I had been a member of DeviantArt for nearly twenty years, but lately the site has become extremely toxic and unfriendly.
Avoid!

If you got suspend you dont even know how you submit a ticket and if you send mail its more bot people who talk to you. Just 1 answer and its more do it yourself we wont help you. They even just take off your art nothing inappropriate even of a child hugs lara croft. Deviantart should taken down until its gets better.

Da anni che carico contenuti sia NTSW che SFW con la dovuta attenzione, dopo che hanno cambiato le regole/policy hanno deciso di fare Strike di ogni disegno che non rispetta più le norme, comrpeso quelli vecchi di anni e anni..

Non potendo visionare tutti i disegni, capire cosa non vanno bene ed adattarmi, ed il fatto che lo strike è immediato, il mio account è destinato a scomparire

Grazie per aver trovato il modo peggiore per disfarvi dei problemi, come se non fossimo persone che hanno una passione da condividere ma dei miseri numeri

I have loved DeviantArt for the last 20 years. Yesterday they temporarily suspended my account, and then told me I had 1 week to fix the problem. I jumped on it and worked hard to clean up any issues with 3 hours, and then emailed them back asking if I had done it correctly. Instead of being helpful, 1 hour later they terminated my account, for content that I had already deleted. I have thousands of hours of work on their site and thousands of dollars in Art purchases. This was wiped, and in fact, the art is still selling on their site. This is essentially art theft, the thing they are trying to avoid. The service was absolutely horrendous, and I will be starting a new website to replace the hole in my heart DeviantArt has left. Please read the Trustpilot reviews for DA before joining. Hundreds of 1 star reviews attributed to them not helping their artists & being greedy.

I have purchased thousands of dollars in Art on the DeviantArt website. And then they Deactivated my account, and are still selling it!. Is this not highly illegal. Where is Purchase Protection for your Artists and Customers? At least PayPal has it, I will be logging approx 350 PayPal Disputes for this.

DA has also just implemented a new AI moderator called "DevArt" which seems to be rapidly terminating artists for a wide range of reasons. 5 of the top 10 artists that I followed, along with myself have all been booted in the last month.

who the hell puts a rule in place were you can only block a certain amount of people the site is disgusting i have been reporting accounts of people uploading pics of kids and of animals having sex with humjans the site has done nothing to take it down its all the site is full of on top of that cant even block them as the site restricts blocks its rediculess and the site should be taken downb for all the disgusting and ilgegal stuff on there

Quando, 5 anni fa, ho conosciuto DeviantArt l'ho trovata una piattaforma piuttosto interessante. Funziona come una sorta di social network dell'arte in cui apparentemente si può condividere quasi di tutto in forma scritta, grafica, fotografica e video confrontandosi con altri utenti. Di base è gratuito ma se si paga una certa cifra si attiva un contratto della validità di un anno che consente di accedere alle funzionalità principali del sito tra le quali la possibilità di vendere i propri lavori agli altri utenti. Il problema sorge quando si caricano immagini particolari come ho fatto io per sole due volte e senza che nessun moderatore mi avvisasse che stavo violando le cosiddette "politiche d'etichetta" di DeviantArt. Il regolamento del sito dice chiaramente e giustamente che non è consentito caricare immagini razziste, antireligiose, terroristiche e pedopornografiche ma che si possono caricare immagini a sfondo sessuale ed erotico comprese quelle sadomaso e fetish spuntando la casella "Mature" che, secondo gli amministratori, dovrebbe inibire la visione ai minorenni ed agli utenti non interessati. Posso assicurare che su DeviantArt immagini con gli stessi contenuti delle mie ce ne sono decine di migliaia e sono spesso anche molto più esplicite, per questo fino alla sera del 27 maggio 2025 ho creduto di non aver violato le regole della piattaforma. Oltre a questo tipo di contenuti ci sono anche decine di migliaia di "opere" di pessimo gusto, violente e con temi platealmente razzisti che, in teoria, dovrebbero essere vietati. Questo già dal 2020, ossia quando mi sono iscritto.
Dopo cinque anni, senza alcun preavviso, DeviantArt mi ha cancellato tutte le immagini (non solo quelle incriminate) e mi ha disattivato in modo definitivo l'account senza alcuna possibilità di appello. Mi hanno solo comunicato che ho violato le loro "politiche di etichetta" e tanti saluti. Non posso neanche rientrare un'ultima volta per recuperare i miei lavori o provare a porre rimedio all'errore, peraltro fatto in buona fede. Ovviamente i soldi della mia iscrizione al sito non mi verranno restituiti anche se ho sfruttato solo 3 dei 12 mesi previsti dal contratto: oltre al danno la beffa.
DeviantArt in sé non sarebbe una cattiva idea, peccato che è gestito da un manipolo di ciarlatani, ipocriti e ladri.
Se volete condividere o anche vendere le vostre opere digitali, qualunque esse siano, evitate DeviantArt come la peste e rivolgetevi ad altri siti più seri e professionali

