I've been a member for nearly 2 years…
I've been a member for nearly 2 years and still really enjoy it. The instructors are really helpful, the classes are a good mix of men and women, I like how we go outside in the summer to keep it interesting. The fact that the gym is smaller than some is a big advantage because you get to know so many people and feel part of something. If the showers get a make over, I would give 5 stars!

Not bad at all..
Not bad at all...
It's a solid gym for everyone, no matter how fit you are, how much weight you can lift or how you look
Could definitely use a few more machines
A few people in there need teaching how to re-rack weights
Apart from that its very good. Easily accessible and a reasonable price

Brilliant....
Brilliant. Friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Augustus’s classes are great - really good variety and time taken with individuals to make sure exercises are performed correctly. As with Josh and Nicola too... but most of my classes have been with Augustus. Helping me physically and mentally - great team. Thank you

Great range of machines
Great range of machines, clean and tidy. Isn't always dominated by men solely and you can workout in confidence. People do their own thing and ask if you've finished with a certain machinery and they are full of smiles. Great atmosphere to be working out in.

Great value
The gym has everything I need with lots of equipment. The changing rooms are a bit of a let down with broken lockers and the showers are not brilliant which is why I give 4 stars.
Overall great value for the monthly membership.

Dirty
Dirty, run down equipment (dumbbells for example) too hot for cardio in the evenings, broken machines not getting repaired for a long time, hand sanitizers are rarely filled up, they have had liquid in them once in my 8 weeks of being a member

Location and price are good but some equipment is starting to get worn and we have seen a high turnover of staff over time - the current crop are great however.

Great gym
I've been a member of Energie fitness for around a year now and I'm really enjoying my time there. The staff are really friendly and always there to help if need be.
The only change I'd like to see is staff members redirecting those waiting for a class to start away from the freeweights and warm-up floor. Because this is close to the class room people tend to congregate here waiting and it makes it extremely difficult for people to warm up or do their workouts.
A similar issue happens when the personal trainers are coaching in this area - they take up several mats for one client meaning other people exercising cannot use that space.
Apart from the above inconveniences, I enjoy my workouts at Energie Fitness

The deterioration of the equipment has…
The deterioration of the equipment has gone too far now, especially the cable machines. Hooks and handles are often missing and left elsewhere by other users. Staff should check frequently and return all pieces and return benches etc to where they should be. Equipment feels grubby as well. So, not good anymore but fee remains the same!!

Overall the gym is good. Only 1 watt bike, when there used to be 2? Could do with 2. Better lockers, some of the door locks need repairing.
