Great gym, clean facilities, good equipment and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

I joined this gym 2 months ago, i wanted to leave as i was starting college and could no longer afford it, i rang them days before my next payment was due in order to cancel it, they never answered until the next payment was due and I was told that I had to pay for another month to cancel. I explained that I tried to get in contact but they never got in touch with me until after the payment was due, they then said that they can cancel until I pay. I’m starting college and money is tight. It’s an alright gym but absolutely shocking trying to cancel.

I joined Énergie Fitness Drogheda last week with high expectations, but unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing.

On my very first day, I used the shower and the water was so hot that it burned me. This is a serious health and safety concern that should be addressed immediately.

Another major issue is the lockers. Most of them are broken or out of service, making it difficult to safely store personal belongings while working out. I raised these concerns with staff on several occasions, but I was simply told there was nothing they could do.

I understand that maintenance issues can happen, but the lack of action and the poor condition of the facilities are unacceptable. As a result, I decided to cancel my membership only a week after joining and requested a refund.

I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves the facilities for future members.

The pricing is slightly on the higher side, and the washroom hygiene could be improved. The space also feels cramped, especially since the gym is spread across two floors—having everything under one roof would make it better. However, the staff is friendly and supportive, and overall the experience has been good.

Firstly, I’ve noticed that the water machine has been out of service for the past four months. Having access to a functioning water dispenser is essential, especially for maintaining hydration during workouts.

Additionally, I’ve observed that many pieces of equipment are broken or damaged. This not only affects the quality of workouts but also raises concerns about safety for members using the equipment.

For anyone scrolling through, they will NOT tell you about the charges that go through, normally a gym messages you about the charges to you account, this one doesn't, so it was a while before I noticed that the gym that I didn't go to anymore and I called to cancel my membership when I left was still charging me for 5 months after I did.

After emailing the gym, my problem was completely ignored and on top of that I was told that yet ANOTHER charge was to be made to my card for a gym that I haven't gone to in more than 5 months.

And I'm not making this review so I'd get my money back, because the staff have made it VERY clear that they have no intention in helping and want to take more money out, I just want to let people that when you cancel a membership with the gym you will have to be charged again NO MATTER WHAT, and I bet 95% of the gym goers dont know that.

Gym is in a very poor state. Looks like the toilets haven’t been cleaned in years!

Just moved here from Texas and found this gym. Great staff and offers a variety of equipment Also has a workout room just for women

I got an extra charge, tried to contact the supervisor of the gym by email. He never reached out. The contact key I was given never worked. Worst gym I've ever been. Letting aside the fact of how small the facilities are.

Very good gym overall. Just needs more weights, more cable variations (Back n Arms).

The staff are always really kind. Everything is really good and is all what u can really need. Just a few more stuff would be good
