confident and capable in his element yet more than happy to slow down and share the climb with me. During our breaks, he shared parts of his culture and emphasized the importance of maintaining good communication throughout the ascent. When I began feeling the effects of the altitude, I let him know, and we checked in regularly until we decided together when it was best to turn back. I’m grateful I had someone who was not only experienced, but also genuinely present, for both the journey and my safety.

I booked a tour with Fran to Urriello summit in Picos de Europa. It was an amazing experience and Fran helped me to tick another box in my bucket list. He took best care of my security whilst I was able to enjoy climbing one of the historic routes - still impressive what people dared to do about hundred years ago. I also learned a lot about climbing history in the area and met a guy who is really passionate about what he is doing.
He is a great climbing guide and on top of it a great guy to get along with. Much recommended!

Super platform for mountain expeditions and guides

Klaus was a fantastic guide for our climbing day - he picked the perfect spots for a very warm day and tailored our experience. He was able to make the day very enjoyable for our whole group - from my daughter who is relatively new to climbing to my husband and son who are more advanced. Klaus communicated very well, was very safety conscious and made the day a lot of fun! The Explore-Share website was easy to use and gave us the added reassurance that the guide we chose was the right one for us

I had such an awesome experience in Font with the brilliant Leo! He was an extremely friendly and knowledgeable guide, answering any questions and really catering the climbs to our requests. My only regret is not booking the full day session instead! Highly recommend this if you're in the area!

Sylvain was a fantastic guide. His knowledge, experience and motivation to get the best out of his clients and ensuring objectives are met safely are second to none. I wouldn't hesitate to use Sylvain again when I next climb in the Alps!

Exceptionally bad experience . Guide canceled on me day before my trip. I’m still fighting with the company over the payment. Awful, ruined my trip. , do not trust this company . Book a local guide instead .

Ben was a wonderful guide — he’s a very experienced outdoorsman, a thoughtful teacher, and he helped me feel safe all along the climb.

Hama provided an exceptionally safe, enjoyable and successful hike to the summit of Mt Fuji and return to the 5th Station for our family including our 10 year old son! Hama was informative the entire trek providing factual information about Mt Fuji, helped me descend the summit when I was becoming anxious, whilst keeping track of our itinerary and return time to make our next flight! We throughly enjoyed this once in a life time experience and could not have completed the trek if it was not for our professional, respectful guide Hama!! So very thankful and grateful.

We had a great time doing a 2 day climbing trip from Cluj. The trip was tailored to our need, to fit our skills and needs. We had a chance to brush up on some skills and learn new ones as well as climb a variety of interesting routs.
If we are back we'll book again!

Kento and David paid lots of attention to detail to every individual in the group. Communication throughout the trek from organising to finishing was excellent. They both showed high level of expertise hence advice along the way was great. Both have great personalities which made the trek relaxing and enjoyable. There was a lot care and kindness along the was which I am very grateful to. Thank you to both for creating a memorable experience.

I recently booked a guided two-day hike to Mt. Fuji and was incredibly fortunate to be paired with Hama as our guide. Simply put—Hama was the best guide I’ve ever had.

From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, resourceful, and deeply committed to our safety and well-being. He knew the trails like the back of his hand, set a great pace for our group, and always made sure we were well taken care of. What impressed me even more was that Hama is also a registered nurse. When my father-in-law experienced some issues with his toe, Hama stepped in and handled it with care and professionalism.

He went above and beyond throughout the trip—constantly checking on us, making sure we had what we needed, and ensuring we were mentally and physically ready for the challenge ahead. One thing that really stood out was how thoroughly he prepared us before the hike. He did a full gear and fitness checklist with us, making sure we were truly ready.

A word of advice to future hikers: this is a physically demanding hike, and being unprepared can result in your guide turning you back for your own safety. Hama takes this responsibility seriously, and it’s part of what makes him such an outstanding guide.

This was, hands down, one of the best experiences I’ve had—and Hama was a huge part of that. If I could give ten stars out of five, I would. Highly recommended!
