Just back from my 3rd trip with Experium Travel. Quite by chance, each of the destinations were new ground for the Co.
Three very different tours, The 5 Stans, Colombia and Ladakh, all exceeded expectation and, after having some incredible experiences, left me with amazing memories that will last a lifetime.
The ground teams used, are certainly aware of the standard of itinerary, hotel (and the location of) food, drivers and guides that are expected and Yvette obviously does her research too.
Gratuities are often a thorn in the side, especially with us Brits but, they are part of escorted travel and being included in the price of the holiday, makes life easier for all concerned.
Experium Travel obviously has a good reputation for paying the local guides, porters, waiters, drivers, toilet attendants et al and therefore the service is very good, well done Yvette, it makes such a difference.
I find the holidays are good value: excellent hotels in great locations, more than enough room in any form of transport involved, plenty of great food, no paying for drinking water and small groups, 20 being the maximum.
I really don’t know how Yvette keeps all of her plates spinning but am very happy she does and look forward to the future trips I have booked, for next year.

I’ve just got back from the Himalaya with Experium Travel. The holiday was nothing short of extraordinary, and much of that is due to this exceptional small holiday company owned by Yvette. To the very first enquiry to the final farewell, every detail was handled with care, professionalism and passion. A beautifully balanced itinerary offering both breathtaking adventure and moments of quiet reflection. We saw snow leopards, yes plural, in their natural habitat. This is mostly due to her selecting the right time and location to enable this with a little bit of luck thrown in. I’ve traveled with Yvette before and wouldn’t hesitate to travel with her company Experium Travel again.

Wow! Chile was everything you ever learned in geography at school on steroids. Spectacularly scenery from the Atacama desert, snow-capped volcanic Andes, salt plains, lakes, glaciers, national parks & elusive wildlife, we saw it all. The trip was well put together making the most of every minute but still with time to enjoy the hotel pools at the end of the day. The hotels were spot on for each area - an important element.
My 3rd Experium adventure with 2 more booked - can’t wait!

You might think that going on a cruise to Antarctica means that you should book direct and not use the services of Experium Travel. Think again. Firstly for the cruise itself, Yvette managed everything for us, picked the most amazing company (Quark) and ship for this part and ensured all details were provided on time (there was quite a lot of admin involved!) She made sure the group ate together and were together for the excursions. The main benefit for using Experium was the pre and post cruise details - from tours of Buenos Aires and Ushuaia, selecting superb hotels and making sure everything ran smoothly even when a proposed air traffic control strike threatened to derail us. Definitely recommend this tour to see the most remarkable part of the world - truly the trip of a lifetime.

This was my 8th tour with Experium but my first foray into South America. Having just finished putting my photo book together I am am still in awe of how much we managed to pack in. I still feel like I have had five holidays rather one as each part of Chile we visited was so distinct in it's own way but all equally stunning. Easter Island with the Moai, the myths and legends was captivating and ending on a Polynesian island in the middle of the Pacific was perfect. As usual, Yvette had put together a full itinerary which ensured we saw the best of the both countries, stayed in the best hotels available for what we were doing and always had a suggestion for dinner whether beachside or a vibrant city eaterie. I loved it so much, Peru is booked for 2027.

The last 5 weeks have been the most amazing adventure travelling with Yvette, Experium Travels’ Director, who accompanies all of her trips. I ‘back to backed’ 2 of her trips, and included an optional add on; Antarctica, Chile’s Atacama and Southern Patagonia, and Rapa Nui (Easter island). Each day bought a new experience whether it was seeing wildlife, admiring fantastic scenery, sunrises, sunsets, seeing the Moai and hearing about myths and legends, every day has simply had the wow factor. Yvette’s organisation is faultless, even when we were threatened with an airline strike en route to Antarctica, she calmly advised us what to do with our flights, whilst she reorganised hotel bookings for a group of 20 in 2 cities, and arranged an additional trip to the National Park for us too. Nothing is ever too much trouble and ensuring all of her small group have the best possible experience every day is a goal she constantly thrives and achieves. She chooses lovely hotels in the best possible locations; tropical gardens, sunset sea views, picture windows overlooking mountains, the city centre ones are well placed for activities and restaurants. Her local tour guides are always exceptional. Yvette’s client base are a mix of solo travellers, friends and couples, all are like minded people with a love of travel who are pleased to meet up again with a previous fellow traveller from a previous trip. Experium’s trips are well planned and organised, places fill quickly and we are already looking forward to what itineraries will be offered for 2028!

