There online website said my payment had failed, so I paid again. Upon checking my bank both payments had been taken! It has taken over 20 days to get my over payment back. So much so, I threatened them with debt collectors to recover the funds.

Wrote to my mum a year after moved re a parking ticket never issued when do a was updated on date of move. Company didn’t answer matter and gave debt advise. Didn’t update the parking company. Sainsbury’s have assisted and revolved the tickets but it’s a disgusting way to treat elderly people with disability parking with blue badge who have over stayed a few minutes.

Poor debt collection performance
I contacted DCBL in April this year to collect a debt. they are very quick to take your money but the performance in collecting the debt is beyond poor. I really don't undertsand how they continue to operate. I never get any updates and on calling today have been told they will make a visit next week which will be about a month after the last visit, the lady Teresa on the phone is very nice but its not collecting my near £3000 debt. I wish i had used a different company but will review again after i hear the outcome of next weeks visit.

The company is a failure at understanding anything. The staff are incompetent, liars and frauds. Actions needs to be taken against them. They need to be taken to court. They do not let you speak , I was talked over. They were rude. I have never come across any company this vile.

I received a demand for £170 for an 'offence' 2 years ago - they said they had written to me before but it was pure lies. I had received nothing, I paid it but when I have time I will contact them and at least waste some of their time as they have wasted my money.

I approach DCBL due to a loan not being paid back to me and having problems finding where they had moved to.
I cannot thank Tony Evens and DCBL enough for all there help and support they are giving me.
They have not given up on the case and are continually looking for information on the person that owes me money.
I would highly recommend DCBL and I’m so pleased I am using them.

Truly the lowest of human life on the planet. Non stop bullying and harassment for an alleged parking fine that was paid in the past and being demanded again!.
Just paid it again to get them off my back as had more important issues atm and still the threats continued...just abhorrent company.
Backdated letters go out late giving you no time to respond, adding more anxiety. Called liars on the phone and asked to "prove it". Legalised criminals.
100% convinced this whole outfit is a scam to prey on the weak. No apparant regulated authority to report to?

DCBL have acted for us in the collection of 2nr long outstanding debts and obtained full payment in both cases.
They are easy to contact and very helpful.
Instruction formalities are concise.
We have found them to be most effective.
We would not hesitate to use them again if we have any more late debts.
Unreasonable
Buy debt without knowing if pursuing it is even ethical or without any evidence to back up the debt. Harass defendants and do not follow their own timelines, with no understanding or empathy. It is a massive shame that the people of the UK are allowed to be subject to these profiteering and harassment scams, with very little backing and disappointing we are legally subjected to be held at mercy by these companies.

Very slow service. Despite trying to get my debt recovered and providing multiple addresses remained uncollected. You end up paying them to recover money you are owed from a fraudster. Makes no sense.

Have had an unusual amount of scam calls since passing my details over the phone to this company.
I also had to pay £170 for a parking fine I didn't receive due to moving house and not changing the log book address in time, the annoying thing was I put my registration number into the parking machine in the reception but I placed a 0 instead of a o and because of this and now paying more than a days wage because I couldn't speak to anyone high enough to solve the issue. Proper scam of a system in my opinion.

I have been sent a parking fine when at Heathrow, I have sent supporting documents to show that I dropped the car with a parking company Aygo parking Ltd and that we were catching a plane to America at the time, the car was moved the next day so clearly wasn't us. We were there for a month so came back to this fine which I replied to and sent all the flight, parking details & purchase documents. I now have a court date but between me coming back from America & me sending all evidence I have had no response until this letter arrived today. 17/09/25
