Cant fault the staff, Decent selection of mattresses. No drawn out process when it came time to order. Expected a quicker delivery date but the timescale they gave wasn't that bad.

Competitive Pricing
Bought an EVA mattress with 2 pillows during a 20% off promotion. Very happy with the price. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was given a date for collection 4 weeks later and the mattress arrived exactly on that exact date, at the shop, for me to collect. Only reason that I haven’t given 5 stars is that (1) during purchase, Bensons For Beds weren’t able to take payment from my credit card (I checked later with my credit card company who told me that the problem was with Bensons For Beds) so I had to pay using a debit card (2) my selection of pillows didn’t arrive … I was able to pay £10 extra to select a couple of nicer pillows though. All in all, I was happy ! Thanks !

Showroom well laid out so my wife could get around on her disability scooter and plenty of beds on show.

Worth the visit.
The bishop Auckland shop staff where most helpful. When ask if I needed help I reply not at the moment, as I prefer to look around on my own which I was left to my own devices. On finding the mattress that met my requirements, they could not have been more helpful. My purchase was completed and relevant information regarding delivery was handed over. The four star rating is because of the £49 delivery charge. This was not displayed anywhere in store that I could see and only found out on my purchase. It almost wiped the sale price of the mattress. I would expect this to be display on ticket pricing on all sales. Not to be informed as you sit doing the purchase. Overall from purchase to delivery I have no other observations.

Sneaky Delivery Charge!
The sales person was friendly and knowledgeable. However, at no time did he mention the delivery charge of £59 which we didn't notice until we had got home and made the purchase. We felt that this was a deliberate tactic and left us with a "bad taste in our mouth". Not sure we'll be back.
