What a fabulous experience we had in Ecuador (Quito, Amazon & Galapagos) with Experium Travel!! This is our seventh trip with Yvette and as usual the attention to detail and her organisational skills are to be applauded. We had a wonderful holiday with a group of like-minded people. The itinerary was well thought out and every day was a new adventure. We thoroughly loved Ecuador - Galapagos itself is a must do bucket list which we have now ticked!!
All in all, it was a great experience, new friends were made and now we are looking forward to the next two adventures with Experium Travel. Thanks Yvette for all your hard work to make everyone’s holiday so memorable.

My two-week adventure through Uganda with Experium Travel was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I arrived, the team were attentive, warm and genuinely hardworking, ensuring every aspect of the trip was perfectly catered for. Nothing was ever too much trouble and everything ran so smoothly, allowing me to fully relax and soak up the beauty of this amazing country.

The accommodation throughout was outstanding — a great mix of comfort, style and breathtaking locations that made every stop feel special. You could tell a lot of thought had gone into selecting each place.

Of all the unforgettable experiences, the highlight was spending time with a gorilla family in the wild — something that will stay with me forever. It was truly humbling and magical.

Experium Travel delivered a tour that felt personal, seamless and deeply rewarding. If you’re considering an adventure off the beaten track, Experium are a must — you’ll be in the very best time with plenty of opportunities you would never have imagined were possible.

Travelled for the first time with this company after being recommended by someone who had travelled with them previously. I was not disappointed! The organisation and running of everything was excellent and done by Yvette, the owner of the company. Her whole purpose for the group was our total enjoyment on the holiday and she didn't disappoint, even adding little extra trips/experiences in along the way. Her energy and organisation is second to none. She has the group well organised! The holiday was fantastic. Such an array of sights. Galapagos Islands have been on my 'bucket list for a long time' so I went with high hopes. It went beyond my expectations due to the arrangements made. What was also good to see is that Yvette uses local guides, thus supporting the local communities.

I have just returned from my first trip with Experium Travel to Ecuador and the Galapagos. It was an absolutely fabulous experience, meticulously planned to offer us so many unforgettable moments. Yvette, the Director of Experium Travel, accompanied us throughout the journey, and at each destination we were supported by knowledgeable local guides. As a weak swimmer, I was especially grateful for the support I received, which allowed me to enjoy all the water-based activities, especially the snorkelling. There were so many highlights—from seeing turtles up close, as well as sharks, eagle rays, seahorses, and even hammerhead sharks, to encountering sea lions on the beaches of San Cristobal and giant tortoises on Santa Cruz. We trekked through the rainforest, explored the dramatic landscape around the lava tunnels on Isabela, and enjoyed people-watching in Quito. The accommodation throughout was thoughtfully chosen, and evenings offered relaxing downtime, spent with others from the group (if you chose to) - no one ever felt left out. I’m looking forward to my next adventure with Experium Travel.

I have just returned from a trip with Yvette, the Experium owner, to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands. It was a fabulous holiday with a very varied itinerary and great hotels or lodges. We were a small group and everyone got on really well together. I’m sure some new friendships were formed. This was my third holiday with Experium and I have loved every on of them so next year Chile here I come.

I have just returned from the most fabulous trip to the Amazon and Galápagos Islands. This trip exceeded all expectations and more. Each day was exciting and different. So much to see and experience. The company always goes the extra mile and ensures that all clients are looked after and catered for. I have been on several trips and never been disappointed. Well done again and look forward to the next one.

An awful lot of pre planning must have gone into organising this 21 day trip to make it the experience/ adventure that it was. It simply was the trip that kept on giving . The company admits that they are not the cheapest but life experience suggests you get what you pay for - in this case the best available hotels / some extremely memorable ( for all the right reasons) meals and a local tour manager plus guides ,accompanying the excellent tour director forming a team that would be hard to better . An additional bonus for travelling with this company is the all inclusive tip policy - when even bathroom breaks are included it makes budgeting so easy . The Silk Road has been high on my bucket list for a number of years so all I can say is a massive thank you to Yvette of Experium travel and the team she employed ( plus my fellow travellers) for making it such a wonderful experience .

