Really good experience with burger and lobster team
Lovely Deja Vu experience in Binney Street, W1
Had a lovely food, wine, and ambiance at Burger and Lobster at21 Binney Street, my son booked the table and knowing Binney Street from the 70's where I rented an office with Miss Gee's Secretarial Agency. I loved the coincidence but could not identify where my office had been in Binney Street.
We dined regally, on Lobster and Burger, wine, a ambiance and served by the lovely Irene who is a top notch waitress. (Fully attentive without being fawning.)
Its only when I left the restaurant that I ascertained that I had been dining in the basement wherein I had occupied first floor offices. (In fairness the fascia had been changed over the last 50 years)
Lovely lunch- Soho
Went to Soho branch for lunch booking yesterday( Saturday). Wasn’t sure what to expect due to some negative reviews. We had a lovely waiter. He asked us if we had any allergies and explained everything about our choice of food.We were served quickly. The burgers were tasty and the lobster linguine was amazing! The portions were a good size and good value.Thank you 🍔 & 🦞
Fabulous Meal at Dean St
We had a fabulous meal at the Dean Street restaurant in Soho. Our server, Peter, went above & beyond for us. We couldn’t fault a thing. We’d definitely recommend this restaurant.
When is a burger a burger?
Sorry but you should not call 2 tough tasteless chicken thighs in a bun a chicken burger! The rest of my party happy with Burger (beef) and the lobster. I was just a little underwhelmed but the service was good and the staff friendly.
This restaurant ruined my birthday anniversary!!!
Booked a table for a family to celebrate my birthday anniversary at Harvey and Nichols branch. We have a small puppy and can’t leave it home alone. Checked for a dog policy on their website before booking. Found nothing on visiting with small dogs. I know if something is not restricted then it’s allowed. We came in time and been told that dogs are not allowed. I’ve asked if they could show their policy then a waiter said that it’s a policy of a Harvey Nichole’s building. We haven’t seen any signs that restrict attending this building with any dogs. Then a waiter has called a manager named Israel who told that it’s their policy not to allow dogs. I’ve asked him if he could show me their policy but he refused to show it telling me that this is the law what restricts attending a restaurant with dogs.
There is no current law or any health and safety regulation in the UK that bans dogs from being in premises where food and drink is served or sold.
Also a manager told us he could allow our puppy to stay if it were a service dog or an emotional healing dog and they need to see relevant docs about that.
Manager has refused to show their written policy insisting that we won’t be served.
This restaurant has ruined my birthday.
Just want to add from myself that Burger and lobster is owned by a Russian Misha Zelman and Russia is a terrorist state!!!
Best value for money
Best value for money. You won't find a better Lobster in London than this chain. They're consistent and have really large lobsters for the absolute minimum market price you can find anywhere. I recommend to call ahead if you want to reserve the larger sizes, they will put it aside for you as they go very quickly!
SH 7/5/24
Went to the Bread Street (City of London) branch for a celebration lunch. We were really well looked after by Rhian and the rest of the team. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and colleagues.

Went to B&L west India quay for my daughter’s 8th birthday. Sabrina the waitress who took care of us was brilliant, she was so kind, caring and amazing with the kids. She did a fabulous job and I would highly recommend. Thank you Sabrina, we will be back :)
Poor Experience will not be going back ever
As below had issues with their supossed "5k tab'.
Absoulely appalling and false advertising at its finest.
I am writing to formally address a concerning issue regarding a recent promotional offer from Burger and Lobster in West India Quay, which I believe to be misleading and deceptive.
Based on this enticing offer, I proceeded to make the trip to Burger and Lobster on my day off. However, upon attempting to claim the promotion, I encountered unexpected obstacles and discovered that the offer was not genuine.
On 23/04/2024, I received communication from Burger and Lobster advertising a £5000 tab promotion for a feast on you at West India Quay. The advertisement clearly stated that the tab would start on Wednesday 24th April FROM 12pm. It clearly states in the small print that the tab will open from 12pm on the date stated and it will be a ticketed event that will operate as a first come first serve basis. However, when we got there at 11:55am we were told that all the tickets had been given out. This had started to be given out at 9am but no where on your email does it state that this would be the case. I also received an email stating "Crack, Chomp, Cash: All Gone!” at 10:15am, how is this possible when the restaurant does not open before 12pm and if that was the case then you should have stated on the email that the tickets will be given out earlier than 12pm. We paid for travel and parking just to get to you before 12pm for this supposed “free £5000 tab”. So I have now wasted my money as well as my time to get to you and had to pay for my meal at full price. The manager at this branch was not at all accommodating to anyone who was also here for the promotion after we told her all of this and did not compensate us for anything.
