We are regular clients of this company. They have definately more mishapps in deliveries than most suppliers we deal with. The problem is they take almost ZERO responsibility for damages that happen even if its their mistake. All empty kind words with no bottom line compensation. We ordered a mix that didnt arrive and when it was replaced they replaced with the wrong mix. Following order we were promises the mix will arrive on Friday. Only half the order arrived, yet they started giving excuses about cut-off times (which didnt stop half of the stock from arriving). Had to resort to cash and carry and was left over 10 days with zero stock of an important item. No compensation, nothing. I know I would deal with my clients and mistakes differently. Will start looking for new suppliers.

I ordered chocolate to be delivered to a residential address in the summer. Due to the heat wave, when I got the notification from DPD that delivery would be attempted with only 2hours notice I instructed delivery to a Neighbour but they didn’t follow this. My delivery got taken back to depot and never delivered. I can’t complain to DpD as contract is with the seller and they need to take this up but CFW refused they said they attempted delivery and was my fault not being home 24/7 without notice to accept it. They didn’t refund me!! I will never order from them again and advise to use other suppliers as never had an issue with deliveries like this.

After my first experience with this company, I’m not sure why I decided to give them a second chance — but unfortunately, the service was just as poor as the first time.

Once again, they failed to dispatch my order before their advertised 2pm cut-off time. Instead, I received an email informing me there would be a further 24-hour delay. The following morning, I contacted them to cancel the order, only to be told it had already been dispatched and therefore could not be cancelled.

However, if the parcel had genuinely been dispatched, DPD would have scanned it and it would already have been in transit. It’s impossible to get a straight answer from this company, and the communication has been nothing but inconsistent and misleading throughout.

I would strongly recommend saving yourself the frustration and ordering from a company that actually values and respects its customers.

This review is left for Gordon Fenton … I actually got sent the incorrect Monin pump along with my order - but have been reassured and offered a replacement asap… Gordon has been very helpful and I trust that this will be resolved- quickly.

Accuses me of suspicious activity when trying to make an account or checkout as guest.

Just ordered and paid for some chocolate chips online and then as soon as I placed the order realised I had forgotten to include cocoa powder. I telephoned immediately to ask if could add to the order and thus avoid a second expensive Saturday delivery charge. Not possible I was told. Really? Unbelievable! Even if the original order could not be altered, I would have thought that it could have been cancelled giving me the opportunity to then place a revised order to include the cocoa. Seemingly not. I won't be using CFW again.

Not so great oil keeps going into the doughnuts had no refund back wasted so much! Despite having different instructions on the bag and website. Customer service haven’t helped either!

I had my first order delivered 3 days ago. Unfortunately DPD tossed my order about resulting in a box wide open and 5kg bars of chocolate burst open and smashed to bits. CFW have been amazing at resolving this and my replacements arrived today intact. I honestly can't thank Gordon enough who kept me up to date with everything and dealt with the issue professionally.

Ordered a chocolate Melter on the 10th December 2025 that said in highlighted text "Order for next day dispatch"- heard nothing for a week and chased it up and got told it hadn't been dispatched yet plus it was being dispatched from Italy and I wouldn't receive it until the 6th Jan - so I said cancel please and refund and they said I cant as its been dispatched (this was within about 30 mins of being told it hadn't been dispatched)

They’re cheap for a reason. Ordered from Nisbets and never encountered any issues with any of my products. Their customer service is poor and the advisors have more time going back and forth being keyboard warriors instead of dealing with my request. First and last time ordering from them. Ordered White Chocolate sauces which I use for my business and been advised to microwave them as they separate whilst in the warehouse. Joke.

Unfortunately, CFW sent me the incorrect item, which resulted in the loss of a £400 customer. I had ordered white chocolate melts, but instead received milk chocolate. While I understand that mistakes can happen, this error had serious consequences for my business. The booking was for the following day, and the client specifically requested a white chocolate fountain to match their event aesthetics. They chose to cancel the service entirely when the correct product wasn’t available.

When I called to resolve the issue, I was informed that the replacement wouldn’t arrive until Monday, which was too late for the Saturday event. Additionally, I have not yet received a refund for the delivery charge, which I am entitled to, as the item delivered was incorrect.

I have been using CFW now for over a year.

Good prices (I do shop around)
Delivery has always been reliable.
I recently had need to contact customer services (my mistake not theirs) and their support was outstanding.

I bought a large chocolate fountain with sneeze guard last summer for a party. No probs with payment, delivery came quickly, it was fast to set up and easy to operate and to clean up. It was a massive hit with the guests and especially the kids. Couldn't ask for more.

Amazing company, amazing customer care! Nicola went out and about to get my chocolate mousse despite a very bad service from DPD. Products are over the top, good prices and as far my business requirements I will order again.
