Worst post-sales service.

I went into the boutique to purchase the dress in July for my December wedding. My stylist was clay. Tried on a dress with blush tulle and loved the color. Said i wanted only the blush tulle and non of the white tulle. I live in Cambodia and had to call in a favor from my cousin to pick it up for me and to send it back to Cambodia.

When the dress arrived (in October), I realized it was in the most awful coral and was nothing like i ordered. So then I had to get someone else to bring the dress to USA to return it. And also had to actively find a new dress 2 months to the wedding!!!

And after all that trouble and frustration, the only refunded me 70% of what i paid even though they were the one that screwed up. They even told us it was either 70% or nothing.

They also keep citing color deviation issue from the website, but i didn't buy the dress online! I went into the boutique and picked it out. And blush to coral is NOT A MINOR DIFFERENCE, Abigail.

Don't buy from them. They don't really care about you. They only want your money.

Update: They just blocked me on instagram because I left negative comments on their photos. Clearly you don’t want to have to deal with these things days before your wedding.

Cocomelody was fantastic! Communication was great and the dress was exactly what I wanted. It was literally perfect and I'm so happy I got it! Best decision I could have made. Everyone was shocked it was one I got online and also for such a good price!

I was beyond impressed with the quality of the dress and also the creation process. I ordered my dress very late and with a super tight turnaround time. The Coco Melody team worked with closely with me to ensure that they had the best measurements to custom make my dress and meet my deadline. I had the dress in hand and only needed very minor alterations (some slight hemming) to be made to the final garment. I could not have been happier with the team. And to top it off, I LOVED my dress. I would recommend and order from Coco Melody again and again!

Most amazing experience! I visited the LA store and was treated with great customer service, the champagne was a welcomed bonus. Found the dress I wanted... purchase was pain free and so recieved my dress faster then expected! I was given so many compliments on my wedding day. Totally satasfied!!

My custom made dress from CocoMelody was the best decision made with regard to my wedding! The dress came out perfect, exactly as I requested. I chose lining material and color, lace appliques, and train length. With custom measurements, the dress fit perfectly, even the hem. Materials and workmanship were just as good as any dress I tried on in local shops, at a fraction of the price. It took less than 2 months from placing order to receipt. I did not have to pay any VAT or customs fees. It is really beautiful! I'm a very happy customer and highly recommend Coco Melody.

I got my wedding dress from her and it was the best choice I ever made! I was so scared to do the online buy. But it looked and fitted amazing the quality for price was crazy good!!!!! People thought I paid $2000. It also came about a week before it said it was going to come which is also a bonus!!!!

You will have to fight them tooth and nail to get a refund, even when the dress they send is defective. Some of the most horrible customer service I have ever experienced. You may notice they replied to my review, stating that I received my refund, which is correct. Like I said, I had to FIGHT for this refund. If I hadn't, they would have refunded me only 70% of the dress price, which is not stated in their return policy. BE CAREFUL.

In case anyone still has questions about the type of company this is, here's an update: I tried to get the return shipping as stated in their return policy. They refused. After I submitted reviews about them, they told me they would refund the return shipping if I deleted my reviews. I would attach the screenshot of this email, but there is no way for me to do that on here.

Highly not recommended. They have really bad customer service. My sister went into the store to get a dress customized, but when it arrived in the mail 3 months later, it came in a different color from what she chose. And she would have made do with it if it wasn't such an a ugly color. Emailed their stylist Clay 3 times, no reply. Called them about 10 times. At least. No answer. Now she has to look for an alternative as her wedding is coming up.

Update:

They FINALLY responded to my sister, BUT only after we started leaving negative feedbacks on their social media pages. My sister was asked to send her dress back from Cambodia to LA for a refund. When we brought the dress back, we were told by their staff that the refund was only 70%. But we wanted a full refund since it was their fault and it was causing so much inconvenice, not to mention my sister had to start looking for a different dress 2 months from her wedding. But the staff told us verbitam, it was, "EITHER 70% OR NOTHING". Rude.

They then deleted my sister's comments off their instagram and block her. They might reply to you on social media in a nice warm fuzzy way but behind closed doors and in private, they do not give a damn. After we left an overwhelming amount of comments, a staff named Abigail emailed my sister that she had to TAKE DOWN ALL THE COMMENTS AND FEEDBACKS ON THEIR PAGE, before they give the other 30% refund.

To be honest, coming from a family full of females and having worked at retail oursleves, we have done a fair amount of shopping, and this is by far the WORST post-sale customer service we have ever encountered. After taking your money, they dust theirs hands off you.

PS. Yes Clay she did buy 2 dresses from you guys. The other dress was not that perfect either. People, what Cocomelody show you and let you try on in store is not the same quality as what you will get after you pay them
SHAME.

I chose Cocomelody for my bridesmaids dresses. It has been an awful experience for one of them. The dress she ordered based on their size chart would not even zip up. She reached out to them and they told her they would refund her $27 to cover alteration fees. That wouldn't cover a hem job, let alone rebuilding the back to fit. The seamstress quoted her $130, which was the cost of the dress.
She reached back out and they demanded that she send them her measurements and take pictures of her attempting to fit in the dress, because nothing says great customer service like making your customers uncomfortable. In one email, the customer representative snidely explained that everyone knows that you have to take into account proportions alongside measurements, whatever that is supposed to mean.
Finally they are refunding her money with the exception of shipping and a restocking fee, which is ridiculous. I understand that mistakes happen, but when a company refuses to own up them and make it right, it really grinds my gears. I'm not even going to get started on how the fabric of the dresses does not match the swatch I received at all. I'm letting that one go because with my wedding a couple weeks away, I don't have the mental capacity to get upset about that at this point.
I have multiple friends who are engaged and looking to source not only bridesmaids dresses but their wedding dresses as well. I will make sure they never use this company.