Just returned from a fabulous trip to Chile. From the tip of the Atacama to the toe of Patagonia we enjoyed amazing scenery, fantastic food & in the company of other like-minded travellers, knowledgeable guides and of course Yvette who made sure the trip exceeded our expectations!

I recently returned from an amazing Experium holiday to Antarctica .
The ship was ocean explorer and it was run by Quark,it was an everything id hoped it would be,there were 20 experium travellers on board with a total of 130 passengers, so we quite a presence.
The cabins were spacious and had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable, the food was outstanding.
All the excursions from the ship were well planned,although a few changes had to be made due to the weather as the saftey of everyone is the most important thing.
We were kept up to date with any changes and still had loads of opportunities to go by zodiac to the different areas of Antarctica, lots of penguins,seals,birds,humpback and orcas were spotted ,it was a sight to be seen.
As always Yvette planned the whole trip with military precision, and the trip was was chosen very carefully to see the best of everything, I cant speak more highly of Experium, Quark,Ocean explorer and all the staff which made this such a memorable trip

I have recently returned from the most amazing trip to Antarctica. Yvette chose Quark expedition cruises for this trip and it was such a good choice. We travelled independently to Buenos Aires where we had a city tour before transferring to Ushuaia where we did a lovely tour in Tierra del Fuego. We then boarded our ship the Ocean Explorer, and it was a fabulous choice. Because it only takes a smaller number of passengers we were able to go out on the zodiacs to explore twice each day, sometimes taking walks on the islands and mainland of Antarctica. We saw so much wildlife, so many penguins, seals and whales, can't believe not long ago I was on a zodiac surrounded by humpback whales, and the scenery is stunning. The crew were great, so helpful and friendly and all the expedition staff made sure we got the most out of this experience. As Yvette says, do it once and do it right.

This was the most wonderful experience, expertly crafted by Yvette, Director of Experium Travel, it’s like going with your mother she looks after you every step of the way no matter where in the world she takes you, this trip to Antartica surpassed any other trip I’ve done, from pre expedition in Buenos Aires to Ushuaia a lovely little town at the end of the world Yvette takes care of everything, the expedition itself with Quark was truly wonderful beautiful small ship the Ocean Explorer 130 guests and around 105 crew you are looked after every step of the way even if you get the Drake Shake during the 2 to 3 day crossing it’s worth it, seeing penguins seals whales etc was truly amazing, lovely clean cabins and food well you won’t go hungry I put on 5kg I was fuming when I jumped on the scale in work but even if you get sick on the ship Yvette still comes to your aid and the ships doctor is always on hand, the staff and crew on and off board cannot do enough to help so I say if you can stretch to this then do it you won’t regret it and I’d look no further than Experium Travel wherever in the world you decide to GO

What can I say? A magical trip which did not disappoint. Yvette was always on the ball and was quick to inform us about rebooking our flight from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia due to possible strike to make sure we did not miss the ship and organised an optional trip to Tierra del Fuego Park in Ushuaia and also managed to get hotel rooms for all of us for one night in Ushuaia. Travelling with Yvette is a pure joy as one does not have to worry about anything as she is an expert in sorting out any problems arising from unforeseen circumstances.