As a consumer, I rely on transparent and honest promotions when engaging with businesses. The misleading nature of this promotion has not only caused inconvenience but has also damaged my trust in your company.
I have made a complaint to you directly and no one has even bothered to acknowledge it let alone reply. So i will be taking things further.
Funnily enough you have now changed the wording on the email for a new location released today. Therefore shows your failures
Dear Burger and Lobster Management,
Dear Burger and Lobster Management,
I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding the recent 5k tab event held at your establishment. Having signed up for email notifications, I eagerly anticipated the opportunity to enjoy a meal within the £100 limit. However, upon arriving promptly at 11:30 AM, I was informed that I had missed the cutoff time, unaware that early registration was necessary to secure a ticket for the event commencing at 12:00 PM.
The communication provided in the email was misleading and insufficient. Nowhere in the correspondence was it mentioned that participants needed to arrive early to obtain a ticket for the event. Instead, the instruction was simply to "turn up at 12," leading me to believe that punctuality at noon would suffice.
Notably, even your staff members on the day acknowledged that the promotional process was flawed and not the ideal approach. Furthermore, it is disheartening to learn that multiple individuals were turned away due to the same misleading information provided in the email.
As a result of this misinformation, I traveled a significant distance, only to be denied the opportunity to participate in the event I had eagerly anticipated. This not only left me disappointed but also reflects poorly on the transparency and integrity of your promotional activities.
I implore you to thoroughly review your communication methods for future events to ensure that all essential information, including the requirement for early registration and ticket issuance, is clearly communicated to participants. Misleading customers not only damages your brand reputation but also causes unnecessary inconvenience and disappointment.
In addition to addressing my concerns, I would appreciate hearing about any steps you plan to take to rectify this situation and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.
I will say the security guard was the only helpful person ln the day and apologised for the confusion to all the customers that got turned away from the offer
Sincerely,
This was my first visit to the…
This was my first visit to the restaurant. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, not fussy at all. I could see there were families, couples and all sorts of people around. We were seen to right away, and had the same server throughout. Alex was friendly, professional and really helpful. He took the time to answer our questions, (which me and my friend had a lot), he was patient and explained them. For food, we had lobster and chips. A really simple choice, but really delicious. I had one half steamed and one half grilled, I preferred the steamed half, because it was more juicy and soft. I chose garlic sauce to go with it, which I would had loved more, but sure if I asked, they would had brought out more. I had to ask for salt, and mayonnaise, for the chips, so it would had been lovely to already have some on the table, but Alex was happy to bring some. The food also came with a small bowl of young salad leaves. We had drinks and they were delicious. I had no room for dessert, but I’m sure that would had been just as good. The food we chose, was pricey, but there were cheaper food options, and the price we paid was worth it.
Great burger and service

Go to the one in west India quay often and it’s really good. They’re great and always treat us with good hospitality. They have price ranges that accommodate everyone in terms of sizes of the lobster etc. really recommend it.

Burger & Lobster: Mayfair branch has it all
Mayfair branch has it all: great food, amazing service, beautiful team... especially Iwona.
From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted with warmth and looked after so wonderfully - every staff member was welcoming.
Not only was the food melt in the mouth, the service was outstanding. It was my first time of eating Burger & Lobster.... it definitely won't be my last. Too good an experience to be a one off.
Iwona looked after us exceptionally, fabulous job of making us all feel special - Iwona, we definitely hope to visit you again.....Next London visit, next London show, next Burger & Lobster.....
Thank you all 😊
Where else can you eat Lobster in London for that money?
My first try of Burger and Lobster and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the service.
Pleasingly affordable too; well done B&L!
An Unforgettable Disaster: A Culinary Nightmare
I feel compelled to share my horrendous experience at your Leicester Square branch.
