I went to the dudley site. Service was mediocre at best. Food was substandard. And when offered sauce, OFFERED, we noticed later we were billed for it. What on earth is all that about ? I often believe that even if food is not the best, service will keep you returning. However the service was so bad I'd not even try it again.

We had a table booked. Arrived told over an hour wait. We had cinema booked. This is unacceptable.

Watch out on any offers. We ordered on the BYO 2 for 1 offer. Apparently it is only valid if you mention it before you order and again when you ask for the bill. Our server didn’t tell us this when we mentioned it as we ordered, so we didn’t raise it a second time and didn’t get the discount. When I complained I was told it was in the terms and conditions.

Was my first time coming here, and I can say it was one of the best experiences I have had coming for food , waiting staff were lovely, especially the lady we had serving us , Shannon you are a credit to the restaurant, will definitely be returning 🙃

Fast efficient service, tasty food , fabulous staff.

We were seated at a table and waited so long we were about to walk out , but my wife decided to stick her hand up which eventually bought someone to us . I know chain eateries work to a budget, but this is more chain gang food . Standard foods covered in mexican(ish) sauces . The menu description bear no resemblance to the presented products. My wife ordered the mexican (?) sirloin steak . The only thing making it mexican as far as we could tell would have been one of the sauce options, which they'd run out of , so steak and peppercorn sauce it was , you couldn't make this calamity of a chain up , in your worst nightmares. I'll never step through it's doors again

Paid £100 deposit for my booking and didn’t realise they had not took it off my bill my booking was 20 January 2024 and still waiting on my refund cannot get any answer off restaurant just keeps saying they will pass it on

For the last 6 years, still my favourite place to dine! Food is fresh and perfect cooked to bring out the great flavours, staff is always friendly and constantly making sure we have a great time! I had can only say, me and my family had a great time today on my bday! Thank you Chiquito and staff for the great atmosphere! See you soon🥰

The food is good but the service is always abominable.

I have never been in a Chiquito restaurant before today, nor has my wife, nor our grandson. Well, what an experience in Ashton!
The minute we walked gingerly through the door we were welcomed very warmly and given a choice of tables rather than just taken to some random place not necessarily of our choosing. The young lady who helped us was superb: quietly efficient and clearly on top of her brief. Everything she did in the restaurant was with a smile!
Just a small example of her help - I noticed that my phone was vey low on battery charge, and not knowing if it were possible to have it topped up, I asked her, and without further ado, it was whisked away to be topped up. No drama, no fuss, just understated efficiency.
Anyway, to the main course - the food. The three of us had different meals but without boring you with the details, let it be said that everything was excellent. My wife’s salad was full of multi-various ingredients; our grandson’s half rack of ribs was amazing; and my steak was arguably the best I have ever had! That of course is down to the chef. He obviously knows his trade.
He must not go without mention: so too the man generally operating the bar who was also very helpful.
So, in conclusion, what to say? To be honest,I think I have covered it all really except to say that it was an exceptional meal in a gem of a place.
A modern place, young staff, a newish business model, old fashioned values of service and quality.
Enough said, we shall be returning!

Great place to go. Very spacious.
Had a delicious meal with some friendly and welcoming service.

We had Samanta serve us from start to finish and she answered any questions we had regarding the menu and had some brilliant recommendations.

The food and the service was good but the meal was an exam result treat for my 16 year old son he asked for a cider and was asked for id ??? He was refused due to license law??? As far as I know a 16/17 year old can have an alcoholic drink with their meal unfortunately this spoilt the evening

We had Sam serve us from start to finish and he answered any questions with had on the menu and had some brilliant recommendations.

Food was late, wrong orders not once but twice. A very argumentative waiter, who told us he was too busy to discuss the menu and answer some questions.
All in all a very bad experience.

Mira was very helpful and made us feel very welcomed. Excellent customer service!

Ordered food, including ice-cream, and watched the delivery driver go home with the food in his car for 50 minutes. When he eventually tried to deliver, I refused the food because of the state it would be in.

Despite several complaints to Just Eat, absolutely nothing has been heard and the restaurant has said that they just cook the food and Just Eat handle the delivery so nothing to do with them.

Meanwhile, I'm £35 down.

Myself and my family visit Chiquitos in Edge Lane, Liverpool weekly as it is everyone’s favourite restaurant. Cannot say a bad thing about this place. The food is excellent and the staff are amazing. They make my childrens day and my kids often ask to come this restaurant because of the staff as much as they food. Nothing is a problem here and the staff cannot do enough for you. The servers are brilliant and extremely friendly and this is especially Faith, Charley and Katie. I would recommend this place to everyone and especially families who want great food and a really relaxing and friendly environment. 👍👍👍👍👍

Visited the Cribbs Causeway Bristol restaurant on a few occasions (most recently Sunday 08/05/23). Service is very slow (took ages to take our order), had to chase our drinks order which I could see sitting on the bar. Food is good when it finally arrives. If they could only speed up their service it would be an enjoyable experience, but this has put us off visiting again. It wasn't even busy.