The site is disgusting I came across a profile on the site of dogs having sex with humans i reported the account and all the photos the site has done nothing to removew it its ilegal to show stuff like that but the site docent remove illegal stuff i would honestly stay away from the site as its full of illegal and disgusting things the site should be taken down

Un site qui était bien vers la fin des années 2010 ,mais actuellement c'est devenu un nid à microbe d'images horrible généré par IA notamment des images de zoophilie(bestialité),monstre.Et malgré plusieurs des mes signalements de ce genre de contenus immonde à deviantart ils n'ont jamais réagit au contraire j'ai même reçu un avertissement d'abus.Ça resume aussi la mentalité des modérateurs de ce site qui accepte ce style de contenus immonde,ils me donnent même l'impression qu'ils sont en compétition dans la décadence avec un autre site réputé pour héberger aussi ce genre d'abomination le fameux "pixiv.net"

I've used this Site back to 2022. Since I started, I was about to Focus out of my Ocs, when I encounter with someone/Anyone instead.

Well, I can't stand to use DA a long Time (when I was going to last from using the site in 10 years), because everyone is turning bad, and Yes… no one is actually good.

What is happening in this site, Horrible things are happening.

When I stared in late July 2022, I posted out of my favorite Cartoons. When I turned 18, I was about to lose interest about my favorite shows. I made Fanarts and posts out of cartoon characters, crossover shipping, etc. When what happened, I had a conversation with someone, instead of focusing on making just Fanarts. When I made a post of RK101 until I found out she was pedo____e, then I made crossover shippings since I already stopped because of pedo_____a, etc. I actually had the worst time was started when I encounter/Meet someone as MeliMilkyArts, Antoine, Candela, Etc. When I made hate posts out of My least favorite shows as TTG, etc., until I deleted them, one user stole my art, I heard when Mark was exposed for incest, and others users keep getting exposed, I confronted CoDXros3. I was being friends with called Ke949 when she used adult body as minor (since I lost interest with her due to her immature behavior). My Friends confronted a Degenerate User Called Fabo who actually Looks Bad due to his Malicious Behavior. I had a Toxic Relationship Called Teloach (I just was being jealousy and combative with him), I confronted Ced since she was pedo, MarianRogue Left in DA, and I found a Terrible user who bullied me. I started getting worse because I can't take it anymore because the drama doesn't stop. A creepy woman Called MariesChannel02 made me to quit to DA when I was about to leave in DA permanently. When I returned in early 2025, then I was about to be better person because I keep worried to my friends. One strange user added me in Sprunki post when I was mad, since I can't stand with DA, when I made the callout of Teloach, and then I deleted it, Due to the fact, everyone is turning Bad (Including Rant Users and except me). I'm sick of chaos what happening, I had my Joyless, I Deactivated my account for good reasons, then I moved to my second account when I focused to my responsibility. People don't understand my response post, like idiots, since already I no longer had obsession with Ke949 Anymore.

When I Deleted my DA account afterward, I was being calling out someone for wrong reasons, not only this. I also was being a Fake artist when I can't add structural drawings, because any of my arts are being nonsense that it don't work

Despite in the fact, DeviantArt is ruining forever, is really don't control own behaviors, any currently degenerate users are refuse to quit in DA. Enough toxicity, Many Toxic fans and Haters, DeviantArt is supporting Israel, Many Fake artists, Making AI generated, NTFs and stealing arts, Fill-in-Memes, many immature people, being owned by Wix, fetish arts, Sexualization, Harassment. DA staff are Careless, selfishness, Supporting the badness and no goodness, Any Rant and Respectful users (excluding me) are turning bad and/or likes the badness when they don't have enough goodness. Any immature people who had lack of respectful, Allowing Underage Criminals and Predators, Aggressive actions, Unstoppable behaviors, scamming, etc.

I'm actually being a normal person, despite the motivations for my actions (I had trouble with my behavior), that I don't have malicious in nature, I just want to be Nice, help minors and someone who actually looks good, etc. Due to the fact someone or My friends are being malicious, because Nice, Respectful, and Rant Users are turning Evil. When I realized If search in google or Brave about Bad friends, I didn't believe someone or My friends really looks bad. I realized if someone posts or don't post about their behaviors, they really looks bad.

The truth, No one shouldn't trust This site despite DeviantArt is no longer a good site, it should shut down due to horrible anything are still happening. None of the CEO or contributors didn't believe DeviantArt's drama is happening, Because DeviantArt cannot be trusted.

I strongly guest, Never Trust DeviantArt that no one is actually Good. Make sure, Stay Sway from this Evil-ish Site (If all social media is not safe for you, whatever value your Reputation)

In other words, what they can't take, they destroy, and the deviantArt team is complicit in it.

All accounts with significant visibility are subject to potential fraud attempts through NFTs, fake digital checks, or others.

