Very good service overall. What they keep in stock is very decent, their deliveries are fast and they keep the customers updated along the way. I've ordered from them 3-4 times and all have went very smoothly.

I Ordered a Zone Denmark A bookshelf unit which is just perfect for my requirements. Delivery was just as promised, next day……will definitely be ordering more from this company.

Awful customer service. You pay a considerable amount for guaranteed next day delivery and when the courier fails to deliver they refuse to refund the charge. They even tried to say delivery was attempted when the courier was still 11 stops away!

I recently ordered a number of Christmas decorations in the Dotmaison post Christmas sale. Unfortunately due to the fragile nature of these decorations, one was very slightly damaged by the courier. I contacted the team at Dotmaison and found them to be not only willing to help and replace this decoration, but at the same time they were polite, courteous and efficient. This was a first time ordering with this company and I was very impressed and will definitely use them again.

I ordered a load of Sara Miller items before Xmas and one of the boxes had been opened (the seal was half attached), the duvet covered and had been opened and repacked and the plastic covering for the cushion was ripped, not great presentation for presents. I will not be buying from here again.

Update:
3 weeks after I had ordered a Blomus table, one of the metal legs ended up bent. Got in touch with customer service, who helped get in touch with the manufacturer too but no real resolution was offered other than repeating "try to bend it back" which just is not possible, even with two people’s full weight.

Email responses felt like it implied it was my fault where I caused the damage but it is not physically possible for me to bend the steel leg of a table that weighs almost 2/3 of my weight.

Paid almost £300 for a faulty table that now has a bent leg, and will need to be binned. Will be going elsewhere after this disappointing experience.

Amazing speed of delivery!

Ordered a couple of Danish and German branded items, they arrived within 2 days to the door, all carefully wrapped. No fuss at all. The price of the items were also cheaper in comparison to other online stores, will definitely become a regular with Dotmaison.

Ordered some Ferm Living wineglasses for a Christmas present. They arrived very quickly and were extremely well packed.

Bought a black Seletti monkey ceiling light this week. It was delivered the next day - can’t wait to get it up! Would definitely buy from here again, great service.

Ordered a ferm living plant table on Sunday and it arrived a few days later amazingly packaged to protect it. I am so impressed with the service, the product and communications. Super quick delivery even in Northern Ireland. Really delighted thank you so much!

Placed an order of one item which, including the delivery fee came to £26.70. It came, I decided I needed to return it so did so using a returns label they sent me. Not only did they then deduct a fee from my refund for the cost of the return, I also was not refunded my original delivery cost despite returning my whole order. This is such bad practice when you are a solely online retailer (I honestly thought you HAD to be refunded original delivery charge when returning the whole order) as there was no way for me to have a look at the item prior to purchasing, and now with the added returns charge, I only received £19.30 back from my original payment. I would never order from here again, as I lost £7.40 in this transaction with nothing to show for it

The overall experience was extremely good and highly professional with a very approachable customer service team.
From ordering to delivery (free) was painless and extremely efficient, I’m delighted.
In between Lockdowns we went to a reimagined Gastro Pub which had some unusual things going on design wise.
Some of which were particularly interesting one being a Seletti Monkey Lamp (available in black or white) which has a human quality to its expression whilst, at the same time, it resembles something out of a science museum!
The idea behind it was that this mischievous monkey stole your light and now it’s up to you to get it back.
It created the “impression” that, just like in a safari, you are lost in the deep black Africa.
It is designed by Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba.
I was so taken by it that I spent time tracking down where I could buy one and eventually discovered a handful of select U.K. distributors.
However, maybe because of its popularity it’s quite difficult to find any in stock plus it’s quite premium priced (understandably so).
When I stumbled upon Dotmaison it felt like a Euraka moment!
The option I wanted was in stock and there was a favourable price on offer.
The other point to make is that Dotmaison do have an incredibly broad selection of original products from established highly quality brands to exciting and emerging designers.
I did experience one minor problem and contacted their customer support team who were superb, they live up to their customer service promise.
I was delighted to discover such an innovative site and will make it my first port of call in future when looking for fresh ideas.
