I had an exhibition opening and wanted my hair to be up nice. I have very thin hair. I asked for a not too traditional hair up. I left it in George's hands and he did a great job. I felt really happy. I will certainly go there again ...

I have been having my hair cut by Pabina for a few years and she is absolutely amazing, talented and lovely person. Always happy and transformed afterwards. Everyone in the salon is very friendly and the salon has a very good atmosphere. Never used to enjoy going to the hairdressers till now. Thank you!

Ultimately disappointing. I initially had a good experience with one stylist at Blue Tit for 3 visits. That stylist left and I noticed that there'd been a review of pricing across the company. I had been going to have my head shaved with clippers to grade 1 and was worried that I'd be overcharged as a woman. For my first 3 visits, I was charged £36. These were done professionally and with care by the stylist I had though it was just a dry cut and some conditioning after. Then I called back three weeks after my stylist left to make an appointment at either Brixton/Streatham because I could no longer see the pricing for a buzz cut with clippers on the website. I was quoted £80 for a buzz cut! I was told this was because not all stylists have skill with using clippers. Took my business to Headmaster-also extremely reputable with great stylists- they washed my hair, massaged my head, cut my hair with clippers and conditioned my buzz cut all for £30. What a contrast!

Had a great experience getting my hair cut and coloured by Stevie in the East Village salon. I hadn't had my hair coloured before, and they really took the time to explain the different options and what would work best for me. Definitely recommend and will be going back :)

I had the best experience with Bradley of Blue Tit Brixton. Such a lovely man who took a huge amount of time to consult and suggest but he was not remotely pushy. I trusted him throughout and I can honestly say, this has been the best haircut of my life. Thanks so much Bradley - not only are you super talented but you're a lovely man with it too.

My son and I had a fantastic experience at Bluetit Portobello. A lovely bunch of people! Genuinely soulful and uplifting! Finn washed our hair, a rising star! We had our hair cut by Charlie who is just superb! Lovely person and a great stylist! Lovely Kamila who is part owner was so warm too! We highly recommend!! Thank you guys and see you soon!

A great men's cut by Gemma at the Peckham Salon. A really modern thoughtful haircut, and had great chats too. I have wavy hair and don't suit a severe cut so was really happy with the results. I'm a repeat customer now, already booked in for the next one!

Francesco at the Creek Road branch (Deptford/Greenwich) was absolutely wonderful. I never know what I want or need so he was very patient and guided me through various choices and suggestions. Ended up with a fabulous haircut that has the practicality that I need while also making me feel great. Thank you so much. I will definitely be back soon!

I had a wonderful experience at Blue Tit Greenwich with Francesco - I was a bit nervous going in as I wanted a different style. He was very patient and thorough and did such a beautiful job- he took time to listen and even showed me the best way to style it. The salon has a lovely atmosphere and I would very much recommend it.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Blue Tit Dalston with a top stylist named ..... I went in expecting a professional haircut, but what I got was a complete disaster. My hair was hacked into, leaving me no choice but to seek an experienced stylist the same day to fix the mess—at a premium price!

To make matters worse, when I contacted the salon about the issue, they only offered a 30% refund, despite the fact that their stylist’s mistake left me out of pocket for a full correction. I had recently undergone a knee operation and was unable to reach out immediately due to complications, but they showed no flexibility or understanding.

A professional salon should take responsibility for poor work and treat customers fairly. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I wouldn’t trust this place with my hair again.

This hairdressers is fabulous, my colour and cut have never been better. The staff are super friendly and the place is really relaxed. Mbali in the Woolwich salon does my hair and she’s super skilled. Love that they give you refreshments, the whole experience feels like a treat. The pricing matches the standard of the stylists and is worth every penny.

I had a fantastic experience at Blue Tit East village, all the staff were friendly and welcoming!! I’m so happy with my balayage done by Louisa, who made sure all the way through that I was happy with how it was turning out! I’d definitely go back again and recommend Louisa!!

I never write reviews but felt compelled to as I’m on a long journey to getting my hair back to health after my visit to Blue Tit Woolwich. I went in with 100% virgin natural hair after growing out previous highlights, so was a blank canvas (a few years to get to this so was a big deal and was so excited for this appointment). Was dying to feel shiny and new with a luscious new do :(

I had balayage but the outcome was dry damaged ruined hair that I’ve been getting cut shorter and shorter elsewhere in a bid to get rid of all the damage (literally from a couple inches down needs to be cut out as so frazzled from excessive bleach used and I think left on for far too long, crazy as I was the only one in the salon so not like they were busy).

From hair below my shoulders, I now have a very short bob which I can hardly tie back, but had to have so much cut off to tackle how bad it was left. I spent hundreds and am gutted it turned out how it did. In hindsight I also wonder why my hair was being brushed while it had bleach in it at the basin?!

I have spent a small fortune in trips to a hairdresser since so all in all a very expensive mistake and long journey to grow my hair back :(

My new hairdresser doesn’t understand what kind of balayage was done as it was applied so poorly.

Had a really beautiful full head balayage, at Bluetit Academy, in Clapton yesterday, by Katie. Katie, thank you so much, you did an amazing job and the brillant Rease, who cut my hair a couple of weeks ago! ❤️

Blue Tit is my go to salon because my stylist of 10 years works there, I wouldn’t get my hair cut by anyone else. Reece is simply the best! I have to mention the assistant Cal who has washed my hair a few times, his head massages are sensational.

I’ve been lucky enough to go to so many great London salons; John Frieda, Trevor Sorbie, Daniel Hersheson etc and more local Brixton ones like Myla and Davies and Aitch but no one compares to the incredible George at Brixton Blue Tit. He gave so much consideration to what would suit my face and hair type. A real master and I felt so looked after. Great hair cut, felt transformed but in a way that enhanced my personal style rather than a harsh change. Thank you George 💗

I am a little disappointed as I was booked in with a junior stylist Tom (Dalston) and he cancelled my appointment an hour before I was due for a cut and colour. It was a Friday and I had taken the afternoon off, I had also taken time out to go for the necessary allergy test two days prior. I then tried to reschedule with him and he aired my message. Not the most professional for someone who is starting their hair stylist career.
