Booked while we were in Krakow and the day before the experience, we’re given clear instructions where to meet and what to expect. Great prices and great experiences, transport there and back as well as the tickets for the experiences are included. Could not say a bad thing about them.

Booked through our travel agency
Booked through our travel agency, to be honest this company had better communication with us than the travel agency did. Contacted the day before to confirm the pick up location and time - bus was really clean and comfortable, chaperone into the tour when we arrived and an absolutely fantastic tour guide. Lunch was provided for us which was really nice, then taken to Birkenau on the same bus for the second part of the tour. The same chaperone and tour guide came with us, which again - both fantastic. Short walk back to the bus and then a journey back to Krakow to drop us back to the pick up point. Great company, could not recommend enough!

L histoire va être longue mais puisqu'il il faut être honnête
La veille de notre première visite sur les camps,j écris a GetYourGuide via wahtapp pour confirmer que la.navette nous prends bien à l hôtel et si l heure reste la même,GetYourGuide me confirme que au lieu de 9h c est 9h25 mais toujours à l hôtel, le jour de l excursion la.navette n est pas venue car apparemment le rdv m avait ete confirme par mail en anglais vers 21h25 donc il faut dormir avec.son gsm allume ou ne pas aller se coucher tot nous avons du prendre une navette de notre propre moyen
Cout 116 eur juste aller
GetYourGuide a reconnu son erreur et avons eu droit a un remboursement

3eme excursion chopin ce faisant la meme journée mais en soirée la non plus pas de lien recu mais vu la situation de l apres midi GetYourGuide promet si leurs systems se retablis de me les envoyer ouf chose faite mais le comble c est que l organisateur de chopin ne me reclame aucun document🤣
Enfin pour conclure a l.avenir vaux mieux prendre directement ses tickets sur place et ne plus passer par un intermediaire c a d GetYourGuide

Trip to Auschwitz and Wieliczka Salt Mine
Trip to Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II Birkenau was very interesting. It is a horrible history which needs to be told. Recommended. Discover Cracow arranged the bus, the tickets, the guide and lunch. The only issue was the pick up. I recommend that you store the DC's phone number on your phone and you can then communicate with them through WhatsApp (really responsive). Also note that pickup point is not (necesarily) the same place as dropoff point.
I ordered a special deal with a guided tour in the Wieliczka Salt mine as well. Really cool experience and well organised by DC. Note that having both Auschwitz and the salt mine on the same day, will make you quite exhausted.

Tour guide didn’t show in the first 15
Tour guide didn’t show up within the first 15 or 20 minutes of when they told us to be there and as it was winter with the museum closing early, went on my own and had a very nice self guided visit. Wouldn’t have considered it a big deal, things happen, but as they still emailed me to write a review, there you go.

Not a great pickup, but a good tour.
There was a lot of confusion getting picked up. They phoned me about 30 minutes before my pickup time and told me the driver is already waiting for me. The time they gave on the ticket was incorrect. Luckily the person at the call centre quickly made a plan and was able to send the location of where I can still catch the bus. After that, it was smooth sailing. I visited Auschwitz, and the tour was great.

Horrible company
Horrible company. Booked a return shuttle from Auschwitz and we attempted to board the shuttle. The driver looked at our ticket and said “no, no!” I said what?! Are we on the wrong shuttle? He just shooed us off the shuttle. It WAS the right shuttle and they left us stranded at Auschwitz, (which sounds like a really funny/horrible scenario). We had to take a taxi back to Krakow that cost us 100 USD. After all this they won’t give a refund.

Not recomended
The only thing good about this trip was the nice ladys who were whit us- that I found out in the middle of the tour that were not guides, but translaters.
Well, it started of with being advised less than 24h that the schedule that I reserved wasn’t possible. Than, in the morning of the tour, it was clearly to see that the tour was overbooked and two guys were left outside the bus without explanation. The driver just closed the door on their face.
About the tour itself… it was really rushed, with no time to reflect or honor the people who suffered so much. The lady that was our guide - or was supposed to be, since she was just a translater - had terrible English and known just the basic history of the campus- you could’ve read a 9th grade history book for that.
In the end, the bus driver left us 2 km far from the entrance of Birkenau, with places to stop right in front of it. It was raining cats and dogs, so it wasn’t a nice end.

Trip to Auschwitz
The trip to Auschwitz was very interesting. The experience was nice. The organizers were very professional. There was a change in schedule but I was informed well in advance.
Only one thing to mention, I have mentioned the pick-up and drop-off point (same location) while booking the trip. While my pick up was from the exact specified location, but the drop happened far away from my location and I was not aware of the change beforehand.
Apart from this small glitch, the trip was very good.

Nice and informative experience.
Visited the Schindler Factory at Krakow via Discover Krakow. Was very happy with the guided tour, lot’s of information about events in Krakow during WW2 and details of what shots we’re used in the Spielberg movie. All in all a nice experience and day out. The tour is about 2 hours.

Interesting experience
There was a little bit of confusion at the start because lots of different tour groups were gathering in one place and we couldn't find out guide. We called the DiscoverCracow helpline and the person on the phone was very professional and helpful. When we found the guide it was very quick to receive our tickets and we were left to explore the museum alone.
The museum itself was very interesting and insightful. I learnt a lot of new things about Krakow during the war. It took approx 2 hours to complete everything and it captured my attention for the whole duration.
There was a free cloakroom which I thought was very convenient too.
Would recommend if visiting Krakow, especially if, like myself, you do not have enough time for the full day trip to Auschwitz.

Un musée d’une très grande qualité avec…
Un musée d’une très grande qualité avec Monica notre guide privée et exceptionnelle . L’histoire de la Pologne pendant la guerre est très bien présentée. Ne vous attendez pas à entendre parler que de Schindler, ce musée va bien au delà d’où son intérêt. Ma fille de 25 et moi sommes reparties ravies. Juste nous voulions refaire un tour seules sans notre guide mais cela est interdit dommage.