I have just returned from my wonderful trip to the Five Stan’s with Yvette of Experium Travel.
This was my 1st trip with this company so was a bit apprehensive b4 I went but that soon disappeared on the 1st day.
Yvette goes way beyond other tour managers, & as a solo traveler that is important very well organized, always there & added extra things on our trip without extra cost.
Which is great everything is included in the price even the tips.
Great hotels, amazing safe food so no one got sick 🤢. We had a fantastic tour guide called Jama who was amazing.

The Five Stan’s wow what amazing countries.
We have seen so much, the people are so friendly & as for the scenery WOW!

I have so many photos & wonderful memories of an awesome trip.

Having done many tours with Yvette and Experium Travel I booked this holiday to the Central Asian countries of the Silk Road in December 2023! The itinerary was very full but that is what I like - don’t want to miss anything! 5 countries in 3 weeks.
Yvette, as usual, had everything planned to the T and was helped along the way by Jama, from Uzbekistan, and local guides in each country. Between them all they made our passage from country to country as smooth as possible!
The countries are hugely varied and we visited the fertile Fergana valley, the Tien Shan mountains and deserts as well as the usual Silk Road cities.
The hotels were always the best that could be found for every stop and our Yurts even had private facilities!
Travel was as comfortable as possible with spacious coaches, plane, a high speed train and 4X4s that coped with the deserts well.
All totally an unforgettable experience and I will be travelling with Experium Travel again in the near future.

Returned from Costa Rica 3 days ago. My 4th trip with Experium travel. I’m a solo traveller in my 70s and this company makes the travel experience so easy. Attention to detail , everything runs smoothly. I can experience far flung countries and adventures that I just couldn’t do on my own.
Yvette the company Director put a really good Costa Rica trip together (as experienced with all of her trips)
We stayed in 2 different lodges and 3 hotels. Travelled through 6 of the 7 Costa Rican provinces, led by Herson the local guide whose knowledge of wildlife, culture,society and geography was unlimited and so enthusiastic. We saw so much. Wildlife is my thing and Costa Rica did not disappoint.
My favourite lodge was Maquenque, what a truly magical place. Awakening early to the jungle sounds, howler monkeys, macaws and numerous birds and cicadas. The early morning mist over the lagoon disappearing as the sun rose. Simply awesome.
I am looking forward to my next trip with Experium to Vietnam. Cambodia and Laos in the autumn.

This was my second holiday with Yvette and I cannot speak highly enough of it. It included a wonderful variety of wildlife including birds, monkeys, caimans, crocodiles, frogs and butterflies. We also visited coffee, banana and pineapple plantations and were able to enjoy some samples. A lovely varied itinerary. Yvette had obviously planned it very carefully including her excellent selection of hotels. We were also blessed with good weather with hardly any rain, which was an added bonus. It is not surprising that her holidays get booked up very quickly. Looking forward to my next one.

The Amazon and the Galápagos Islands. 4/3-20/3 2025
16 amazing nights travelling up in the Andes to a tributary of the Amazon, exploring the rainforest with a local guide. Our adventure continued with 8 nights on the Galápagos Islands. We were an interesting group of travellers all keen to explore and join in. We travelled to the three main islands, Santa Cruz, Isabella and San Christobel, each unique and offering three very different diving and snorkelling experiences. We swam with gloriously coloured fish, gigantic turtles, sea lions and even encountered a sea horse. The water was wonderfully warm and clear. A truly immersive experience. The pace of the expedition was varied with lots to do and see with a bit of down time. Very well organised and lead. An added bonus in the city of Quito on our way home was the wonderful pre-Colombian artifacts. Casa del Alabado. Highly recommended.

