Curry’s always have the best Technology and some of the best competition for prices , it’s one of them older store names we all remember that will never grow old , always up to date with equipment, technology services and anything your looking for to buy to improve your home , security , phone , music , Tv , kitchen appliances, broadband or anything tech related. Curry’s just has about everything you need and there is no other place to go to get this variety.

The young gentlemen who took the washing machine to the van fir me was extremely friendly and helpful

Went to one curry’s said I can take home any appliances that had the take home sticker , 4 machines in and no stock but can deliver at a charge mmmm not very customer service , went to 2 curry’s completely different , lady was straight up and showed and checked for me what thay had , so curry is probably only still running due to people needing asap ,

Brilliant ordered on a collection and within 3/4 hr. Text mess saying ready to collect and the lad at the counter gave me a hand to load freezer as well. Couldn’t fault nene valley in Northampton at all

I accidently ordered two items by mistake as I meant to cancel one of them and didn't notice until I'd paid. It being the weekend I couldn't get through to the help line to cancel the order. I went into the store to pick up the item and Anna Maria at the services desk was able to cancel and refund the item I hadn't meant to purchase. She made it effortless and easy and was pleasant to a dotty old lady.

Care & Repair Agreement Breach

My mother has paid for Currys Care & Repair for over 21 years, more than 250 monthly payments.

The agreement promises breakdown support, a 7 Day Fix Promise, and a replacement if the product is beyond repair. None of these commitments have been honoured.

An engineer visited on 30 May 2026 and confirmed the cooker was not repairable due to obsolete parts. Despite this, Currys have repeatedly claimed they had no record of the visit and separately told us we would be contacted within 72 hours once the engineer’s report was obtained.

We are now over 1,924 hours beyond that promise and still have no report, no update, and no replacement voucher.

Currys’ own terms state that if an engineer determines the product is beyond repair, they will proceed with a replacement. Instead, we have been passed between multiple teams, asked to repeat security checks, and told to call the same numbers again and again.

One recent reply even asked us to restart the entire process, despite the engineer’s conclusion already being on record.

This is a clear breach of the 7 Day Fix Promise and a complete failure to provide the service my mother has paid for over two decades. All we require is for Currys to retrieve the engineer’s report, as promised months ago, and issue the replacement voucher.

After 21 years of loyalty, this level of service is unacceptable. I am posting this review in the hope that someone senior finally takes ownership and resolves this urgently.

The staff are extremely good, friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the products and are therefore in a position to be able advise customers accordingly. Personally, I have had top notch service from David and Shashi in the Northampton store. Credit to Currys for understanding staff and service is key to a successful business.

Sold me a Lenovo Laptop recommended a charger. This charger did not have the correct connections hence I had to go back to the shop for a replacement.Not very professional.