Antarctica with Experium and Quark - absolutely the most mind blowing and wonderful experience I could ever ask for. Getting there takes time - it is a long long way , but even with the Drake Shake this trip is a must for anyone who can find the time and money to do it. It is expensive, but the value for money is exceptional. The place is peaceful, beautiful with such clear air and the most amazing wildlife. The Quark ship was the perfect choice, with only 130 passengers and 105 staff, comfortable cabins cleaned twice a day, fabulous food, fantastic expedition staff with specialist historians, geologists, and the self proclaimed bird nerd giving interesting talk on sea days and in the evenings. The experiences of being out on the zodiacs and kayaks was amazing and we were so close to the whales we could smell the ‘blow’. Do the polar plunge… it is not fun but such an achievement. Yvette as ever organised everything for us, including a quick tour of Buenos Aires and a trip to the End of the World in Ushuaia. Now I want to do more polar exploring!

SRI LANKA January 2026

This trip was another coup for EXPERIUM travel! We spent 2 weeks exploring the west coast, the hill country with its tea plantations & finally the south coast. Sri Lanka is so green & the people so welcoming & smiley! As always we stayed in superb accommodation, which included 2 glamping opportunities & a stay in a colonial ex tea plantation building which has been converted into a wonderful hotel, with afternoon tea on the lawn and finishing with a wonderful hotel in Galle right on the beach! We saw lots of different wildlife on our trip, notably many elephants!! The food was excellent in all the accommodations!
As is usual with EXPERIUM travel which had an excellent driver & his supporting other half, who took such good care of us all! EXPERIUM always uses very knowledgeable guides & this trip was no exception!
I had longed to go to Sri Lanka for many years & this superb trip with EXPERIUM did not disappoint!!

Have recently returned from the most amazing trip to Nepal and Bhutan with Experium. As ever Yvette created a masterpiece of a tour…and worked tirelessly to ensure that everything ran like clockwork. I love the great rapport she has with the local guides and drivers and that ensures her travellers have even better experiences. This felt like several holidays rolled into one - vibrant Kathmandu, a flight around Everest, landing on Annapurna Base Camp, watching the spectacular sunrise from Mala lodge and viewing rhinos in Chitwan. Then for me the highlight - our visit to Bhutan and the trek to the incredible Tiger’s Nest monastery.
Full marks Yvette for creating a trip of a lifetime ….cant wait for my next trip with you.

It’s taken me a week after my return to digest all the amazing experiences I had on the trip to Nepal and Bhutan. Yvette always organizes a full itinerary, with a few extras thrown in, which makes it more exciting and enjoyable! Seeing Everest was a amazing, landing in a helicopter on ABC in the snow was amazing, spending the day with the villagers and children was amazing, seeing a Rhino so close, was amazing, visiting such beautiful monasteries and buildings was amazing-it was all so amazing!! Plus trekking up to the Tigers Nest in Bhutan, well that was truly an amazing experience and a huge challenge, but I did it! I highly recommend Experium Travel! So much so I am booked on a few more 😊

I’ve recently returned from Experium’s trip to Nepal and Bhutan. This was my third trip with Yvette and what a trip it was. The itinerary was very well planned by Yvette to include a huge variety of experiences - from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu, lovely Pokhara, the wildlife of Chitwan National Park and, in between, an optional flight around Everest and a helicopter flight to Annapurna Base Camp. Oh - and an optional paragliding experience (my first ever). We then flew to Bhutan - such a lovely country - but the highlight was the trek to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery. I cannot speak highly enough of Experium Travel and am looking forward to my next trip in 2026.

Trips with Experium Travel mean truly experiencing every Country you visit, something Tour Director Yvette feels very strongly about, she is passionate about travel and wants every person she takes along with her to make the most of every day.
This holiday was one of contrast, busy cities to calming mountain villages, boat rides to trekking through the Nepal countryside. Yvette balances the itinerary perfectly.
It was a pleasure to spend two weeks with like minded people, overseen effortlessly by our amazing guides who were so knowledgeable and proud of their Countries. We we really did make memories to treasure forever.
