Failure to look after it's customers
On 8th August I was informed my flight back from my cruise was cancelled. This wasn't Cruisenation fault but the follow up is. They said that the best option for the 5 of us (including my 1 year old grandson) was to fly from Naples to Istanbul sit in an airport for 6 hours then fly from Istanbul to Manchester. We said this was not an option. We asked if we could fly from another airport (Rome) and for them to arrange a minibus with a child's car seat. Today is the 9th September and despite many many emails and phone calls we still have no idea how we are supposed get home from our cruise. This is a holiday i have paid almost £9000 for. It has finally been escalated today although I fear that we will get more lies and excuses. I have booked a few times before with Cruisenation including a cruise in January to Japan South Korea and Hong Kong. I am absolutely beside myself with worry and having recently lost my husband i really don't need any more stress. I don't know if I will ever trust this company again

We appreciate that the original flight cancellation was outside of our control. When we discussed the available alternatives with you, the options presented were the most suitable available at the time. We also understand that you requested to explore flying from an alternative airport in Rome, and we provided options for you to consider. We completely understand that you wanted to review these before making a decision, however, by the time you came back to us, the first option you had been considering was unfortunately no longer available and the alternative was not what you wanted.
We appreciate how frustrating this has been. Flight availability following schedule changes is subject to live supplier availability and can change while arrangements are being reviewed, which unfortunately affected the options available to us.
I can now confirm that, since this review was posted, a suitable flight has been secured for you and we have also arranged a transfer to assist with your journey home, at no additional cost to you.
We’re pleased that we have now been able to put the arrangements in place and will certainly take your feedback on board regarding the communication and support you received throughout this process.

We had a very positive experience contacting Cruise Nation Customer Service this morning. The call was answered very promptly by Janine, who was most helpful and cheerful and genuinely wanted to help. She got our Advanced Passenger Information sorted out with Air Canada very quickly. Above and beyond is standard for Olivia!!
We had major issues with our reserved accommodation in NYC (not wheelchair accessible) but Olivia was an absolute angel in resolving this situation for us and arranged suitable accommodation for our needs. She was very patient, sympathetic and supportive in making sure our trip was back on the right track. She was amazing and dealt with the hotel directly that we had the issue with and also another 3rd party who was used to book the accommodation. It may have taken almost 6 hours to get a resolution but this was not anything to do with Olivia. She kept us informed at all stages. We have booked several holidays with Cruise Nation in the past and this was the first trip we’ve had any issues with. We will continue to recommend this company and Olivia to all our friends and family

First Class Service
Due to change in our itinerary we had to cancel our River Cruise. From the moment we notified Cruise Nation about our decision they followed up our request promptly and efficiently and within a few days we received a full refund. Thanks to Jemma for her dedicated assistance in this matter.
