Excellent Service
I have an annuity with Canada Life and have been experiencing issues with HMRC in relation to the taxation situation. I asked Canada Life to provide details to back up my claim, which they did relatively quickly. I then felt the information provided needed to be tailored slightly to pre-empt any further comeback from HMRC, which Canada Life did without hesitation or query. In my experience other providers could learn from Canada Life's policy to please.

What I like now is the online version…Thanks for accepting online submission of Forms.
What I like now is the online version of Canada Life, spe
specifically for international Travellers like me.
Though I have sent this month your form by post, the United States Postal Services (USPS)
gave me a postal delivery of 6-8 weeks.
If I want tracking of my post, for UK, they asked US $230.
Therefore, it is a great help for online mailing.

Honestly, I haven't much to review, which is how I like it. I requested a change of bank into which my monthly payment is made, and the change went through without a hitch. The date below is not accurate, as I cannot remember when the request was made.

It was reasonably straightforward to…
It was reasonably straightforward to open a pension annuity product although we id go through Hub Financial Solutions who di most of the work. My wife and I had a slight misgiving during the process due to the documents requested as most of our utility accounts etc are online and we opt for paperless billing. However we did manage to find a Council Tax bill which was still in date from the beginning of the financial year so all good although it did involve a trip to the Post office to get certified copies. Our documents were sent out promptly and are clear and easy to understand.

Time will tell
Slow to set up plan and poor communication, I transferred from another company to Canada life and after 3 days of the transfer of funds being done I had to ring them to confirm receipt of said funds, time will tell if the plan works as required.

Wide choice of pension plan options
I was kept informed of the progress of my pension transfer. The choice of pension investments was good and the plan I chose suited my needs. When an error occurred due to the admin team at my company pension it was highlighted immediately by the Canada Life team

Changing address.
I was able to speak to a person which is a rare thing these days and they were very helpful.I needed to change my address and it was all done in double quick time with no problems.

Some of the phone line support was very good, but others quite poor, a lack of consistency. I don't seem to be able to log into an online accouts, is this not possible after an annuity has been taken out?