We have just completed our first trip with Yvette and "Experium Travel", we went to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands and had an absolutely fantastic time, the trip was so well organised it allowed us to relax completely and really enjoy the exciting and varied experiences that were available. Yvette brings a wealth of knowledge to the trip but also an infectious sense of fun that meant we spent a lot of time laughing as well as marvelling at the fabulous wildlife and culture of this very special country.

This was our first trip with Experium Travel and I can't fault anything. We had the most amazing time in Ecuador, the Amazon and Galapagos. It was truly a 'bucket list' holiday, with close encounters with sea lions, marine iguanas, all sorts of sea birds, fabulous snorkelling where we saw huge green turtles feeding, hammer head sharks, sea horses, penguins and the most beautiful tropical fish. The hotels were unique and characterful, in fabulous locations and our guides so informative. I'm still pinching myself that we were there. Thanks to Yvette for all her organisation skills and for looking after us, nothing was too much trouble and she made sure we made the most of every minute.

As a veteran of many tours with Experium travel ( all enjoyable) this may yet prove to be the best itinerary Yvette, the director of Experium Travel , has currently put together. Whatever your interest- culture in Quito , a bit of exploring in the Amazon rainforest or simply watching / photographing /swimming with the amazing fauna from 3 very different Galápagos Islands this trip has it all, along with Yvette’s customary attention to detail . Can’t recommend this trip /company highly enough.

Back home after an incredible journey travelling through Sri Lanka! We explored ancient ruins, UNESCO world heritage sites, Buddhist temples, national parks, connected with the Indigenous Veddas, wildlife safaris, spice gardens, waterfalls, tea plantations, stayed in luxurious hotels to unique glamping experiences, all the while savouring delicious local dishes. The warm welcomes, friendly greetings, and genuine smiles from everyone we met made the experience even more special.

A huge thank you to Yvette Barnett, owner/tour manager of Experium Travel, for orchestrating another expertly guided tour and helping me explore the beauty of Sri Lanka. With Yvette at the helm, I always feel in the safest hands, which is why I have embarked on five tours with Experium Travel and have four more planned between 2025 and 2026. This commitment stands as a testament to my unwavering trust, confidence, and sheer delight in the outstanding experiences she curates.

My wife and I have recently returned from our first holiday with Experium Travel. This small group tour was a two week trip around many of the sights and experiences that Sri Lanka can offer, and was led by the owner and Director of the company, Yvette Barnett. She demonstrated strong, clear leadership with an interesting, informative and action packed programme. Her aim is to include not just the ‘everyday’ tourist spots but different experiences (hence the name). For example, we stayed in top-notch hotels, basic glamping tents, a converted tea factory and very up-market glamping tents. Expect early starts to beat the crowds and tweaking to the programme to suit changing circumstances that invariably occur.

At sunrise, we hiked up to the summit of the stunning Sigiriya Rock; we rode on bullock carts; were paddled across a lake to a village to learn and get involved in local cooking; we got up at dawn to watch the local fishermen land and prepare their catch; we took 4-wheel drive excursions to see and photograph the flora and fauna; we visited temples and antiquities; we met members of the indigenous forest dwelling Veddha people; we travelled up through the hills on a superlative train ride and even had a privately chartered catamaran to go whale watching.

Our Sri Lankan guide who accompanied us throughout the trip was outstanding and talked to us about many aspects of life in the country including religion, education and history.

All in all, a very enjoyable and full-on trip.

I have just returned from Sri Lanka with Yvette, owner/director. I have travelled with her a number of times, this tour was well organised, accommodation was very good, a well planned and interesting tour of the country. Yvette always travels on each tour, on hand to advise, amend where necessary and seeks to achieve the best for all of her customers. Another excellent experience.

The was my first time with Experium Travel and I wasn’t disappointed, Yvette was excellent at organising the holiday and her attention to detail was second to none. Our accommodation was superb along with the cuisine and we got to sample the very best that Sri Lanka has to offer. Our local guide spent the whole time with the group informing us of the islands history and what to expect and see at each location. I would definitely recommend Experium Travel to anyone wanting to travel the world.