Yesterday, around noon, my unfortunate family - consisting of my wife, mother-in-law, two innocent children, and myself - fell victim to your establishment.
Our descent into culinary chaos began when we took our seats and dared to place an order.
For myself, I opted for your chicken burger, specifically requesting it to be as plain as possible due to my unfortunate medical dietary needs. Meanwhile, my wife and mother-in-law bravely selected lobster rolls, each hoping for a palatable delight. My daughter, the prawn aficionado, ordered the prawns, and my finicky son went for a plain cheese burger, because apparently, his taste buds are averse to anything remotely interesting.
And thus, the food parade commenced. My son's burger, complete with an accidental salad ornamentation, graced the table first. I dared to make the unthinkable request for a fresh burger with no salad, and in response, was met with a waiter's perplexed gaze as if I had asked for a rocket to the moon. Alas, after some convincing, a miraculously prompt plain cheese burger appeared, either indicating a burger assembly line ready for action or a kitchen that operates on an alternative plane of reality.
My daughter's turn arrived - the prawns. Alas, their rubber-like texture rendered them unsuitable for human consumption, according to my 10-year-old gastro-connoisseur. "Frozen garbage" was her precise verdict, which I must admit, piqued my curiosity about her potential future as a Michelin critic.
Next, the lobster rolls for my wife and mother-in-law emerged. While their appearance hinted at grandeur, the taste betrayed them as insipid impostors. The fries, a consistent accomplice to disappointment, across all our plates, mercilessly waged a salt onslaught, making them as edible as a salt lick in a desert.
Ah, my burger, the pièce de résistance, finally graced my existence. Alas, my medically induced paranoia detected the presence of seasoning, despite assurances to the contrary. After cautiously scraping away the salad of which I, unfortunately, cannot eat (lest it stage a coup in my intestines), I dared to consume a morsel. A decision I'd soon come to regret.
In our valiant effort to capture the attention of your servers and share our culinary woes, we were met with a spectacle that rivaled a Shakespearean comedy: the waitstaff engaged in a passionate display of romantic interest at the bar, seemingly oblivious to our gastronomic plight.
Eventually, through the clouds of perfume and pheromones, a server acknowledged our existence. The offer of to-go boxes was promptly declined, as the food had proven its worthlessness. In response, I was astounded to hear, "So just the bill, then?" A phrase that encapsulated the heartless essence of our experience.
After what felt like an eternity of lovestruck glances and covert flirtations, the server resurfaced to claim our payment, as if concluding an episode of a reality TV show. I must mention, in the spirit of fairness, that the bathroom facilities were as lackluster as the overall experience - dirty, dysfunctional, and a fitting metaphor for the turmoil within.
Now, let us delve into the aftermath. Much like a cursed fairy tale, consuming your food triggered a cascade of gastrointestinal horrors. My entire family was initiated into the cult of sickness, though I held the dubious honor of becoming the High Priest of Vomiting, incapacitated and robbed of the opportunity to attend my wife's birthday theater outing.
Let's tally the expenses: a heinous meal at £118, theater tickets priced at a staggering £109 each, parking that cost me £36, and an immeasurable toll on our collective well-being. The day's total eclipsed mere monetary figures, manifesting as a black hole of misery, where your lamentable service and repulsive cuisine converged.
Went to the restaurant in Canary Wharf
Went to the restaurant in Canary Wharf. Waited over 5 minutes to place a drinks order. I don't mind waiting but there were 3 staff (including the manager) standing talking. Had to go up and ask to place an order. Over 10 mins later no drinks and walked out. Dreadful.
First time customer
First time customer , my daughter wanted to try the restaurant. We arrived to be greeted by Taylor the waitress . I saw many tables empty outside and requested we sat at one . Taylor advised of a ten minute wait and we should have a drink . 25 minutes later I went to see that there were still a lot of empty tables , I asked Taylor why are we still waiting , she advised me that there was no cutlery . I suggested that she take the cutlery from one of the 30 empty tables inside , Taylor said that this wasn’t possible incase lots of people turned up !!
This member of staff is untrained , unfriendly and unfit to meet and greet .
One chance blown to gain a new customer. On another note the security guard came to apologise on the company’s behalf , well done him 👏👏
