The gym is great and for me , the best in Winchester however I've only started to reuse it again after a considerable time so at the moment I'm still finding it as something of a chore but hopefully it won't be too long before I start enjoying once more and begin finding the experience addictive again. To be honest the hardest bit for me has been trying to get my app to work to gain access but having said that I can't recommend the gym and staff highly enough.

Energie Feels like home

This place makes me fell so good!
I absolutely love energie fitness winchester. I highly recommend anyone looking for a gym that makes you feel so welcome. The staff are so lovely and the place just has such a good comfortable vibe. As a bigger girl I've always felt awkward in other gyms when working out but not here. I instantly loved the place as soon as I walked in. I now look forward to my gym days.

I have been going to Energiefitness Winchester now for 4 years- never would have considered myself a gym person, but all the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Going regularly means that I see familiar faces and there's a real sense of community. I love that they also change and look to upgrade equipment, listening to members.
Honestly, it's a fab place to train, workout, learn and have fun. Do something for your own health!

I recently hit my 80kg bench pr for 1 rep straight up, then jumped up 85kg half rep but close to full repetition. Got a sick pump everytime there so I recommend it

Be careful with these people
Be careful with these people, my son cancelled his membership in person at the club handed in the fob etc they were really nice , they stopped sending emails etc making you think it's all settled but never cancelled the direct debit, after 4 years we spoke to them and they said yeah you've never been in since you handed in the fob , but you don't have evidence you cancelled anything so we are keeping the money . BYE they have also done this to a friend so that's nearly 3000 pounds they have scammed and won't return

We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns. As we discussed, we require notice for membership cancellations, as outlined in our terms and conditions. This process was understood and completed correctly in the member in question’s previous memberships.
We have never processed cancellations in person and require written notice via email or through our member portal to ensure clear records. Unfortunately, we did not receive a cancellation request for this membership, which is why payments continued. We always recommend reaching out as soon as possible with any payment concerns so we can address them promptly.
A place to unwind and exercise
I am a regular at Energie, I thoroughly enjoy my time there.
The staff are excellent, the facilities are great, the only issue is that everyone else thinks this too so it's very busy alot of the time.

Membership
What I thought was a lovely gym, is not.
I've only used the gym a handful of times due to an ongoing long illness. The staff have no compassion, no understanding of the real world and things can happen that can impact on someone's wellbeing.
The staff have not been helpful in my situation.
The biggest frustration is, I can not find anyone higher to speak to other than the manger at said branch.
So as a company I don't find them helpful.

We're really sorry to hear that you feel this way. We truly aimed to support you as best as possible with your cancellation and even extended your freeze period to allow you more time.
As a business, we do have to follow our terms and conditions, which include requiring evidence when a membership commitment is cancelled early. These policies are in place to ensure fairness for all members.
That said, we always want our members to feel valued and supported. If there’s anything further we can do to assist, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and it’s a fab place to work out! The facilities are great and they offer lots of classes!

Fantastic gym!
I tried a few gyms before I joined with energie fitness Winchester, and I can honestly say I haven't experience such fantastic service and community as I have there. The staff are so welcoming, always there to help and constantly learning and improving themselves to give members the best experience. The class are so much fun. Definitely would recommended joining!

Pros & Cons of Energie Winch
Pros:
- Staff can be friendly
Cons:
- Equipment isn't sufficient to exercise every part of your body
- Even if you win gym competitions, free membership prizes are only advertised and not actually given
- Gym is often unclean and equipment is often broken taking weeks/months to get fixed
- New equipment is promised but never turns up or different equipment to what was advertised is available (eg; hack squat advertised - V squat actually in gym)
- Constant leaking from ceiling (allegedly condensation) around majority of gym, getting dripped on when exercising

Thank you for your feedback. We've attempted to reach you by phone regarding your concerns.
It’s a shame to hear you feel this way surrounding our prizes after you were able to claim one of our Myprotein bundles for our lifting competition. We strive to be transparent on social media and consistently deliver on our advertised promises.
Regarding the equipment, The Primal Performance Series ISO Hack Squat, as advertised, is part of our equipment lineup aimed at providing a comprehensive workout experience. We've had really good feedback from a majority of our members that we are continuing to invest in the club, listening to feedback and increasing the variety of our equipment.
Our protocol for equipment maintenance includes logging repair requests within 24 hours to ensure prompt resolution. While occasional delays from suppliers may occur, we make every effort to minimise any inconvenience to our members, and we're proud that all fixes have been completed in less than a month.
Maintaining high club standards is a top priority for us, and we're committed to providing a clean and safe environment for our members. Our team conducts deep cleaning of the club at least once a day, with hourly gym sweeps to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld.
Thank you for bringing up the issue with our roof. We promptly addressed the condensation issue once it was recognised and took appropriate measures to ensure the safety and comfort of our members.
It's unfortunate to only now learn of your concerns after two years of membership, as we could have worked together to find a resolution or clarify any misunderstandings.
