When going in the evenings there is always equipment to go on. Cardio has lots of machines and overall amount of variety is great. Always clean and really enjoying using the gym so far.

Don’t bother signing up!
They’ll hike up the price on your debit card without telling you, and when you try to cancel, they make you rejoin at a different rate with tons of confusing membership options. The staff aren’t much help either.
Even with the NHS discount, it’s £47 a month—which is ridiculous considering the machines are old, they close at 4 PM on weekends, and sometimes shut down during the week for random “fixes.” You can find way better gyms for half the price.

Big shout out for Lisa
I've been a member of this gym for a few years now. I love training in such a friendly atmosphere.
A huge shout out has to go to the manager Lisa. She is absolutely brilliant and is always on the go. She always has a smile on her face and takes the time to talk to members, she how we are and give us guidance and advice on machines/exercises. If she is not doing this, she is cleaning!!!
My only frustration is that most of the time i have to go to the gym at 6.30am, and there is often a young lad there that is late to open up. Most of us that go early do so for a reason - we need to get to work, do a school run etc, and getting in to the gym late means we miss out on training time. Even worse is the young lad that is late hardly ever apologises which is awful.
But all in all i love this gym and will be a member here for many years to come

I really enjoy the induction. The person who run me trough the induction is call George. The guy is very professional, cool and calm. I would advise him to keep it up. The only bad news was the parking attendant give me a parking ticket that cost me £35. Apart from this the induction is excellent.

My first visit to Brentwood gym
My first visit to Brentwood gym; arrived at 7.15am only to find not open until 8am (my mistake, should have looked that up before joining). Twenty gym members waiting outside at 8.05am for the lad who opens the gym, to arrive. When he does turn up there is no apology for keeping so many people waiting. This was a dreadful first experience of your gym.
The actual gym was decent, once I got in, tbf.

I booked for a zumba session, did not know the way going because the main entrance of the mall is close., didn’t know the way since I was new in the place, however I manage to find it. It would be helpful if there will be information about map route for new comers especially non office hours.

We’ve only been members for one week…
We’ve only been members for one week and BetterGym have already cancelled two classes. We specifically joined for this reason and so are very disappointed. We are looking at cancelling our membership and joining elsewhere

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the gym, however, I couldn't help but notice the scarcity of mirrors throughout the facility. I believe that incorporating more mirrors into various sections of the gym would be incredibly beneficial. Not only would it enhance the aesthetics of the space, but it would also serve as a source of motivation and encouragement for individuals during their workouts. Mirrors provide valuable visual feedback, allowing gym-goers to monitor their form, track their progress, and maintain proper posture throughout their exercises.Therefore, I strongly advocate for the inclusion of additional mirrors throughout the gym to promote a more enriching and fulfilling fitness experience for all.

I joined the gym 5 weeks ago
I joined the gym 5 weeks ago. accidentally cancelled my direct debit so membership was cancelled. Marsha in customer services dealt with this very quickly and got my membership re activated within 24 hours. Brentwood Better Gym has good equipment, staff and personal trainers. Recommend.