Received my ombré formal dress today. To say I was nervous about ordrering online would be an understatement. When it arrived we put it on and fell in love with it all over again. I exceptionally made. Thank you so much for making a special day even more special with this dress..

I ordered my dress with Cocomelody, the production time was 30 days and shipping expected to be 7-10 days. A week after the proposed shipment date I noticed my dress had not yet been shipped. I got in touch and was told there was a delay because it was wedding season. I understand this can be a busy time for the dressmakers but surely they anticipate this surge in business each year?
I was assured it would be posted within a week, when it wasn't I got in touch again and was told it would be posted in 3 days and was asked when was my wedding date. I told them not for 12 weeks and then they responded to say it would not be ready for another two weeks. I got quite upset at this point and informed them of how upsetting it was to me. They then assured me that it would be posted last Friday, and true to their word I received a DHL tracking number and thought finally, my dress is on its way and there is no more guessing.
It has been 4 days and the tracking information had not changed so i got in touch with DHL to query this. They responded to let me know they never physically received the goods at all but that they received a digital number for the package that is due to be posted and told me to speak with Cocomelody regarding this.
I am beyond upset at this point. It is so close to the wedding. The customer service have been polite but very indirect about my order. I was led to believe it was shipped when it wasn't and I still do not know when to expect my dress, even though the wedding is around the corner.
I have expressed my upset at the situation and eventually I received an apology but its not good enough. They consistenly lied over and over again about the shipment date to keep me complacent. If they had told me right away that there was a 4 week backlog and apologised I wouldn't have minded half as much, it would have been better than expecting it every few days to be shipped/delivered.
I read so many great reviews about them I am so surprised this has happened but I do want to let people know about my negative experience as they do occur also.
Hopefully, I receive my dress soon and I am happy with it. Cocomelody need to be more upfront with their customers. This entire ordeal would have been easier if they had been honest with me instead of stringing me along with lies about shipment dates.
I won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered 3 bridesmaid dresses from Coco melody. Was a bit nervous, they were made and delivered within the time frame. When they arrived I was over the moon with the dresses, they fit my friends perfectly, are amazing quality, very well made, gorgeous material. The customer service is also excellent. I'm ordering from again from this company :)

I ordered a customised wedding dress from CocoMelody last year for my wedding this past April 2017. There were some dress that I found online that were nice and pretty but it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I sent through an enquiry. Fiona (customer consultant) was really easy to work. Everything was done via email: sent through the pictures, specific details of what I wanted, my measurements. The process took about 7 weeks before receiving confirmation that my dress was completed. Checked all the details via pictures, and fixed all the parts that I thought wasn't just right. Delivery was tracked and arrived after 4 days from final confirmation date.

I'm super happy with everything. I also purchased 4 bridesmaids dresses from CocoMelody. Will definitely recommended to all my friends.

What an amazing experience, I was was so blown away by their service, they communicate well, there are available to chat at any time, they give you the best advise and the are true to their word. Perfect is an understatement for their services. Cocomelody is outstanding and exceptional in all areas. When I received my dress shoes and veil my gosh I was lost for words and felt like but buying another one just so that I can enjoy that experience over again. The sizes where perfect too and the quality of their fabric and beading dear Lord help, it was just simply perfect. Shipping only took 3.5 days, they shipped my parcel through DHL on Friday 4/11/16 and I received in in New Zealand on 7/11/16 before 11am. It was fast , effective and very efficient. Packaging was great too. I have referred one of my friends who is getting married soon and I can wait to refer more people. Thank you to all staff and especially Sherry who helped me a lot from day one. Thank you Thank you Thank you...

First of all, I have to say that I was very satisfied with the wedding gown I bought from CocoMelody that I asked them to send me the link to write the good review for them. CocoMelody was a great part of my wonderful wedding day. On top of the every reasonable and affordable price, the wedding gown I bought from CocoMelody was custom size, perfect fit, arrive in time and the customer service is great. They responded to my emails in a timely and professional manner. The team worked closely with me to ensure that everything is per order, they confirmed the details of size and length to make sure all is right. I am very impressed and satisfied. I would recommend this store for my family and friends.

I never think that the wedding would be so stressful for me. I'm very calm person..... But, it turns completely different:)
Since, we were looking 3 bridesmaids dresses in yellow color, it was easier for us to order them online and of course cheaper. I started to look online, reading reviews, etc. Chinese stores offers a lot of different products.... but you never know what you get. Most of the review saying that it's usually 50/50, therefore we decided to try with cocomelody. Why they? I guess I choose them only because they have a store in CA and they had a good reviews as well. We ordered 3 dresses. The whole communication process from start to finish was with a customer service representative - Fiona Kuo. All my answers were responding in a timely manner. Do not forget about the time difference! I got the dresses month later (DHL signature confirmation). I was surprised, each dress was packed separately in cocomelody zip cover. Moreover, I was surprised, that they came exactly as pictured, well made! I'm very happy with my purchase! Dam, why I did not order my wedding dress from them.....because I was very skeptical about Chinese stores and decided to order my dress from local designer, which was a big mistake.....

I'm not a person why usually writes a review, but this time I decided to do it, because I know who brides are struggling these days and how hard is it to arrange everything, Personal thank you Fiona Kuo to make the purchasing process easier!

I was so happy to find Cocomelody. I had looked and looked for the perfect dress and then I came across them and was so grateful I did. I chose one from their designer collection and I LOVED it. It is not expensive but still of good quality. I am so excited to have found that perfect dress and can't wait for it to arrive for my special day. Thanks Cocomelody!!!!!
