I can't even use cpanel because after ordering from their website they ask you to send screenshots of your transaction, screenshots of your card (they say blur out everything but last 4 digits), government ID. Like I'm an employee of theirs or something. Never had to do that for a simple online transaction. Never has any hosting company asked for the same. Surprised how they sell any products direct to consumer. Like a 20th century security policy..bizarre

Jupiter template spoils everything. The cPanel page sends error messages and exits the page. The design of the Jupiter template is bland and creates a sense of chaos. I don't feel safe hosting my websites through such an interface, so until there is a proper interface, I will not use cPanel. If they don't replace the Jupiter template, more and more companies will decide to look for an alternative user interface or create their own. Reverting the Paper Lantern theme would be a wise business decision.

DO NOT USE. I have lost hundreds of enquries over the years, which is thousands of pounds lost in revenue, Their system only forwards messages for a short time then it needs re setting. Zero customer support

Bad software from Greedy guys trying to create a monopoly in the hosting industry buying all they tools in they market, leaving small hosters out of business. I hope the market itself leave them out of business. Everyone looking for an alternative, try Spanel.io or Aapanel.
Great at collecting licensing fees, but when things go wrong, not so good.
I have used WHM / cPanel for nearly two decades, mostly on managed hosting platforms, but for the past 5 years I have had my own bare metal server space where I used WHM & cPanel simply "out of habit".
This server management software is what I'm familiar with, the product itself is feature rich and has proven to be quite reliable, so my $30 / month seemed like a typical cost of doing business that was a reasonable value.
Recently, however, I have had a couple of incidents where things were not going well on my server and the staff at cPanel, in both cases, did not fail to disappoint. In the first instance, they got in a finger-pointing war with the server facility and while the answer to the issue was honestly a simple fix, they failed to explain how that fix could take place and as a result I lost a day trying to access any of the sites on my hardware.
This morning it appears my server was hit with a denial of service attack. In order to file a ticket with cPanel and gain guidance on how to get my site functioning properly again, I needed the IP address of the server (which I had) AND a super-secret service code that could only be retrieved by accessing the server that was not responding to any requests. In trying to call to see what could be done about this, nobody would answer the phone. I'd be number one in the queue, then get cut off.
The functionality this software provides is far to critical to have the company behind it with a completely detached and unengaged attitude. This is where it's MOST important that the people behind the software passionate about serving their clients, engaged, available, and ready to step up ... not sit back and wait for the next licensing payment.
Unquestionably after these experiences, it's time to fully explore more viable options. If you are considering how to administer a server, consider yourself warned before making this choice.

Such a bad experice I always have with this company. They simply don't care about their customers, if they ever did!
I have made the mistake to signup with them for 3 cpanel licences and now I have to beg them literally for customer service support. Not to say how discriminatory they are on that chat as I have a disability and they have approved me for a while and after that they close my tickets just because I can't use my hands to write on the keyboard and all other staff accepted my video tutorial replies with loom but than last few other staff rejected my video tutorial about my problems. However, they never helped me solve any of my so many tickets! I have solved them all by myself.

Horrible services. "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" already a week. I can't get to the company's emails. Can't create, can't delete - nothing. Customer support doesn't answer, and request to buy a "ticket". It's mean, if you need get help with "cpanel unqualified product" you need to pay them. My advice - try to find something else.

Was 5* before the price change and their "Price Tiers", nos the prices are impossible, we are moving all our server out of cpanel, sadly they goes greedy with their prices.

Absolutely appalling organisation since the acquisition, with no morale whatsoever.
Partners, you won’t be considered partners, your just another number in their books.
We’re not their largest partners, but we still spend over £120,000 a year with cPanel and I can assure you that irrespective of your spend, or willingness to invest time and effort in their product you are still nothing, and won’t get any help along the way. Greed has taken over, and there’s no reverting it seems.
If you are new to the industry, please do consider the opinions of us involved - choose another partner, and stay well away.
Consider looking into alternatives such as DirectAdmin who are independent of the monopoly of Web Pros.
