My dealings with this company were very good. Unfortunately my purchase was not what I required but a return was accepted and a full refund was quickly received. I would have no hesitation in dealing with company in the future as their service is exemplary.

Ordered a small order via Amazon.co.uk - realised it was from the UK shop ChinaChaps. The order was expited the same day.

Then went to visit the ChinaChaps site itself - found that they had had discounts exceeding the ones that were offered on Amazon.co.uk.

Gave them a call and they offered to cancel my Amazon order and send me a new batch with the discounted price while at the same time paying shipment both ways for the Amazon batch.

Recieved the new batch only days later despite international shipping. Was promptly informed of any news while waiting the shipment.

Everything was as ordered and my money from the Amazon order discounted even before ChinaChaps recieved the items back.

From this experience I can only recommend ChinaChaps to others.

Got an initial Email invoice and heard nothing since, sent an Email chasing heard nothing. Been two weeks since I place the order and no communication. No telephone number to contact them, won't use them again

Ordered item on Jan 16 and just received product yesterday ( Feb 16). Money was taken in Jan on ordering. The website does not inform purchaser that the item is not in stock an email does this the next day. Although I had the chance to cancel I think the website should be clearer ( being told it's in their delivery information but only in the second paragraph is not helpful).

Very efficient service from China Chaps, including the exchange of a vase for a different design, the vase turned up much quicker than the forecast delivery dates. The prices were also lower than in our local Poole Pottery suppliers. We would recommend to friends and family.

Very annoying when I paid online for china only to receive an email the next day, saying they would not be in stock for nearly a month. This was to have been a wedding present which I needed quickly. They should not have items available to purchase when they are not in stock. I will not be using them again.

I wasn't sure what size glass I wanted, they responded at once, but there weren't any in stock, they got 'em & sent 'em fast & what amazing parcel packing! Best internet shop.

Ordered an LSA tea set for a friend - best prices online and delivery within 3 days of ordering. Very impressed!

As advised in a previous review I checked the stock before placing my order and was told it would be despatched the next day. Two days later I couldn't find out online if it had been sent yet so phoned Christopher in customer services who said it was being despatched that day but remembered my previous call and knew I required it for the following day so arranged for next day delivery at no charge. My purchase didn't arrive in the usual Royal Albert fancy box but I suppose that's why the price is 21% less than the shop price. It was very well packaged. Would definitely buy from them again.

Update:
Spoke to China Chaps after this happened and they're actually good to deal with. They hold a small quantity of a wide range of items so it's best if you call or email in advance to do a stock check on the item you want to buy. Price wise they're better than the high street but they don't have an inventory counter on their site.

Placed an order for a Christmas gift and was wondering why there was no subsequent communication after several days. (Delivery times are supposed to be a few days). After sending an email I received a reply some time later saying that they would send the order out after several weeks and gave a January date. Clearly being Christmas you would expect some communication as they know people are buying gifts and January dispatch dates are unacceptable.

I had no problems getting the refund, they put it through right away when asked.

Website easy to use, and if you need to check anything their friendly staff just a phone call away. Products were delivered promptly and in perfect condition. Extremely competitive prices as well. Would definitely shop here again and would recommend to anyone / everyone!

Got some Kellogg's portmerion items from Cihina Chaps for a great price ... They arrived promptly and well packaged .... Fab experience 😀

very poor customer service, no communications initiated by them throughout my wait for delivery. 6 weeks and still not had my order. I would avoid using this company in future, I wish i had seen the poor reviews before i placed my initial order.
