Excellent gym for great value
I’ve been coming to énergie for 2 years, and am amazed at the value compared to other gyms in the area. They have every piece of equipment I’ve needed, it’s never overly busy and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Good little gym
Been going to this gym for over 5 years. It was Fitness First before then converted to Fit4less then was re-brand to Energie Fitness.
Overall a good little gym. It has most of the equipment you need. Gym goers and staff is friendly. It does get very busy during lunch hour. Men changing room can get very crowded and waiting for shower isn't uncommon. But what you get for your money its very good. You won't find another gym in the area for that price.

Would recommend!
Overall, the gym is great and I recommend it to my friends and colleagues.
Pro's
- plenty of high quality equipment, very rarely need to wait for anything
- clean gym space
- no sign of a gym "clique"
- great value, especially given the location
- never had to queue for a shower
Con's
- functional classes take up "general" areas in the gym which can sometimes mean it's awkward to move around them (especially when it's circuit-type training)
- personally I would love more lunchtime spin classes!
- ladies changing room can be a little dirty underfoot sometimes, nothing awful but hair and products could do with being swept/mopped more often

Best gym I've ever been
Best gym I've ever been! They really try to help you succeed and reach your goals! The equipment you need for weightlifting or cardio etv is all here and they constantly update them. We recently got new boxing equipment and classes!

Energie fitness is a great choice for office workers.
Energie fitness is a great choice if you live/work nearby. It facilitates all needs, and staff are nice and helpful.
The cons:
- It's quite small. You will wait for machines at peak times, but if you manage to avoid those hours there's usually just 5-10 people.
- The facilities don't always work (showers/water fountain). However this is rare.
- To get to the changing area after you enter you need to traverse the entire gym.

Affordable, but that's about it
Most affordable gym in the Old Street area. The gym itself has plenty of equipment, but the intermitent showers and unapproachable staff really let it down.

Showers and drinking water always have…
Showers and drinking water always have issues.
Changes rooms aren't spacious enough during peak times.
But decent value for money vs the membership fee.

Water fountain is slow
Water fountain is slow, there are not enough machines in peak hour, not enough group classes, men’s changing room is always dirty and missing coat hangers

Great little gym
Great little gym, some more floorspace would be nice as classes take up a lot of the functional space, if a class is on I sometimes struggle to find space to do all the things I want to do, otherwise a great spot.

When I came in to register the staff…
When I came in to register the staff were so engaging and helpful it made me feel immediately at ease. I mainly do the lunch time classes and the instructors are really helpful and encouraging which actually makes me want to come.
