Friendly and helpful staff,gym is temporarily closed this week due to a refurb but pool is still open and it's a nice atmosphere and information was available. Happy I chose this site .

Well dated gym
Well dated gym , half the showers dont work , mens changing room smells like pub toilet , extra sharp coat hangers that are a health and safety hazard , that i've mentioned to the staff six times , poor security , bikes get stolen from the front , apart from that its great !!!

Staff at South Reading are brilliant
Staff at South Reading are brilliant. I’m a relative newbie and everyone has been so welcoming and encouraging, and this reflects on the gym- community also. The gym induction by Lisa was excellent, and all the staff- from receptionists to swimming pool lifeguards- are professional, helpful and always willing to advise. Top marks.

Staff member are very helpful. on 26/01/2026 Rhea went to her first lesion at 16;45 to 17;15 ,on her group there was 6 learner children's and the teacher was only one which I can see she was finding very difficult to monitor them, Myself and other parent had to tell our children not to go on deepen area from balcony.

It’s so good to be back at the Gym now I’m back on the system which is great and wonderful plus I also get to use the swimming pool for aqua aerobics on a Thursday evening for an hour session

Great experience throughout and the staff were really helpful
I had a few issues with the booking app and getting my details sorted but the staff on the front desk were really helpful and friendly in getting it sorted. Gym was really easy to use and at no time did I feel uncomfortable.

South Reading Leisure Centre
I was delighted to find that the South Reading Leisure Centre is a 20 minute bus journey from my home. The swimming pool is great, space for all abilities, not too busy and lanes available at different times throughout the day. Everyone is friendly and helpful and the app is very user friendly and makes booking simple.

Good customer service
I have recently joined the South Reading Leisure Centre. The membership I chose in the first place wasn't what I needed, so I called Customer Service and a lovely gentleman (sorry I didn't get his name) helped me to change my membership to a more suitable option for my needs. Thank you for the help and advuse.
At the moment, I've used only the swimming pool which was clean, water temp perfect, not too crowded and the lanes are organised for all types of swimmers.

Very disappointed and awful rude lady staff.I can’t believe gym machines and equipments are so so delicate when I’m going to use it’s brakes.I can’t use freely and happily.your money is not worth it.Feels like go somewhere else.
