Disappointing issues
Purchasing our TV online was very easy and arrived in-store quickly but coming to pick it up was slow and disappointing. The people behind the desk failed to acknowledge our existence, concentrating it appeared to be on some minor issue. We got it in the end and it was worth the wait.

POOR SERVICE IN STORE
There were too few staff in the store. When I did manage to speak to a staff member he said he would get someone to help me but after waiting for some time no one came.

I purchased a Beko fridge freezer on…
I purchased a Beko fridge freezer on 11th August 2026 from your Croydon Purley Way store and paid £ 30 for collection/recycling of my old fridge as well as £ 25 toward removing the doors on my old American style double door fridge freezer. I had also paid for next day express delivery. On returning home I checked the paperwork and while the till receipt showed all details of the payment, accompanying paperwork stated that 0 items were going to be collected. So my first complaint is that it is impossible to speak to the store as their phone nos are not listed. Customer services were no help at all and as a 73 year old OAP I was forced to make a 2 hour return journey back to the store during evening rush hour, only to be given vague reassurances that everything would be fine. Next day, when the delivery arrived, imagine my horror when it became clear that the driver had no instructions to collect the old fridge. Common sense prevailed when I showed him the till receipt which detailed the collection charges and he agreed to remove the old fridge as an "exception". Apparently, Currys' IT system only records collection when it's like for like. Not a happy experience and I will be giving Currys a wide berth in future.

We visited Currys on Purley Way
We visited Currys on Purley Way, Croydon. The service we received was excellent. Darren was extremely helpful and really informative about the microwaves in store. We found exactly what we were looking for. Darren then carried the microwave from the first floor to the till on the ground floor for us. Ramila was super quick on the till and very polite. We highly recommend this store.
