Excellent service throughout entire process.
Bournes responded quickly to our enquiry. A knowledgeable,polite and friendly person came at an appointed time to answer questions and provide a quote, which seemed competitive, plus no other company that actually responded visited the property. Communications were good throughout and the removal team were friendly and efficient.

Fabulous team and amazing service
The team at Bournes made our move as easy and smooth as it could possibly be. Regular communication from the office and then the removals guys exceeded our expectations in every way. They arrived on time and packed all our things extremely securely; stored them for a couple of months and then delivered them back with extreme efficiency. Nothing was damaged and not a scratch or mark on any of the walls of our new home, despite many, many boxes and lots of heavy furniture! We have no hesitation in recommending Bournes to anyone moving home and/or requiring storage.

The removal team were extremely…
The removal team were extremely punctual and polite. After my belongings had been packed, ready to be shipped to Barbados, I was shocked that I had to pay for weeks of storage waiting for a shipping date. It took 13 weeks for my door to door service. I have used other shipping companies in the past, when delivery has only taken 6 weeks, therefore avoiding expensive storage charges. When my belongings arrived, I was extremely disappointed with the amount of unnecessary packing paper used, this wasted valuable space, therefore meant that some of my belongings could not fit in the container. I found the experience very lengthy and after paying a lot of unforseen expenses, far too costly. I would not recommend Bourne and I will not use them again.

We work with a specialist data provider, TwentyCi, who use information from a range of GDPR compliant sources (including property portals, the Land Registry and other third-party data suppliers involved in the home moving process) to identify households that may welcome information about removal services. Based on this, they send a single postcard on our behalf to introduce our company. This process is fully compliant with GDPR, but we completely understand that not everyone wishes to receive marketing of this kind and apologise that receiving our postcard has upset you.
You should only ever receive one postcard from us. If you have received more than one, please email your details to marketing@bournesmoves.com
and we will ask TwentyCi to remove your address from their database so you won’t receive further mailings.

Last minute saviours
Came in the last minute after we were let down by the previous company. The removal team were extremely professional, polite and patient both loading and unloading could not have asked for anything better. Would highly recommend them.

The absolute worst customer service
The absolute worst customer service. I had a call scheduled with them to discuss my move, Andy Greaves totally ghosted me. I reached out to him and he said he had a hard stop, then why were you scheduled to talk to me? Then I receive a message after being asked to fill out all my info, only to be told they were full. I got in touch with someone else at the company, then they told me I could ship and they had availability. The poor guy Andy in sales, the worst person to be working in customer service and sales. The guy needs to adjust his attitude and learn to reach out to someone, that’s your job. I don’t care if you have a hard stop (which was his excuse), reach out to the person you’re working with and reschedule appropriately. What a terrible person to have representing your company.

End to end perfect
From the first phone call through to the end delivery Bournes were amazing. Julia was thorough and so helpful, whilst both teams that removed us and delivered to our new home were not just professional but really nice guys. Took the stress out of a stressful time and would highly recommend.
