Honestly, this is one of the worst dealerships I’ve ever dealt with. They’ve been lying and misleading since day one — especially about the finance agreement. The salesman kept pushing add-on products even after I repeatedly said no. Absolutely relentless and annoying.

The finance guy? I could barely understand a word he said — he speaks so quietly it’s impossible to follow anything.

They claim to do a “200-point check” before selling, but the very next day the car’s keypad battery died. I paid £3,000 extra for their warranty and still had to wait an entire week just to get a useless update from after-sales. In the end, I fixed it myself after watching YouTube.

And to top it off, I’m still waiting for my spare key — nearly three months now. The branch has had the key and service book for over two months but keeps blaming being “understaffed.” Two months to post a key? It’s beyond ridiculous.

After reading reviews on BMW I was reluctant to buy from them. I visited the Wimbledon branch and as I reported to Trustpilot . they were so helpful there. I left without buying but was certainly under no pressure.
I later returned and decided to take a chance on a Mini Countryman. Been using the car for a week or more and at the moment so pleased with it. Time will tell but at the moment can’t praise them enough.

The place and ambience is fine. The good part was they placed the 2 cars I wanted to see next to each other (which is one of the main reasons for the 4 rating). However, the wait time was too long. They did offer us a seat as we arrived, but had to wait for more than half an hour before someone actually attended to us. This after we had booked an appointment. The staff (at-least the one assigned to us) was a little pushy (almost aggressive) when confronted about the errors in the car website and when requested for details on the Finance plans and the add-ons.

Good service all round, a bit of a wait at the start as I didn't have an appointment and was fairly busy, but staff were attentive and helpful

More interested in selling a warranty than a car

We recently had a fantastic experience at Big Motoring World in Wimbledon, thanks to Luke
. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly welcoming, patient, and attentive. He took the time to show us a wide range of cars, making sure we felt comfortable exploring all our options without any pressure.

Luke’s knowledge really stood out—he explained everything clearly and in detail, from the features of each vehicle to the different products and services available, including the resealable plan we chose. He made sure we fully understood what we were signing up for, which gave us real confidence in our decision.

It was also a very pleasant environment overall. We appreciated the small touches like being offered hot drinks while we browsed, which made the whole experience even more relaxed and enjoyable.

Another highlight was their excellent website, which made it easy to filter and find cars based on our specific needs and budget before even visiting. It really helped narrow down our choices and made the in-person experience even smoother.

Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Luke went above and beyond to make sure we found the right car, and we’re absolutely delighted with our purchase. Highly recommended!

I wouldnt touch this company with a stick. Paid £120 for a car to be delievered from leeds to wimbledon-got tk wimbledon to see the car and it had a deep scratch on the side of the car what was not in the origional picrures and not disclosed over the phone. We paid over £60 in ubers there and back. When we saw the scratch we immediatly didnt want the car. We asked for a refund of the £120 due to the scratch not being there when we first enquired about the car. The customer service is nothing short of disgraceful. Showrooms a mess computers bolted to the tables. Save your time save your money, dont bother with these lot. If anyone from big motoring world is seeing this review please assist on this situation-your head office in kent didnt have a clue what to do.

The update below by the way ive been in touch with you via email and by phone and they have refused to refund me on the basis that the dealership said that there wasnt a scratch and hasnt even sent photo proof back to the complaints team. This company is a disgrace.

Nice and clean staff helpful

Was happy with the car i brought until I got it home and had to give it a proper clean inside and out and notice a chip in the trim of the windscreen and there is and issue with inisalisation of the tyre pressure. On reporting it ive been told they will not assist with the windscreen. Do they really check the cars over before being sold or do they just want your money. No happy after 10 grand spent.

missing wheel nut covers and nearside mirror does not retract fully hits the glass which should have been picked up on the 200 point check - came to site in Wimbledon today Scott from sales assisted me ...very professional on site engineer Andy took a look and mirror requires part replacement...ordered and will contact me when on site....great afterservice

I recently bought a car and there was an issue I noticed which I was told was fixed but it turned out not to be the case. The salesman effectively just lied. Al they did was pressure me into buying the warranty cover which is massively overpriced.

Customer service from Bill he was absolutely fantastic and answered all our questions and was kind and respectful and not pushy.
Which I thought was so important that we were not pushed to make a decision.

I had chosen a car and paid a deposit. All I wanted was to check it, buy and drive out. Then came the warranty hard sell. I walked out purely because of that, and will not go back which is annoying given the range of vehicles. Deeply worrying whilst we’re still in the middle of a motor finance scandal that dealers have simply moved on to strong arming people into overpriced warranties.

Incredibly rude staff at Wimbledon branch. To sell a customer add on products, sales manager in Wimbledon branch, would do anything.
Wouldn’t recommend this place even to my enemies.