I was first a witness before becoming a direct victim of these dangerous individuals operating freely on the platform.

Now what they couldn't obtain, they tried to set on fire to cause as much damage as possible before leaving.

Since the fraud attempt did not lead to anything positive, hundreds of abusive complaints ended up on DeviantArt's rectangular desk in the hope that the account could be permanently closed afterward.

Following this orchestrated and premeditated act of revenge with the help of the DeviantArt moderation team, I lost several non-illegal works that will never be recovered.

Today, there are dangerous criminals on the DeviantArt platform and unfortunately, instead of being able to count on the management to hunt them down, they help them carry out their revenge when they can't catch their victim in their net.

It's a dangerous place that should be under constant surveillance from an external government institution.

Kunst ist Geschmacksache. Die einen finden dein Werk toll, die anderen schlecht. Ganz besonders schlimm ist es, wenn es Accounts gibt, die schreiben "Ich werde dich löschen und kaputt machen" Und nach einigen Tagen ist dann dein Account gelöscht. Da läuft was falsch.

Deviant Art's guidelines are vague in the extreme. It's very difficult to determine whether or not a picture falls outside the rules. Further, Deviant Art uses an AI algorithm to judge your pictures. If the AI deems the bad, you are permanently banned from the site, without even knowing what it was about your picture that tripped the AI. So, even if the AI was in error, it is "all decisions are final." I have found several pieces of art on DeviantArt similar to the one that got me banned. I cannot see any difference. Further, they take hostage any and all artwork you had on the site and delete it, without providing a chance to download it back. Yes, I had back up images, but it would have been beneficial to retrieve the descriptions, etc. They don't offer refunds for CORE in this case, either.

It won't let me on it

It's just a bunch of people trying to solicit you out of your money pretending to want to buy your art. They all try to get you to create NFT's on their preferences of platforms and then never pay. Or think in this electronic transaction age I would accept a digital check. It's really fun to play with like a social media site but it's not a platform to sell your art on. There's no money to make on deviantart.com. It's all smoke and mirrors. I becoming a fishing site to steal identity.

Ho recentemente avuto un'esperienza molto deludente su DeviantArt, e mi sento in dovere di condividerla. Ho scoperto un'opera chiamata "Messia Of America", che ritrae Gesù Cristo avvolto nella bandiera americana, con un'aquila aggrappata al braccio e il sole dietro la testa. Una rappresentazione che, a mio avviso, oltrepassa i limiti del buon gusto e del rispetto.

Ho provato a segnalare questa opera due volte, esprimendo la mia preoccupazione per la sua natura provocatoria e irrispettosa, ma le mie segnalazioni sono state ignorate. Ho anche tentato di segnalare altre pagine sul sito che mostrano contenuti osceni e provocatori, ma anche in quel caso non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta. È frustrante vedere che una piattaforma così grande e popolare non prenda sul serio le segnalazioni degli utenti.

Non auguro il fallimento di DeviantArt, ma è evidente che stavolta hanno davvero passato i limiti. La mancanza di attenzione verso contenuti che possono offendere e ferire le sensibilità altrui è inaccettabile. Speravo in un maggiore rispetto per le diverse fedi e culture, ma purtroppo questo sito sembra aver dimenticato tali valori.

There user with 4 alternative accounts and have a scam site call devaiant dot com that doesn't warn you on the NSFW meaning children can look there.

They even charge $20+ on boosty for AI slop? Where else you can buy a sketch book and mechanical pencils for around $6 at Walmart.

Gross goes high as $250- $499 for generated AI crap.

Put the ART in DeviantArt. Not NFTs, AI slop.

DeviantArt is the most horrible place to ever be in out of any user, from any other website out there! DeviantArt mostly SCAMS you by paying their membership, Luckly i haven't gotten money around that time. they mostly steal money from you, even Tho they are Luckly to (Quote: Help You Out) clearly an abundance of people here are just as stupidly dumb than a cockroach! for example, if you talk about serious thing to them, they may rather become but hurt by blocking you, deactivate their accounts, or even report you for stupid reason! but if you tell them the STUPID ASS, positive stuff, they may be friends for you, but always wanted to request begging for you no matter how many arts and posts you posted to avoid them! and finally the moderation is so Downright bottom of the barrel garbage! clearly many of my favorite DeviantArt's delete their accounts and never came back here, due to the horrible balance of the moderation and the way how DeviantArt uses now, make me wonder why so many youtubers never came to DeviantArt in the first place. since I think that can be the place where they ruined their lives and spend the rest of their sad and miserable existence, doing DeviantArt, for the most, braindead people imaginable, that will never help you out and never leave you alone by begging my request, and just left you to completely waste away, into the turning point. OH and do not forget that DeviantArt brought AI art, which mostly killed the website in the first place too. i was surprised that this horrible place allow users to pay memberships to get better features, but at the end... is not worth it at all. all i can say is.is only the certain amount of time, until google takes in to completely reset this thing up!
