Booked tickets on the day for an excellent price. This website is easy to use

Through a link on a hotel website we booked an airport transfer complete with flight details and suggested pick up times. They took our booking and money then gave us pick up times 2 hours after our arrival, and then a pickup at 3:30 AM for an 8:45 flight (45 min travel time to Gold Coast Airport). They wouldn't change our booking and have refused a refund. Not the way to Experience Oz!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Experience Oz has been so frustrating that I feel obligated to warn other travelers.

While visiting Australia, I purchased a $220 tour for the Puffing Billy Railway and Healesville Sanctuary. I intended to take the tour on Saturday, October 3. However, Experience Oz insists that my tour was booked for September 26, essentially the same date I made the purchase. I repeatedly explained that September 26 was my booking date, not the date I intended to take the tour.

What followed was an exhausting series of emails trying to resolve the issue. I contacted Experience Oz well before my intended tour date, explained the discrepancy, and eventually requested cancellation and a full refund. Their representatives repeatedly told me they were trying to contact the tour operator and were awaiting approval to process my refund. Days passed with no resolution.

Then, after all that correspondence, they informed me that I was considered a "no-show" for the September 26 tour and that my refund was denied.

I repeatedly asked them to investigate how the disputed date had been assigned to my booking. Instead, they continued referring to what their system showed without satisfactorily addressing my concerns about the original booking process.

What bothers me most is the complete lack of accountability. I purchased the experience through Experience Oz, yet I was left navigating an unresolved dispute between their company and the tour operator. I spent part of my vacation, and additional time after returning home, sending emails and trying to get answers.

In the end, I lost $220, never experienced the tour, and received no refund.

I understand that businesses have cancellation policies. What I do not understand is why a legitimate concern about a booking discrepancy was never properly resolved despite repeated requests and extensive correspondence.

**My advice: Be extremely cautious when booking through Experience Oz. Double-check every detail, save all your documentation, and do not assume customer service will help you if something goes wrong.**

I cannot recommend this company and will not book through them again. What should have been a wonderful Australian experience became one of the most disappointing customer service experiences of my trip.

This experience was amazing, my fiancée and I loved it. Pete was a great guide with awesome knowledge. No complaints. Absolutely worth every penny!

I booked some full day tours n had abit of a problems redeeming the vouchers but they staff were very friendly n so helpful

Made several bookings for tours and activities over the last week through Experience Oz. All have been easy to organise and confirmation email sent to me immediately.
