Great value with super facilities. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Classes are well run

They took over my local gym and they're ruining it and haven't kept the same agreements for locals and partnerships with other charities that we already had, this isn't a charity it's a tax avoidance scheme

Someone said had you tried the oasis.

The whole thing is gross, from the bottom of the dirty floor in the swimming to the floor on the changing room to the mould everywhere it's awful.

Slow swimmers in the outside pool fast lane.
Water dirty.
Changing rooms gross walls and ceiling covered in mould.
Floors all wet.
Mould all over the bathroom. Dirty.
Used the sauna, full of old gays talking about very uncomfortable subjects loudly.
Dirty
Lockers dirty.
Dirty.
Avoid.

The swim teaching staff is very kind (April) and patient, and the facilities are well maintained.

Great facilities, been swimming here 10 years plus, friendly staff especially Ferrah on the front desk always welcoming and helpful.

Clean gym, friendly staff. Have been playing squash there for over 10 years and cannot recommend highly enough. Farah always greets us warmly and deals with any issues we have swiftly

Absolute gem of a place. The plain front hides 2 swimming pools (one indoor, one outdoor) a decent gym and range of studio classes. Squash courts good do with a bit of a refresh though.

This review is regarding the Oasis leisure centre in camden, london.
This centre has an appalling management. They organise some refurbishment of a studio without thinking of the classes taking place.
We turned up for a class in a studio full of building materials and dust. They decided to give it a clean when the class was due to start and we pointed out the state of the studio to the receptionist, Tuesday 25th November. Once the class started, the builder entered the studio to carry on the plastering and moving around a large wheeled scaffolding. The management appeared through the door and did not ask the builder to stop! As if it is normal and acceptable to have a full class in a room full of dust and a builder plastering moving a wheeled scaffolding.

Members and users are paying his salary and he should be responsible for the total mismanagement of the centre.
Unbelievable and appalling coming from a " community charity".

Gentleman on reception was very helpful, there was a problem with my phone and he was able to grant my admission to swim.

I am British but was living in Brussels last year and the pool experience there vs here is night and day. First, I go in and can’t just pay to go to the pool, first you have to be lucky that it is open (less so at oasis as there are 2 pools but still one pool is closed far too often with only one lane being used so it could be open) I have to give my email and phone and so much information just to go in. The cost in Brussels was about £3, here it was £8, I couldn’t believe it. In Brussels you could just buy a 10 session pass which then made it even cheaper. The changing room was gross and it’s 2025, we should have private cubicles, you also have to then pay again for the locker! Then the pools were mouldy and the floor all damaged. Then you come out and if you want to keep your valuables safe in the shower you have to pay for the locker again, unbelievable. It’s a terrible experience from start to finish and I just don’t want to swim there and haven’t since. The gym is better but showers still grim.

I swam in both pools. They were both pretty grotty and looked like they needed a very thorough clean. The women's changing area was poorly maintained with mould on the ceiling above the showers and significant limescale buildup and staining in the showers. Its a shame because it could be a really great facility for the local area. I would not swim in either pool again unless it they were thoroughly cleaned.

Amazing staff - they are all brilliant: friendly, helpful, experienced and efficient and always willing to take time to sort any glitch. Great teachers also, and an altogether welcoming vibe. And then there’s the pool. This really is an oasis for the community. A gem.

Cheryl has impressed me for years -- specifically, her warmth and professionalism at the front desk. In July 2025, I came to admire her even more. A bag of my belongings was stolen from the men's locker room (I was showering from the bag, just ten feet away). When I reported the theft, Cheryl could not have been more sympathetic. She dropped what she was doing and focused on my confusion and sadness. Cheryl is a credit to the Oasis.

Staff helpful, lessons good, facilities clean.

I generally love this pool -- it has done wonders for my spinal rehabilitation -- but it was utter chaos today, and ongoing problems have got seriously worse.

Yes, it was very sunny. But did they have to let so many people in to sunbathe? The pool was just about unusable for swimmers. Especially once the indoor pool was inexplicably closed. Did the staff scheduler not look at the weather forecast several days ago?

The men's showers are great but only two of them were working today. This is even worse than normal. There are roughly ten, and they are all needed even on normal weekday mornings.

I had left some sunglasses in the men's changing rooms on my last visit. Getting a staff member to check the lost property was a huge trial, as I was sent backwards and forwards between front desk staff, lifeguards, and the poolside manager. I will be complaining about the latter's bad attitude separately.
